Which dragon do u thing saphira will mate w/ and how do u think it will happen if she is captured and forced to mate w/ thorn or shruikan? because annibee and I were haveing a discussion on how it will work out so i decided to make a new topic about it...

I think that the last dragon egg will somehow be rescued, by the varden and saphira will end up mating with that. It looks like Glaedr will not mate with Saphira and it would really add a lot of suspense to the Empire if saphira ended up getting captured!

ya i had always though that shaphira and eragon would get captured and eragon would be threatened to be killed if she didnt obey galbatorix and let thorn "mata" her... dont realy know how to put it..

I am kinda thinking that Saphira will get captured, and Eragon and Roran will have to work together to rescue Saphira and Katrina, but if that happened that would probably take about 3/4's of the next book so i dont really think it is going to happen but hey I guess we will see wont we.

ya.. but i dont think just one of them will be captured because they are almost allways together so they both will get captured.. thats if they even do tho

True, but remember one of them has been captured before, that was a completely different case where Eragon and Saphira werent always riding together

The only dragon besides thorn Saphria can mate with is The Green Dragon, because SHurikuan (spelling) is to old and would proabably not stand it and neither would gilby

Vanir is the elf that duels with Eragon in Ellesmera, and I agree with scarecrow. I think it will be Roran.

She's old though. She'd be probably the best. She may seem young but remember Elves have a long life span and she is way beyond Murtagh and Eragon not sure about Galbatorix though. Talking about Arya. And thank you for agreeing with me Jayde.

Galbatorix is really, really old. I think he's older than Arya.

he's not much older, because he was pretty young for a rider when he caused the fall, the year Arya was born. She is a great swordsman, archer, and speel caster, so why wouldn't she wouldn't she make a great rider???? Besides, it will partially solve Eragon's love problem, unless he makes many other stupid moves like he did all the time in Ellesmera (though he was under the influence... of magic).

Your sig says I'm not Crazy, what's that got to do with the dragon being Arya's? I still say Roran, He and Eragon go to Urubaen or Helgrind and they find katrina and by stumble Roran accidently touches the egg and it hatches for him or Eragon says take it and he does and it hatches later on. The egg is NOT in the Helgrind, where Katrina is. I know how everyone wants a family rider thing, but that's not going to happen! Roran would make a horrible rider. Vanir or Arya would make a much better rider. Elvenwarrior can back me on this. There needs to be balence, so the next rider will be an elf (we aren't discussing which elf). I'm the one who told everyone that dragons can mate between 4&5 months.

When did Oromis get his egg? If he was around Arya's age I might think so. I don't see how it's going to be equal. Galbatorix human, Eragon human, part elf, Murtagh human, Arya elf? If you're counting on Eragon to be elf then it might be fair but I'm still going with Roran.

He was a high ranking Rider when he taugh Morzan, so he must have gotten it WAY before the fall. I still count Eragon as human, even though now, I agree he is a human/elf thing. What the dragons did was they sped up the changes that they have made with the elves for Eragon in a few moments. So he is kind of half elf/ half human, but still is human at heart.

There is no way it can be Thorn because unless Saphira is captured Thorn will never be good because Murtagh and himself are bound to work for Galabatrix. And I dont think that Galabatrix will die alone I think that Murtagh will die with him

That could be true too. Dragons don't rape, Saphira would fight back before that would happen. There might be Dragons across the sea so she could fall in love with one of them, it may or may not be likely. I still say either Thorn or the Green Dragon. If not Thorn then the Green Dragon.
