At school a few days ago, the headteacher said it was 'justifiable' when someone kicked me in the stomach for (accidentaly) bumping into him in a corridor, yet he excluded me and said it was 'unnecessary violence' (note that he seemed not to care about it being selfe defense) when I punched a guy in the face, and thus broke his nose, when he attempted to beat the crap out of me with the aid of 3 other guys and a heavy duty bike chain (complete with chunky padlock.)
And why is this, you ask?
Because I'm universally hated by the teachers, seeing as I do crap in class, get rubbish predicted grades, then go and do the test and get an A, thus giving them and their judgement a bad name.

Yeah, I'm probably the only person in my school who knows how to punch. You throw it straight, don't swing. Put your body weight into it, though, just without swinging. And use your bicep to power it.

My personal opinion is that fighting is nothing to be proud of. Even if it's sometimes necessary.

I have never taken any defense classes of any sort, but I know how to hurt someone badly. One of those things a person learns. But it doesn't make me any more of a man. And I would never think of doing it, unless it's one of few situations where I lose it.

Violence is nothing to brag about.
