OK, it has a drawing of Glaedr, Brom's ring with the Yawe symbol, and the part of Chapter Three, Light and Shadow. The chapter or excerpt is only five pages long, so I am assuming it (the chapter) has to be longer than that!

Since I have the Eragon DE, I purchased the Eldest DE, just so I can see them in my book shelf. These I wouldn't dream of highlighting them or making notes at the margin!

I hope he does though if he does i think he might die doin it which i hope he doesnt hes kl!!

Can someone tell me what the exerpt from the third book says? Thats the whole reason I went crazy online looking for eragon stuff lol. The way it ended just kills me, but I guess it was the same way with eragon to eldest.

Ok, here's what I think about the extra stuff: 1. the Complete List of People, Places, and Things is really useful actually. Whenever I'm speculating or discussing and I can't remember specifically what something was, I can look it up. 2. the excerpt from the history of Alagaesia is interesting, though I didn't find much I didn't already know or assume in it. Maybe I should read it again more closely. 3. Obviously, the excerpt from book 3. Although it's not exactly something that gives away any big plot points (they wouldn't do that), but it's still part of book 3, and I liked it, even with the bit of a cliffhanger. 4. the drawing of Brom's ring is really nice, plus Glaedr.
Eldest LE is actually my first copy of Eldest, so I can't really tell you whether the extra stuff is worth buying another copy. There's always the pretty gold decorations on the cover. |
