lol I always think that too. The thing is, if I were to truthfully say it, I would have thought of myself as the last choice for a girl friend. It always seemed like nobody liked me- while all the tarts are off with 8 guys going in a month! But I'm actually going out with someone! The thing is, he's sort of quite so I never really noticed him before. It's because whilst all these guys who think they're cool are all out and flirting-filled with confidence, and you feel like nobody would ever want to ask you out, you forget about the shy guys who are usually the nicest of all. Here I was, wondering if I would ever get a date, and now I got one! It's just such a surprise really... it never feels like it's going to happen to you.

I do hate generalisations. It's nothing to do with age- more with personality, maturity, how you act, you know? Some 10 year olds come out with better relationships than 16 year olds! I'm not sure age really matters if you're ready.

yeah i never had a bf either and i am 15 and if that seems sad, well none of my friends ever dated either. all the guys in my school are jerks anyways, but i didn't meet every guy in my school though

I have to dissagree, firetounge.. It's not healthy to have a bf/gf at the age of.. 10, for instance. I know kids nowadays are "grow up" very fast. They best to be friends, but nothing more than that. The one with personality, maturity, and how to act is okay; but--you know there's always *more* than just the 'psychological issues'. And that's what I considered as not-healthy.

most kids do grow up to fast these days. but that can mainly be blamed on society itself.
..as far as 10. kids will say they have a bf or gf at like 5. but they don't mean it in the same asspect. i would hope kids are not going too far at 10. a kiss on the cheek would be it for me. maybe a butterfly kiss. ( but that was someone i had known forever, was a one time thing and i'm pretty darn sure i was older that 10)

As far as i know yes because not all dates have to be private. Only the real important ones if you know what i mean.
