They're about this Lodger who rents this house because he's at collage. Anyway the house that he is renting has 'dragons' in it and there is also something behind the Landlady as well...
Good Knight Sleep Tight, a child's story, but I got bored, 6/10.

Oh my goodness Selene I love The Taking.
Anyway, The Omen Machine by Terry Goodkind, 8.5/10. I looooooove Richard and Kahlan, but the book's pacing was kinda weird. Quite entertaining though, especially the first half.

Re: Last book you have read and rating
Well...let's see....I just finished reading the whole of the third Seven Realms book...I'd give it a ten out of ten...maybe. Nope. Actually I think it's more of a six out of ten, mainly because throughout the entire series, it has its moments of being fully and amazingly epic, then it descends rapidly into near parody-level cliche that's just written really well. Then of course it picks back up into awesome again. I looooove the slang that gets used, especially by the main character (It makes me sad when he doesn say "an't" anymore...) as well as the setting. It's pretty much one of the best stories I've read in quite a bit.
One of.
The other book that I'm reading, about halfway done with, is Faust. I love it. Really I do. It's written in this lovely poetic-verse that's just...wow...usually the poetry that I see in books isn't very good, but Faust...oh gosh I love that. It gets an eleven out of ten ^;^

The Vampire Academy: Shadow Kiss
To say the least, the story-plot earned a 9/10. Richelle Mead does first person wonderfully (in my opinion) with making Rose learn some hard and valuable lessons along the way.
However, with what happened in the third book, (not going to say it's a spoiler) I'd give it a 5/10 only because it made me so sad and it SHOULDN'T have ended that way! 5/10 for being sad and depressing. 9/10 for a great story. So overall a 14/20. Lol.

Now I'm reading Witchling by Yasmine Galenorn. I'm not exactly finished with it, but I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for what I've read so far. She's a very good writer and the plot, with where it's going, is very unique.

I just finished the Assassin's Creed Books, the first three anyway. They were quite good but a little under descriptive. Still if you like the game series then I recommend the books. A solid 8/10

Re: Last book you have read and rating
Oh, I've been curious about that particular book, Imp. Glad to hear that it was good! ^_^
I've been trolling the Mortal Instruments series, by Cassandra Clare. And it was amazing. Not my usual genre at all, yet I loved it. The plot was good and all that, but that's not why the books were so great; the characters, they were why the books were so brilliant. Those characters just seemed so real, and the female protag was just...ah...love her. She's the first female protag I don't hate or extremely dislike. Not suish at all! Jace says some dumb things, and his logic doesn't make sense, sometimes, but it doesn't take away from the books at all! Even the slightly overdone romance doesn't mess it up! And those of you who know me even mildly well, will know that it has to be some seriously good romance for me to actually like it.
Basically, 100 out of 100 ^_^

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens...it pretty much goes off the scale. I cried in the ending. Well, actually, about twenty pages before that. It's so very sad, but such a good book. All of the characters were brilliant, utterly brilliant.
