Age:- 246 (which is the equivilent of a thirty year old human)

Gender: - Male.

Skills:
Flight: Gavin is a powerful flyer, with a wingspan of over one-hundred feet, he can easily withstand most any storm, or wind that can come his way, he can also dly decently high, for the cold does not affect him because of his warm feathers. He is a powerful flyer because of his years in the harsh, cold, and windy environment of the high Northern Mountains.
Strength: Gavin is also excessively strong, he can easily pick up two horses and fly with them for miles. He uses his strength to keep him going when most other creatures could not, yet again attributed to his years of living in the desolate far North. He can easily overpower most anything he finds.

Race: - Roc.

Feathers: - Snow White.

Eyes: - Brown/Gold.

Home Village: - Nowhere, he is a Nomad, but he will eventually settle on Vroengard.

Parents: - Unknown, he hatched alone on a tall mountain in the farthest reaches of the North.

Siblings: - Unknown, but it is unlikely he has any.

Character Personality: Gavin is a somewhat slow creature, not in physical terms, but in mental terms, having no-one to teach him, he is not quite as smart as most other creatures, this is not to say he is stupid, it is just to say that he has never been taught and has a more "down-to-earth" thought process. In other words, he does not think things out, he does not usually have a plan, and tends to take things liteally.

Gavin is also a very stubborn and hard-headed creature. He rarely ever changes his mind and even more rarely listens to someone else. This in many ways is his biggest weakness, one that usually puts him into a horrible position and causes him to make unnecessary mistakes. He also hates to be corrected in any circumstances. He hates it with a passion, and it can cause him to fly off the handle which happens more times than a few.

Gavin is also very bipolar. He can go from an extremely happy, and friendly Roc, to a angry, almost killer Roc. He sways from side to side, dependign on how he is feeling that day. He has lost many friends, and gained many enemies from this. His bipolarity comes from the hate and longing for a family that he has.

Gavin is also a very lonely Roc. This comes from his young life of being completely alone in the far North, and also from the fact that he is so stubborn and is bipolar. He wishes he had a family and would do most anything for one.

Character History: Gavin's egg was lain by a female Roc high in the northern mountains, past the lands where anything lived in abundance, far from any civilization, it was lain in a small cluster of mountains surrounded by hunsreds of miles of tundra on all sides.

Gavin's egg was there for years, until the large hatchling broke free of the iron-gray colored egg. When the giant bird hatched, he was all alone, all that was around him were the scarse wildlife that lived in the area, penguins, as well as the occasional polar bear. The first thing the bird did was hunt down a small penguin, kill it, and pull it into the nearest cave. This was his life for nearly fifty years.

Gavin grew slowly, like most other Rocs, hower, when he reached the age of two hundred, he was large, as well as strong enough to leave the mountains, the tough, and bad tasting polar bears, and the stringy penguins. He stood on the tip of the tallest mountain and screeched so loudly, that the vibrations shook the entire mountain. He leapt into the air and flew South. He flew high over the vast tundra, as well as the mountains many miles south of the mountains of his birth. He crossed the forests of the mid-northlands, as well as the monsterous forest that marked the edge fo the North. Gavin finally landed, after forty six years of flight on the Northern edge of the giant forest, known as Du Weldenvarden. He looked about at the land of plenty and screeched happily. He then flew into teh forest and killed the first thing he saw, a large deer. He eagerly feasted upon the deer and went after another, soon he had killed about eight deer and his huge appetite had been satisfied. He screeched with delight and leapt into the air.

He flew aimlessly for days, until he found himself in the middle of a very bad place. The ground was an orange/yellow color and the sun shown brightly on it. The air was hot, as well as dry. The Roc hated it completely, so he flew as fast as his wings could carry him in a Northwestern direction. It was then that he came to Vroengard, and it was then that he found a new home.

Weapons:
Beak: Gavin's beak is lethally sharp and is as hard as steel. It is a secondary weapon because he has to put his head close to the enemy, a mistake he has yet to make, he uses his beak to kill his enemies after he has imobalized them with his talons.
Talons: Gavin's talons are his primary weapons. They are as sharp as daggers and are lightening fast with him. He has a lot of practice with them and has almost no trouble whatsoever when fighting with them, however he has yet to have fought a dragon, so he does not know how affective they will be against a creature of equal size and strength.

Likes: - Flying, hunting, cold, and storms.

Dislikes: - Hot weather, quiet, and dark nights.

Animal Companions: - None.

Character's Physical Description: Gavin is one hige bird. He has about a one-hunded and ten foot wingspan. He stands some fourty feet tall, and has about a four food beak. His talons are each three feet long and are as sharp as knives. His feathers are snow white and he is always preening and grooming himself to heep them white. He has fierce predatory gold eyes. He has a muscular build and looks like a humongus falcon. His beak is hooked as are his talons. He has orange scale-like skin covering his legs. Gavin also talks with a thick accent. It sounds a lot like highland Scottish. (I am going to try this, I think it will be really fun. =))
