Wil stood all alone. The trees around him whispered softly as the wind coursed through their branches. Peace...finally peace had come to Wil's troubled mind. In losing everything, he finally found all he'd been searching for-nothing. He felt weary, tired of the constant war raging inside of him. First Saheit, that beautiful girl who strung him along at every turn, who picked at his feelings with the grace of a vulture... Then Danagon. Betrayal at its worst. Wil traced the ghastly scar down his arm with a careful finger. Then there was Elfrida. She who promised to protect, finally destroyed. It was her resolve, her strength that led Wil through his darkest moments, and at the very end, it was her hand holding the blade to his throat, her hand that slid that blade across his skin, opening him, exposing his insides for the world to see. A heart-wrenching tear slid down his cheek. Wil closed his eyes. No more...I can't take it anymore...no...more... "SILENCE!!!!!" he screamed, his rage letting go. "Why!? Why did you...Why did they...GAH!!!!" Wil fell to the ground, clutching his head and knowing he was going insane. Something was wrong...Somebody was shaking him...

Wil woke to see a very, very unexpected face hovering inches from his own.

OOC: I'd like to join.

IC:
Ara watched the two humans who were with one another not far away. She had not expected to see them, but then again she did not expect many things. She watched the two of them with her deep purple eyes glowing lightly and moved. She cursed silently as the bushes she was next to rustled in the eeiry silence. She rose up, purple eyes glowing fiercely and bowed her head slightly to the two of them. She said, Hello, I am Ara, dragon of illusion. Could you tell me who you are? asked the dragon nervously. She loved meeting new people, but these days, dragons were enemies of most people, especially humans. She watched them silently, knowing that if need be, she could flee to the skies and use her power of invisibility to escape them if they attacked her.

Wil sat up and looked at the girl. "H-Hecate? Have I seen you before? Where am I?" He blushed when he noticed her face was red. Wow...she's cute...I wonder if- No. I can't be thinking that way. I've got to remember my promise. My friends. What friends? The darkest part of his mind asked. They abandoned you. They betrayed you. They don't deserve your loyalty anymore. The logic was too strong. Wil smiled at the girl. "I'm Wil. It's nice to meet you. Ara, dragon of illusion, I am also pleased to make your acquaintance." Amnesia, it seemed, was determined to keep him from learning how he'd gotten here, but the lure of new friendship was enough to occupy Wil's mind for the moment, and the 'how' seemed insignificant.

OOC: go ahead and join, red. It's open to anyone.

IC: "Hecate, you never answered my question. Where are we?" Wil asked. He looked around. It was, apparently, Du Weldenvarden. The trees were too many and too large for the location to be anywhere else. Wil stood, or tried to. Just before gaining his balance, his knee buckled and he fell, knocking Hecate over and falling on top of her. Wil pushed himself up off her body, realizing what had happened all too late. His face went beet red as he stared down into Hecate's eyes. "Uhm..." Kiss her. An evil thought. Wil pushed it out of his mind. He rolled over, sitting a couple feet away from Hecate and staring at the grass. "I'm sorry. My knee, it buckled. I-" No other explanation came to his mind, so he remained quiet. He tried standing again, this time making it to his feet, and walked around to soothe the sore muscles. His face was still slightly red as he turned back around toward Hecate. "Well, what shall we do now?"

OOC: Wil, you skipped me.....

IC:
Ara smiled at the woman, whose name was Hecate. She also looked happily at the man whose name was Wil. She said, Good, I guess by your hospitality that neither of you will try to kill, or capture me. said the green dragoness as she walked closer to the two humans, however she stopped short of them as another man walked up to their small group. When the man asked who they were, Ara answered. She said, I am Ara, may I ask who you are? asked the dragon as she turned to look more closely at the man.

OOC: I think some of the history should be forgotten mostly the stuff about Hecate because I have ideas for her and history would interfere a little. You have to ask Wil about his

I don't know that I'm going to bring Saheit in I mean I probably will because Wil mentioned her but I want it to be a good reason and at an unexpected time

OOC: Arya, you're not. Although you are the reason Danagon betrayed Wil, it was his betrayal.

IC: Wil saw the dark look in Hecate's eyes. She was planning something. He only remembered scant details from their last encounter, but one thing stood loud and clear in his mind: She was part of the reason for Saheit's betrayal. Wil saw the newcomer and decided to let him answer Hecate's question. He built a small fire pit and lit it with a snap of his fingers. Sitting down by the warm, roaring fire, he sighed. Memories... he thought. Memories are torture. Why did I have to trust? Why did I have to create friendships? I've always been a lone wolf. Why did I decide to go against that? You're trying to do the same now with this Hecate girl, you know. Wil shook his head. That dark voice, it...it scared him greatly. He pushed his thoughts away and curled up the fire. Dreams overtook him shortly after.

Ara grinned at Zantos and said, Welcome to our group. Like Hecate asked, what brings you out here? asked the green dragoness as she shifted into a more comfortable position. She stared up at the moon realizing just hwo late it was and began to think about Luna, then, with her purple eyes glowing, she lay down and closed her eyes. Once she had done this, she said, Goodnight all.

OOC: Pass...

OOC: do you mind if I try and join?

Neela walked soundlessly through the forest, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves above the only sound she could detect. She'd left her small camp earlier with really no purpose, she was just admiring the towering beauty of the trees. Her mind was open and alert to all of the minds around her. She allowed herself to be immersed in the firest creature's thoughts. Suddenly a human presence flickered across her mind. She focused on it and discovered there were several people all together up ahead. She decided to see what they were doing. She contunued walking until she came to the clearing. She leaned against a tree at the edge and waited for one of them to notice her, figuring she'd startle them.

Neela raised an eyebrow and decided to follow the girl. What harm could it do? Perhaps she would learn something interesting. Neela nodded to indicate that she would follow and began to do so.

Neela stared after Hecate with curiosity. There was something about the girl that hadn't felt right to her, like she wasn't trustworthy. Neela shook it off and decided to go back to where the others were. For now she would do what Hecate asked. She had nothing better to do anyways.

OOC: I am not sure if either of you two know, but you have skipped, Wil, whose turn it really is, me, and redshurtugal like three times now. Is there an order, or are you just posting whenever the notion hits you?

OOC: Leo, calm down. One, PrincessArya's been here for a LONG time, so she knows what she's doing, and two, Wil's been asleep for forever, and therefore to move the story forward I requested via pm to be skipped until Hecate left.

Just be cool. It's not about whose turn it is, it's about how the tale is told. If we get caught up in whose turn is whose, then the story goes nowhere. So just be cool and let the story be told how it will.



IC: Wil woke as dawn approached. He heard voices a little ways off from the camp. Taking them to be elves and therefore not a threat, he ignored them. They ceased soon, anyway. He rebuilt his fire and relit it, knowing he was relying far too much on magic. He pulled some staling cheese and a loaf of fresh bread from his pack. After breakfast, he took a walk in the woods. His head hung heavy with thoughts. He found a stream after a few minutes and decided to take this rare chance to bathe. The cool water calmed his thoughts as well as soothing his tense muscles. The bath was just what he'd needed. Walking back into camp refreshed and free from his thoughts, he was ready to begin the day. An alarm went off in his head soon after as he realized Hecate was gone. It felt as if a stone had dropped across his heart. So she's gone...great. He thought morosely. Good job. Really. You drove her away. She noticed that you liked her, it scared her, and she ran off so she wouldn't have to say anything to you. This hateful voice inside his head surprised Wil. It was his own voice, and yet...it was darker, harsher, and more truthful than he thought he could be. It put him in a black mood. It was at this point that he noticed somebody at the edge of the camp. "Who're you?" he asked.

OOC: Lol, I wan't mad, I was just letting them know that they were skipping both you, Wil, Red, and myself. If that is how the story is, the I am fine with that, that is why I asked if there was an order. lol.

OOC: hey sorry i haven't been on, exams

IC: Neela looked at Wil for a moment before answering "My name is Neela, and yours?" She wondered for a moment if staying was a smart idea, she didn't know anyone, but then, she'd never been one to shy away from something because it wasn't neccesarily the smart thing.

He's part werewolf, Danagon! Be more careful! One part of him said. So am I! Just...not as advanced." He told himself. Wil caught his scent. Who were the people he were traveling with? Did he rejoin the Varden? Danagon couldn't imagine the Varden letting him back in, a Triblood who had broken so many rules. Wil and Elfrida also accompanied a person that was wanted highly: Galbratorix's son. Your evil, Danagon, you are nothing else. Danagon still remembered the voice. He looked back over the tree. Wil had turned his back. This time, Danagon tried something he had never tried before. He needed to let Wil feel his presence, but if he showed himself Wil might go into a rampage. So Danagon decided something. He began running back and forth between the trees, doing something he probably shouldn't have done. He began attacking Wil's mind.

The attack was so sudden that Wil cursed. Loud. The birds roosting in the lower branches nearby all took wing at his foul word. He tried to set up a mental barrier, but reeled in shock. So I wasn't wrong...it IS him... Wil grinned. If it's a battle he wants... Wil did something very, very stupid. Instead of continuing to defend himself, he slipped around Danagon's consciousness and attacked his mind from the rear. It was...more difficult that he'd initially thought. "Damn you Danagon! Stop jerking me around!" He finally caught a solid lock on Danagon's agile consciousness, and attacked him full-force. He broke through the first wave of barriers, the one he knew well, and was very, very surprised to find a second, stronger set just beyond. It was...so foreign in his own brother's mind. Wil lost his concentration and gasped as he felt his mind invaded.

OOC: sorry for the godmodding, but in the end its what Danagon had planned all along, right?
