Well I am boy is it hard you know soooo much on whats going to happen and its hard not to let on too much.

i have written a couple of short storys but nothing major i like to write about sci-fi and stuff its just really hard to find a place to post them

I'm writing a fantisy i'v wanted to write it science i was young but never did a good enough job but if i do finish it, then it will be very long may be a trilogy by the end

well um thats the thing the storys i write sometime arnt approtpriate. but only some. the others tend to be action/sci-fi. i either make them about street racing. or some sort of magic. the other one though are kind personal

oh I forgot when i was 12 i did write a story about a wolf

it was blood thristy though i'v seen lots of street racing around where i live i never thought of wroting about it seemed so normal still it would be interesting

exactly how long ARE your stories and how do you make the poeple in it different because when my friend read it i was told that all the poeple were to much like i was

talk to your freind more try to make poeple really diffrent what writers like me and you ussually do is make charecters based on close frinds or family

i did that but i wrote what the likes and dislikes were then matched them up as i had already started

then try to base them off of charecters from another story

I have a friend names mike that has been writing a series his whole life.....He just has tons and tons of hand written and some computer typed parts but he probably could get 2 books out if he could publish it :S by getting some to edit his work.....

I sort 0f wrote a story when I was 13 maybe 14 and it took me 2 years to finish it. It has like 400 something pages and like 28 chapters.

Me, I have tried writing a book, unsuccesful... Here's another start to my other. It is an ambush just like in Eragon and also has to do with Dragons... I'm not done yet..


The pearlescent moon cast ghostly shadows over the empty land. Only a faint whistle of wind could be heard. Enormous Elms towered over a glistening lake, making it a perfect scene for an ambush. Nobody would suspect any trouble during such a night as this, but trouble was brewing.

Dragon Riders are known to do many things…; there are many tales told about them…, though only a fraction of the tales are true. They were said to have been heroic, they have been said to be chaotic. Their true alignment is unknown…

“I can sense something up ahead.” Radstrom turned to the other rider who just spoke. The Riders dragon was comparable to a house in size. His wingspan must have stretched over 60 feet. The dragon was crimson red with spikes of black running from its scaly neck to the point of the dragon’s tail.
“Karino’s,” responded another.
Radstrom felt uneasy, he didn’t know what a Karino looked like. Karino’s look like 6 foot tall hairy bulls that can run on their hind legs. They have two horns that come out of its head, curve and point outwards. They wield scimitars, long swords, and sometimes battle axes. Karino’s also use an iron shield for defense.
“Let’s go.” Radstrom said unsure about what he was doing. He wanted to prove himself worthy of being a Rider.

I've tried to write a few books but I lose focus too fast. I just enjoy what other people write. Every time I try to write a book I end up copying some other book that I've read and it gets pretty stupid.

Well most writers copy somthing from other books story line, or whatever some say there inspiration was from ... book so i wouldn't stop just because of that. but, your choice,

well what ive doner is take my life situations and turn them into and incredible dramatic thing like I had a fight with a friend and i made it like a war between two peaceful countrys

Man, how did i miss this topic for three whole pages. I love writing, but i almost never finish a story. Right now im writing one with dragons, armies, hack slash, real cool stuff. And no its not even hardly like Eragon, but I did copy some of the races from Warhammer game, and some of the characters are based on books ive read like the Pheonix Emporer in my book is based loosly on a Pheonix Empire from a different book, but it is different. I think it might be one of the ones I finish

I tried to write one once, but I'm not a very original person, and if I get a good idea, I can't make it sound write on paper. I'm pretty good at fan fics though.

the last book i tried typing but sadly i had no disks to save it on and my comp. crashed
so now i'm writing it in a notebook i bought at wal mart

I am trying to write a book but i am only on the first paragraph. and i started a couple days ago. i jsut never have time. what i am actually doing is trying to take a short scary story i wrote in English class and change some of it and make it into a book.

When I was like in 1st grade I wrote a short little bear mystery. I illustrated it and everything (you can imagine what it looks like!). Thats as far as I have ever been in writing a book.

I really love reading... which has made me a fast reader... and I would love to become an author. I have written a few short stories already based loosely around concepts of science fiction or fantasy I have found, but it would be so cool to write a full-length story and have my name on the bookshelves of a shop. But I think writing is probably the hardest career ever... there is nothing to push you, nothing to make you do work. I would probably end up sleeping every day or something lol

I have tried to write books in the past but i really suck.

For the past two years I have been writing down ideas that I have for a book that I could write, now I only need to see if I will ever feel like writing a book. Just to show you how clear my ideas are I wrote a short story "Available here" for english and when I showed it to the teacher I had the year before she said that she really liked it and even ask me if I was writing a book . She might have wondered how I had been able to write that. I also used my notes to create a story when I was in grade 8. They have been really useful.

That's a really great story! I took a look at the rest of the site as well, and I really like it. You should become an author, or a really proffessional website designer or something!

Chapter 1
Remembrance Day





Argen sat down with a group of five boys as close to fire as he was allowed, this was his first time ever watching the molatka, the Remembrance Day, when all remembered the day before the dragons. . . . There was drums pounding that sounded crazy and reckless to those who had not heard it before. Then the singing started…
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmm mmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeee eeemmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeee the boy that watched with amazement as they pounded harder and harder on there drums jaja jeejee jiji juju chacha cheechee chichi chuchu - lataymoiya - yipchinedoya - hitoymoa! HITOYMOA!
Suddenly the music and the singing stopped, and then the oldest man in the village came forward and said,
“few of us lived when the dragons were not in our land, but many remember the time we fought them. This is when we remember this, for the dragons should have been eliminated! But no. the one who could have done it, from our own village! He let them live. We suffered greatly because of this. Many died, many more were wounded, and still he had the power to rid us of them, and still he did not. We come here to make our boys into warriors, the Dragon-Warriors, that they might some day rid us of this fiery scourge!” Argen knew not what would happen next, he was new to this. Though he had practiced his sword play and learned many ways to fight, he still had no sword of his own, and if he was to become a Dragon-Warrior he had to have a dragon sword. He must borrow a sword and kill a dragon, taking five scales from it, and when this was over he would take these scales to the sword smith and have him place the scales in the hand guard of a sword, the Dragon-Warrior would then use for the rest of his life.
The ceremony is over in a flash, all the boys are given a sword to borrow, until they kill there first dragon that is.
Argen has decided to find something to eat; he weaves through the huts to his own. He can smell the food cooking there, he goes into grab some.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING” a woman behind him screeches as he reaches for a bowl, he whirls around, face to face with his long time guardian, Jarkan.


(the noises that seem weird are chants, i would have italized them but, hey. i'm lazy.)

It's a great start, but you should probably keep it all in one tense. You know, It started in the past, and finishes in the present, like "he sat" and the "he whirls" or whatever. Still cool though!

i have bad grammar so it hard, and sorry about making the screen all messed up.

Hardly a chapter...and the tenses are all muddled.

you have to give him credit. it is pretty good. but it can be better

Book One of the Saga of Alftalis
Prologue
The High Tower of Sorcery hadn’t had unwelcomed guests for years. The mages and wizards of the tower gathered in their quarters and took the weapons and spell components that they needed for their spells. After that was done the wizards and mages ranked adept, apprentice, senior, and the archmage came to battle the forces that had invaded their tower.

In the highest room of the tower, the archmage Kingaust unleashed the powerful magical energies of his portal. As Kingaust did this job, a rumbling started to come from the heavens. The archmage didn’t look up, for he knew what it was and that soon he would be dead. From the sky came a large dragon of ruby red and on its back was mounted a man. Kingaust turned to his baloney and staggered over to it and waited for his doom. For on the back of the red dragon was not a man but a shadex, one of the most foul of creatures on land, created by shadows and magic. The dragon landed on the baloney and the shadex stepped off the dragon.
“Kingaust the archmage, it is a pleasure to meet you. I only wished it had been on different terms,” sneered the shadex.
“And that would have never happened Rasta for I will never fall into the path of darkness,” spit out Kingaust, “I know why you come and unfortunately for you I have completed my mission. The four Earthaens that are needed in the prophecy have been called. They are at the moment being whisked away from their world by magic to ours. I may die but this tower will not fall!” With theses words, Kingaust raised his hands and a great cloud of sulfur surrounded the tower. The dragon cried out in agony and started to fly away. Rasta jumped to the great beast and with that Kingaust crumbled to the floor, as the dragon flew home.

Ya, but the only "editor" I have is my sister and myself. Anyway, that's the start of the book series I want to write when I get older.

When I'm older I'm going to be an author. This is part of the work that I hope will be my first series.

I have tired and tried and trien to wite a book but they never come out good
