Eriel/Emrhyst update

I think they both deserve an update now...

Skills:
Archery: She uses this skill better than magic. As a ranger, she attacks from a distance and rarely gets into close combat, making this one of her primary skills.

Magic: Her skill in archery is bested only by her skill in magic, particularly fire, ice and wards. She uses magic almost as much as she uses her bow and is able to conserve her energy better than most.

~Pre-release: Her ability before she releases Alcioraell is not as offense oriented as after she releases her darkness. She specializes in wards and other defensive spells during this stage.
~Release : Her ability during this stage is at it's peak. While in this stage, her eyes are completely engulfed in green flames and she becomes more reckless as she stays in this state. She is very aggressive and does not hesitate to obliterate her foes using the most powerful of her spells.

Swordplay: Of all the three skills she uses this is the weakest of all. It is considered average by elven standards, worlds apart from the above two skills. When used in conjunction with magic however, this skill usually becomes the bane of most enemies she probably wouldn't be able to defeat.

Spear: She can turn her sword into a spear by extending it's hilt until the weapon is as tall as her. She is rather skillful at this and can make it longer to be used on dragon-back.

Appearance: Long red hair that falls down to her waist, (Varying shades of) green eyes, slim, 5'7". She usually wears a white robe with a five-sided gold star on its sleeve with a shirt of mail made out of emerald draped over her torso, and she has a scar on the left thigh. People who do not know her take her lightly, much to their demise. Those that do however, know better than that. Her eyes change color as her mood changes. It turns a brighter shade of green when glad and darker when enraged. It can also turn turquoise when saddened. Her eye colors sometimes turn white, black and even blue depending on her mood. As her anger rises, it may reach a point when small green flames appear on the edge of her eyes. During this, her prowess as a magician truly shows itself, the wind around her howls, her blade is wrapped by water, taking on the form of leaves and vines intertwined with each other. The earth under her cracks slightly and a circlet of fire forms on her head. As her anger rises even more, the flames spread, and when it covers her whole eye and its eyelid, Eriel reaches the peak of her arcane strength but falls unconscious for awhile after five minutes, leaving her open to enemy attacks, as a result, she always uses this skill as a last resort, and through her years of training, is able to somewhat control her anger in an attempt to halt the spreading flames.

Weapons: Du Vrangr Evarínya (The Wandering Star) which was made by an elf smith and an unbreakable dagger made out of a white metal and covered in runes which she got from her mentor when she became a rider. She also carries the longbow she got from her mom and a quiver of arrows given to her by the dwarves when she visited them. The longbow has a silver trim, almost invisible, on the edges of it. The bow is unbreakable and the string never snaps.
She is able to form weapons out of magic when the need is great enough, and they are able to harness and use multiple elements. For example, she could form a bow made out of electricity and arrows made out of fire to both electrocute and burn her opponent.

Armor: A shirt of mail made out of emerald rings which she made for herself after her initial leather hauberk was placed in the 'beyond-repair' status.
Black vambraces with a detachable palm guard, black shin guards and the white robe she always wears.
She can also use magic to form various types of armor for additional protection.

Character personality: Mostly an extrovert, she is able to make friends easily with most people, provided they don't attack her upon sight. She is friendly towards her friends and very protective of them, her dragon and her mate. She is conscious of strangers and those whom her friends have been attacked by. Unlike most elves, she does not hesitate (Most of the time) to show her emotions and would openly smile, weep and laugh. She has a sense of loyalty towards friend and mate more so than country and would die for them should she have to, even if they probably wouldn't let her. She hates the Ra'zac with a passion as they were responsible for killing her father and most of her childhood friends during a raid in the past, she hates Galbatorix and his dragon even more for imprisoning and torturing not only her dragon but Feafnir and Star gazer as well.
She does have her down times though, and when that happens she only allows her closest friends near her. During this she can be looking out towards the horizon with blue eyes in one second and then flare up wildly when disturbed. She usually does not happen, although one had better stay away if their names are not Emrhyst, Keralin, Reb or any of the other three dragons.
She can lie, and lies very well when someone close to her is in a life-threatening situation, even though she tries not to.

Character history: She was raised in a village on the outskirts of Du Weldenvarden for 40 years before being sent to Ellesmera as Emrhyst hatched for her.

She first learned how to use the bow from her mother who had won gold 3 times in a row in an archery competition, when her mom died, she gave Eriel her bow, the young elf then made a vow to practice archery till she got better than her mother.

After she was confident that she had surpassed her mom, she decided to take up sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat from her dad. Her dad was reluctant to teach her as he didn't want her to fight up-close. So he gave her a test: She had to beat him with the sword twice and once in hand-to-hand combat. After being "killed" 17 times she finally passed the test and thus her training commenced. Unfortunately, when she had just gotten used to sword-fighting and hand-to-hand combat, her father died of a raid conducted by the ra'zac. She would never master those two skills until a few years later. Since then, she has held a deep grudge for the ra'zac and swore to kill them and avenge her father.

A few years after training by another rider, she finally mastered sword-fighting and hand-to-hand combat and a green dragon egg hatched for her and gave her the Gedwëy Ignasia. One of the elven smiths forged a sword named "Du Vrangr Evarínya" which was as light as emerald and as hard as diamond. Its hilt was made of the lightest gold and had a sapphire set in it. The blade was light green and the sheath was as white as snow with a gold trim. It glows if the hilt is in contact with the Gedwëy Ignasia. Her mentor also gave her an unbreakable steel dagger carved with runes.

Once when she was hunting dear, she was ambushed by kull. She managed to kill all but one of them and also suffered a long gash in the left thigh where a kull had managed to slip past her guard and had caught her on it. She later found out that it was a kull mage who had wounded her and that the wound would hurt when the mage or a shade was near and that it would hurt 10 times more than a normal stab.

She met Star Gazer and Faefnir during one of her battles against Galbatorix in Uru Baen. She first appeared to defend Reb while she was doing battle against Leth but was impaled in the chest by Galbatorix,however she was quickly saved by Faefnir.
They became fast friends after that and was admitted into the royal family of the dragon fortress.
She met Keralin during one of her many skirmishes. It kept on happening and a bond grew between them after awhile, although she would not admit it until they were alone on an island after being chased by Galbatorix's troops.

The both of them had a kid while near an ancient elven city and are now busy with him.

Traits: She is kind and cheery when she's not serious. However, her mood changes from kind and cheery to solemn and rather fierce in fights. She doesn't like getting into fights. She is protective of her friends and mate. She will also lie to get out of trouble of the need is great enough.

Likes: Animals, trees... basically all things natural, Keralin, Feafnir, Star Gazer and Reb. Hayren and Taliear.

Dislikes: The king and anyone serving him.

Dreams: To be a good mother to Hayren and to mold him into an rider worthy of his dragon.

Reason for dreams: Isn't that what a good mother would want? =P
