i wuz just woundering wut everybody thought about who the next dragon rider would work for???

i think he/ she will work for the varden or elves

i reckon that the rider is a she not a he..and is going to be a human...which is only fitting if that male dragon mates with sapphira..as for the actual rider, i think that they will work for the varden

the rider is probably murtagh and eragons secret sister as the last two dragons both hatched for the people in their bloodline, because selena, their mother had secretly had eragon, who knows that she didnt have another daughter as well?


But its only an idea...

but i thought selena died rite after she got bac 2 morzon's castle so there wouldn't be time for her to have another baby and i think morzon would have noticed if she went missing or got pregnant before she had murtagh

yeah well she did have eragon afterwards, and eragon might have had a twin sister...

Personally I believe that there will be no next dragon rider. Once Galbatorix is dead the last egg will hatch for saphira and what murtagh said will happen. There is a part in Eragon in wich eragon has a dream. In that dream he see two peoople leaving on a boat (probably him and arya) and then he see two dragon flying in the sky(saphira and last egg i believe).

i reckon that there might be more dragon riders than just the one from the egg, if galbotorix dies, shruikan might still live because galbotorix isnt his true owner, and he might choose a new rider too

yea i think shruikan will end up helping eragon & ppl cuz like it rlly isn't a rel bond and like he isn't rlly loyal 2 him so like yea i think he MIGHT play a big part in the next book

or maybe galbotorix will kill him if he comes free..

maybe.....idk maybe they kill gabatorix and murtagh & galbatorix's dragon are free and like yea or they free both of them from their spells w/o galbatorix knoing and they help desrtoy his evil regin

yea but there were spells put over the eggs given to the dragon riders so that they would only hatch when the right person touched the egg

d next dragon rider hopfuly works for d good side... i hope will against galbatorix. After eragon lost from the battle with murtagh he back to ellesmera then do something something . Back to empire and fight galbatorix and murtagh. At the time beeing roran and teams sneak into the castle and stole the egg... Wait. The timing is not match... the baby dragon won't have enough time to grow up!! So change the scenario.

After the battle eragon will cure Elva then she become shielded from misfortune; so she can sneak up to the casle and stole the egg and get back to the varden (as if THat easy!!) so the egg will hatch for her or anyone might (even it's for arya or roran) the new rider come along with eragon to ellesmera to be trained..

Dwarves cant have a rider, they arnt part of that oath like humans and elves, i doubt they really want to be, when you are 4 ft tall hights would disturb you too

i imagine are dwarf's legs could hold on when a dragon manuvered? i'm affraid they'll fall coz not enough grip on the dragon..

It would take a special kind of crazy dwarf to ride a dragon, and with the shared love of good ale betweeen dragons and dwarves i cant imagine them doing alot anyways

yea really and at the end of the eldest murtagah said all galbatorix wanted to raise the population of dragons and stuff and if eragon went he would be put in a jail sell and saphira would be forced to mate with thorne or the other dragon and turned against eragon like galbatorix turned his dragon and made him like him and it would be hectic

As for the topic i suspect that it will be Roran maybe Arya. If it is Roran I think he might get his hammer enchanted because he's been through so much with it

what if like roran or arya touched the egg at the same time? i mean in the first book eragon has a dream that a dude is looking out and a ship is carrying 2 people with dragons above. Maybe Roran was crying because the dragon hatched for arya and now both eragon and arya iare going away with their dragons?

i think that roran will be the next dragon rider and then roran's and eragon's dragons will mate maybe that is why the two dragons were flying together.


but check this idea out. what if murtagh spell is lifted and that saphira and thorn mate. probably won't happen though because thorn and saphira fought in eldest
