Modern day society.

It's pissing me off.

I just don't understand some 'morals' today. If you don't look like everyone else, listen to the same things as everyone else, have the same views as everyone else... people either outcast you from society or get on their moral high horse and call you 'weird' and 'wrong' and 'sick' and 'twisted' and 'different' and all this other crap.

Why can't people accept eachothers opinions? Why is everyone scared to accept anything new or different? As soon as something new and different and strange and exciting appears, everyone suddenly gets scared and it gets stampeded by the mass of stupid idiots otherwise known as the general public.

Ok, I won't embarrass myself any further, I just wanted to make a point and see if anyone else is as irritated as I am...

Wow. I think that hug thing is awesome. Seriously, people don't realize how much a hug can make things feel better. And everyone has the right to one ^.^

Well this used to bother me a lot more, but I figure if folks are going to be that way, it's their loss. I'm going to do what the hell I want because I like it and think it's fun. I don't wish I would be any different.

and it's good that some of the flower power ideals can be seen around, like this free hugs, there's still hope for mankind (lol)

It gets to me mostly when it affects you in a way that you can't control, like having violence used against you, or being pushed around or bullied, or just having people treat you badly in general.

iv always had difficulty fitting in...when you move somewhere you just want to be like everyone else but now i realise theres no point and now its 5 years later and noone gives a dam about what everone else is like (though i must admit i still do try to fit in a bit)

If you don't mind me saying annie, it doesn't really matter. What I think she's saying is why little ones don't learn tolerance and keep it. Because most of us at some point in our lives, by someone, are told such. I guess one could say 'maturity', but then why are so many adults the same way? Are we, as a species, simply afraid of what we don't really understand?

it is like that in most cases i suppose.... you find nowdays, i know especially in london and places like that, that "black" people are the ones that have to fight to survive, then they get in trouble for doing things like stealing that if they had been givin a proper education and shelter etc. they would not have to do.
its unfair that people are singled out just because they are "different" and this is the main reason why people are diven to doing things they wouldnt normally do. i know when i used to be teased i wanted so much to deck them and beat the **** out of them( and i still do sometimes) and thats the main reason why people start to get into trouble in the first place....
