I'm just saying that I don't know of many people that truly care if someones reading a book. It's not an unpopular or obscure interest. I've read that book, too.

all right, didn't know where the statement was directed.

I do, reading is a good thing after all, and especially when one wants to know what others think of a work. I believe that. I do see your point though. that's the kind of thing that best goes unsaid though you know, because it's too easy to start flaming and such....

so what's this book about?

Silv, what is that last pic in your siggy about? You know, the person with blue eyes and the wolf (it looks like a wolf, it's hard to tell) with blue eyes.

That sounds like something I would enjoy reading. I'll have to check it out. What's the author's name?

Yeah, I was in the middle of editing when I had to log off.

It's about this ancient aborigional boy whos father gets killed by a demon bear. He has to stop it before it destroys everything. The only way to do that is by getting some sacred Items that you can't touch with your bare hands, and bringing them to this mountain. At that mountain, he has to pray to a kind of ancient God and offer the items (called the Anarak, or something like that.) to him.

That's Blue from Wolf's Rain (my 2nd fav anime) and she's a black wolf with blue eyes, but sometimes changes into an illusion of that woman ^.^

I wish the woman would describe the wolf pup better.

Who? Michelle Paver? A wolf is pretty much the same as any other wolf.

@Silver: Which one are you reading?

Personally, I liked them. I mean, I guess people could say they're kiddish, but I like the plot and characters. They're worth reading at least once, for sure.

I've read the first three; the fourth, Outcast, is sitting literally two feet away from me but I don't have the time to read it at the moment.

So far, I'd say I liked the first one the best. Then probably Soul Eater. Which do you guys like the most? If you've read past the first book, that is.

I read them all too except for Outcast, so I'm pretty much the same as Toph. I liked Wolf Brother the best; Spirit Walker wasn't as good, though. And Soul Eater was kinda boring. I'll probably read Outcast soon, that is, after Toph does, lol.

I wouldn't expect too much in the sophistication of writing style in these books. They're like 6th grade reading level, lol. But still pretty decent, I suppose.

Lol, then they must be pretty interesting, Arya. At my school the Inheritance Cycle is listed as a sixth grade book series.

And they're more of a fifth grade book (or lower), because whenever I've read them, they seem WAY below my reading level.
