whats your favorite part of either book and what was your least favorite?

my favourite part was the battle at the end of eldest especially when roran met eragon.
my least favourite part was when brom died

hmm favorite was when eragon found out brom was a rider and also when his back was healed.. and least fav was when brom died he was my fav character.. and also when i found out murtagh was stronger then eragon

my fave part was when Eragon went to ellesmera and stayed w/ the elves my least fave part was when brom died but i loved what saphira did to his tomb but it was really sad

my fav part is when eragon is in ellesmera learning, but after his transformed. and my least fav part is when the razac kills eragons uncle and destroy the house

My favourite part would have to be when Eragon found out that the rider he was fighting was Murtagh, and my least favourite part was the bit when Brom died.

My favorite parts are when Saphira hatches and when Eragon is in Ellesmera.
My least fav parts are the ones about Roran. I somehow don't like him. He scares me... ^^

My fav. part was when saphira's egg hatched!!!
My least fav. part was when Eragon was in Ellesmira(?) and the golden dragon flys down... and the chapter ends and goes to a chapter w/roran!!!!

yeah, but it makes good suspense, thats what authors do, I likes the part where Eraogn is visiting Saphria every day just after she hatched

my favourite bit was the battle at the end and the mourning sage chapter. i dont have a worst bit.

my fav. part was when eragon was in the jail/prison in gil'ead and my least fav. part are all the chapters with roran. his adventure through the spine and all that bores me

Ah, my favorite part would be when Eragon climbs up the cliff and has to have Saphira help him: "Only you would be able to find the only dead end." I do admit I find Saphira cute sometimes.

Least favorites, well...The Deux ex Machina Magical Healing of his Back; Oromis's speeches about the Wonders of Atheism; and:
Eragon starts to eat the meat and suddenly feels revulsion (only after it's cooked and not, you know, when he actually killed them or was skinning them...). "Eragon thrust the meat away, as appalled by the fact that he had killed the rabbits as if he had murdered two people...'Should we give in to our impulses to hurt or kill any who anger us, to take whatever we want from those who are weaker, and, in general, to disregard the feelings of others?"
At the final battle: He has no problems with invading minds and killing magicians with magic, nor causing mass destruction with magic, and in fact, he is amazed at his own skill. Strikes me as kinda hypocritical.

I would have to say my favorite part was the begining of Eragon and the building suspence of the end of Eldest right before the major battle. The build up before the storm.

Also the part where Eragon teaches the ingnorent magic users. That was entertaining and really showed how far he had come. I also like the suspence of all the groups finally comming together and Roran joining up with the Varden

My least favorite part was the last word in the 1st chapter of book three beause it left me hanging and i want to know what hapens!!!

silver_storyteller, i thought that eragon was amazed in a bad kind of way at his skill.
