Using the techniques her father taught her, she can make someone faint with her mind and/or also stop their heart. She tries not to do that too much though.

Parents: Mother (Eloise)- died when she was nine. Father (Zarick)- left when she was seven to join King Galbatorix.

Personality: She is a spontaneous, outgoing, and quirky girl. She uses those emotions to cover her sad past. Her mind is much more mature than her physical appearance and she’s the perfect mother for her dragon, Asmis. Her heart always has room for another and she’s kind, accept when it comes to anything concerning Galbatorix. She knows how to care for any type of wound, weather it be physical, mental, or emotional. Her arms are open to anyone that needs the reminder that someone loves them and she asks for nothing in return. She’s very forgiving and is very emotional when she’s by herself. She also almost always has a smile on her face. It’s mostly for people that pass by because she wants people to be happy, even when she’s not around. She loves to just walk through cities and smile at whoever walks past her (and she also loves to look at the architecture) just to see their reactions. Though she always tries to keep a smile, she almost always cries at least once when she by herself; definitely not when Asmis is around though. Lilan doesn’t like to show her sadness, even when she’s around her closest friends, which is actually only Asmis.

History: Lilan grew up in the southern city of Melian on a very small area of land a few miles outside the city. She took care of her sickly mother after, and even before, her father left when she was seven to join King Galbatorix in Uru’baen. Two years later, her mother died of an incurable disease (a cold if you really want to know). She matured quickly to make up for the loss of her mother, therefore she often looks tired. When she was twelve, her father made a surprise, and unwelcome, visit, bringing with him fifty or so soldiers. He took her to Uru’baen because the king was interested in the spawn of this magnificent fighter. Her father taught her the language of the elves, how to over power the enemy by using only her mind. She met a boy there who was her age and also a child of one of the king’s dragon riders. They acknowledged each other, but never learned the other’s name. On the day she turned sixteen, Lilan challenged her father to a sword fight that she won. The fight went on for hours, both of them exhausted from all of the strength they were quickly using up. She saw a tiny opening that was left when she jumped over his sword to dodge a blow to her waist. Moving quickly through the air, she slashed at his shoulder. She left a deep gash on his right arm as payback for the one she had on her left ribs. That was also the day she escaped from Uru’baen. She’s been hiding ever since and then came the day she found Asmis…

Weapons: Fists- her right hook can knock a full grown man to the ground when she’s angry enough. It may sound odd, but bar fights are her favorite. Sword(s)- she sometimes uses two swords while fighting if she can obtain another. She often steals one from her opponent.

Likes: Flying, sketching landscapes and her dragon, talking secretly with the prisoners in Uru’baen, and bar fights (because it’s so fun to watch the drunk men try to fight).

Dislikes: People who think they’re more important than others.

Animal Companion: When she lived in Uru’baen, Galbatorix had and gray and white Great Dane that she liked to walk around with.

Physical Description: Because of the elvish in her background, she’s quite tall and thin. She wears what ever she can afford but has a pair of black, knee high boots from her aunt. Her favorite piece of clothing is the large, shadow blue, hooded cap she stole from the castle that conceals her entire body. She has a large scare that starts on her left side spine and goes around her ribs at an angle and ends on her left side rib cage.

Dreams for the Future: to see Galbatorix’s home massacred as horribly as the towns he’s destroyed.

Reasons: Because she hates seeing all of the villages after they’ve been wiped out; all the bodies stacked in a pill and the horrified, pained faces.

Alliance: Everyone and anyone who’s against Galbatorix.

Skills: Asmis can blend into her surroundings because of her reflective scales. The noon sky is the easiest since she’s sky blue in color. She can also sense people’s emotions. So if you’re sad, she’ll comfort you as best she can.

Eyes: Autumn orange with tiny grains of crimson that can only be seen when the sun light hits them at just the right angle.

Hometown: On the rock face of a outcropping of boluders near the town of Fienster.

Parents: Unknown

Personality: Asmis is a total child but can be serious when you tell her the third time. Lilan explains it as having a little sister who’s smarter than you… and can fly and breathe fire. Asmis, like Lilan, is very intelligent for her age. When she’s flying, she’s an entirely different dragon. She goes into a humorous stealth mode that Lilan loves. They love to do spirals and loops swiftly through the air and vertical drops. She’s caring and very likable. She’s overly emotional on the subject of food and she loves to lye in the sun when she’s taking a nap to warm up her wings. When she eating with Lilan, she likes to talk about anything and everything with her; they’ll talk about the best escape route out of the city they’re going into, or the cutest boy in the last town they were in. Asmis loves to fly through clouds. Lilan always gets so wet and mad, then Asmis will do some spirals and freeze the water (which makes Lilan even more mad). They both laugh afterwards, though.

History: She was born on the northern edge of the Hadarac Desert where elves found her egg and took her to the elvish city of Ellesméra. She stayed there for a short amount of time, denying every elf that touched her egg. Then a very odd and scary thing happened: she was taken. The robber(s) took her all the way to the Spine without stopping. She somehow was put on a ship in Narda that was headed down to the small island of Nía. She was then put on a different ship that went to a port in Feinster. She stayed in the village for almost fifty years, unseen and untouched. She didn’t enjoy this place though; it was nowhere near as hot as the desert. It was cold for a short period of time, then warm the next and the cycle continued like that. She was hidden on a shelf with other non-essentials and then put in a box to conceal her egg’s light blue coloring; she was starting to draw attention to herself. One day, if it was day, she was thrown out of the box and into a very cold heap of some kind of soft material. It was snow she finally realized. And there she laid, still unseen and still untouched. Until the day she met Lilan…

Weapons: Teeth- though she isn’t fully matured, her teeth are still a very horrifying sight. Fire breath- mostly for cooking prey but very useful in battle. She over cooks her food all the time. Tail- used in the same way as a ball and chain, it can be very useful when negotiating with robbers or spies of Galbatorix that they encounter on the road.

Likes: Sleeping, eating, and flying. She can never stay awake when Lilan starts to tell her a story.

Dislikes: Accidentally over cooking her meals.

Physical Description: Asmis is sky blue with reflective scales. Her tail is lined with razor sharp spikes and when she stands straight, her back is as high as a one story house or building. She has large translucent wings that remind Lilan of snow and ice.

Dreams for the Future: Same as Lilan’s (but in a much more gruesome way).
