Rain

I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain,
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain,
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the $li$hity-slosh of the rain in my head.

I step very softly,
I walk very slow,
I can't do a handstand--
I might overflow,
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.

I wrote this to my best friends

Our memory lane of frozen tears
Our thought and hopes our dreamsand fears
Our actions completly frozen in time
Our words always seem to ryhme
It was 11 of us then it went down to 7
It wasnt the same heaven
we got older times got harder
We grew apart farther and father
But even though im leaving soon
the begining of your summer june
I want you guys to know your the best
And that your all still pests
I love you guys with all my heart
and ill cry loads when we finally part
But dont give up stay srong
Ill be back before to long.

Haha... dear you don't need to tell me that. Lol... I didn't mean that I couldn't write... I simply meant that I've had super extremely terrible writers block for a while. Lol. Thanks though. ^.^

I like the signature a lot as well.

I don't get it. I said I liked it because I do.

I don't really understand poetry, or know enough about it to write it. I hate the rhyming and syllable ones, makes it even harder.

Good then. I'm working on a poem now... it's going to be a painstaking process... just finding a set topic at least. *sigh*

Here's a poem of mine i wrote the other day.

Bitter Thoughts.
A wish fullfilled
but filled with ashes
pure and white, but sweet:

A love for me
and me alone
with one i cannot meet.

How cruel the world
this world i love
which would deny my dreams

and keep me from
the things i want,
by ripping them at the seams.

This is my favourite ever poem ... I don't know the title.

Cruel world,
showing love only to
those who desperately
need an escape from
the place that hurts you so.

True love,
sending butterfly kisses
on your skin as soft as clouds
and lightly caressing down
on your lips as pure bliss.

Time,
touching the hearts wrought
in pain and the love of hating pain
and all of its causes that
make you feel so alive.

Passion,
heart beats rise with a firey
feeling that only that person
can rage in the empty cavern
of a heart that you hold so dear.

Hope,
instilled upon you by a
tormented soul that you
wish would realize its natural
love for only you.

And eyes
the color of silver stormclouds
rain love upon those they
can afford to love without
giving too much away.
