I think Eragon, Murtagh, and Greenie vs. Galby at Uru'baen.

eragon and galby will fight near the capital and murtagh will help one side or run off.

if greenie is in it, it will be eragon and greenie against galby and murtagh but murtagh will probably not try. Galby will probably make him fight with him.

i think eragon will fight against galby then arya will get captured by greenie and murtagh will rescue her in a very short fight (cause murtagh is way more powerful) then shruikan will turn against galby (cause he made him hatch and shruikan did not chose galby) then saphira thorn and shruikan will tear galby into three pieces: shruikan gets the head thorn the middle piece and saphira the legs (they all eat their piece)
and then they will have a huge party

but why would all the the now remaining riders fly to vroengaurd while the battle goes on at Uru'baen, and besides, where at vroengaurd would they fight

I think that the final battle will be at Uru'Baen or Vroeguard. I think Thorn and Murtahg will change their True Names and not fight with Galby, but I'm not sure he'll fight with Eragon though. I don't think the 'green' dragon will hatch till after the final battle, so he wouldn't be involved.

what happened with vrail was him hiding and galby cheated, maybe its at Ristvak'baen (Utgard) where galby and vrail last dueled

no it wouldnt b bad. maybe galby flees uru'baen because his army is losing to the now super powerfull eragon and the varden, and he goes to Ristvak'baen. when eragon gets there to fight him he says now its your turn to be nut tapped, *kicks him there,* and then cuts galby's head off and says "ironic huh"

Random Theory: Huge battle takes place, over, where? DU WELDERVAN! Galbratorix will want conrol of the elves! But everyone will gasp seeing Galbratorix since he doesn't leave his castle, so the battle will happen on the border of the Empire and Du Weldervan. Random Idea.

ya. . . i think that the final battle will end either at Risvak'baen, or Uru'baen, with murtagh, eragon, and arya (who i think will be the next rider)and the varden, against galby and his army.

Well, I'm betting Arya will turn up anyway even if she isn't rider

she will most likely be apart of the final battle against galby, but where is her place in that fight? i think it will be assisting eragon in the air along with murtagh against galby, and hopefully near Ristvak'baen or Uru'baen.

but that wouldnt be enough power for him if eragon had the power to fight him with a winning chance, and even if they were at Utgard, he would be able to take their energy, remember Gilead and murtagh vs. oromis, also, if galby took his armys energy, then they would die easier and he would then have to deal with arrows and other things like that when his army dies.

also if arya becomes a rider galby will also have trouble with her dragon

the dragon could hatch in the first two chapters, and then have time to train with saphira and thorn while the varden take "forever" as saphira says, to get to the next city to battle. the dragon could then be large enough, six months i would say, and experienced enough to battle against galby.

even if it is small, it might work, if the dragon is really well trained

ya, and remember when saphira said that she thinks humans spend most of their life traveling, cause it took them so long to get to feinster. in the time it took b4 the last battle saphira could train rigorously, and intensely, also using glaedr's eldunari as help with the training

I think that it'll be at Urubaen.

Reason: It's the capital, which means that it would be the area Galbatorix would defend the most. Because of this, it is the area that I, as a leader of the Varden, would attack last.

Also, Galbatorix probably stores his eldunari there, thus it is the place he would be at his strongest.

Who would be involved?

Galbatorix (for obvious reasons).
Eragon (unless he is killed before hand, which is unlikely because of Angela's prophecy).

I doubt that Galbatorix would be left alone in Urubaen, he probably would have some soldiers. As a result it is logical that the Varden, Surdans, Elves and Dwarves would have armies there.

Another thing, this should be the victory of the collective people of Alagaesia against a tyrant. Therefore each race, and probably each country, should have a part in the final battle.

thorn could have been cut open, like surgery, and have had the eldunaris placed IN him. oromis said that the eldunari couldnt be returned to its original resting place, cause no one knows where that really is.

i cant think of another battle zone, besides MAYBE morzans old castle, but thats near the spine and das leona, so IDK about it.

he must not die. if he did, it would be CP giving him a way out, cause he wants to be with the varden, and then tearing it away from him, that would be horrible! so then he would fight against galby, and then thorn dies.

i dont think the egg will be destroyed, but i do think that thorn will die because of the disadvantages his tail would cause him

OK... I think that the final battle will take place at or near the gates of Uru'baen. It sounds like a good place, considering Eragon will have to fight Gallby before it's over with. I think that would be really cool!

Thats a cool idea. I was thinking near Helgrind or in the Desert. But now i don't see the point with the hadarac dessert (noticed what i did). But your idea is way better.

Thanks! But it could be anywhere, considering. Now that I think about it, a more fitting place would be the location of the rock of Kuthian. I am just shooting ideas out here, so they are probably wrong, but those are just my oppinions.

Well, I think it's kind of obvious that the last battle will take place at Uru'baen, since that is what the elves and Varden are planning. But a few other places that I have thought would be neat for the fight would be Vroengard (because it's where the Riders had their capital set up) or even Utgard (because that's where Galbatorix defeated the last Rider).

vroengard is not likely because of its lack of people and fighting space

Yes but you presume they have a choice remember Galby dosen't care what happens to the rest of the empire so long as they come to him. I doubt he would be fooled by a lure as he already knows that he has almost all of the dragons hearts of hearts. The final battle will take place at wherever Galby has stored his hearts of hearts if Galby posses any sense. CP probably believes the battle will be more Epic if Galby is more powerful and so will choose a location where Galby has his full power.

Yes and Galby knows that so why move. What could they do that would make him move? Is your argument that it won't happen there because you think that CP wouldn't write so that Galbatorix would be that powerful and that you also think that he won't make Eragon powerful enough to kill Galby even at Uru'baen. Secondly if Eragon had wards like the Ra'zac he couldn't be killed with just a muttered word.

eragon might have to go to the throne room and then fly somewhere with galby following.
