well, i actually think that it could be murtagh going with eragon. however, we must remember the premonition that eragon had in the first book. (sorry guys, but i don't know which chapter it was! ) there were two figures boarding onto the boat, blah blah blah, and eragon could tell one was a woman... and so on. however, my point is that according to the premonition, murtagh probably isn't going with eragon. so i'm sort of double sided.

Maybe Murtagh will have loooooong hairs when it comes to that point so he will look like women from behind

I just thought of something, what if, the dragons are Saphira and Thorn. Murtagh is behind Eragon and Arya.
Arya's dragon dies while lets say battling Shruiken.
So... That would mean, Saphira, Thorn, Murtagh, Arya and Eragon survive.
I'm not saying it will happen, its just an idea, besides, weren't Murtagh and Eragon bbf's?

don't ask. ok, so anyways, have you guys been on alagaesia.com recently? because cp had this, well, movie, ad he said that one of the major characters were going to die in the third book. (plus the fact that he was writing a fourth book.) so i think maybe murtagh dies, which would eliminate the theory of murtagh GROWING LONG HAIR!!!!! (and accompanying eragon, of course)

I agree.. saphira isn't gonna mate with thorn..it isn't right ones good..and ones bad hahahaha..it doesn't make sense..and i wonder who will get the egg? Arya? which i highly doubt cause of the fact she touched saphira's egg millions of times and it didn't hatch..i think that it might be roran..roran will be with eragon the whole trip i think..but i'm not sure

Yes; I believe that should happen. This is my theory of the Saphira and Thorn pairing.

1. The war will end faster.

2. The Varden and the Empire will unite and become allies.

3. More lives will be saved.

4. Eragon will have Arya.

5. Murtagh will have Nasuada.

6. No more tyranny or discrimination.

7.Everything will be back to the way it was before the war.

what about galby though?
