I have two parents a mother and a father but my grandma is kinda like a third parent.

i dnot know my real dad or any one on his side of the family, or my grandma from my moms side or my grandpa from my step dads side so

You know those people that have 3 parents are actually pretty lucky? Because that gives thm an extra parent. But i also am glad just to have a mother and a father.

Yeah right... that's nowhere near true. Lucky? I wish. My mom and dad are always, ALWAYS mad at each other, and we have different rules at each house, and everything... Trust me, we are NOT lucky like you think we are.

its not always good to have 3 parents let alone 2 and as much as i would love to now my whole family and who i am its kindda like i dont want to now either my dad was a real jerk from wat ive been told but im not so sure if i can trust my mom any more i dont who i can trust cause everyone i now has hurt me to a certain extent and its gotten to the point were i trust no one

piper, you can always talk over your problems with your friends that you trust most. i am sure they'd listen since its a serious matter.

I never knew my parents either. I was 2 months old when I was left at the home I'm living at today. Theres 23 kids (including me) here. All were either abandoned or ran away from abusive homes.

Yes piper some kids don't even have any family left. Some are even homeless. People with at least one parent are lucky, two is a real bonue, and if you have three, your are really, really lucky. But if you just have two parent and they live together with you, then usually everyone is happy.

My father has had about 3 parents, or more. He has his original two and a step dad and I think a step mother.

except the fact I only have half siblings, no full siblings. I have a half sister, and two half brothers.

yea, all of my siblings have step parents, my mom and dad. My mom had my sister and one brother, she divorced. My dad had my other brother, and he divorced. So then they met up married and had me, so I have 2 parents, and my brothers and sister have 3 parents.

You're actually lucky, because having two parents together with you is often the best. No family disputes or nothin.

Yeah you wouldn't be able to stay in the one house for a long time. It would be annoying in my opinion.

Some of the kids at my school have 3 parents. In fact one of my friends has two dads and one mother.

But that must be tough having to go between houses, and parents like that. You would have to get use to them, and it would be tough, especially if their really different.

And having to adapt to too many would be alot, and drive some people crazy.

Sometimes if you have step parents they live far away so you can't see them that often. Then at least you wouldn't have to move around so much.

yea, but then if you do have to travel far away it might be tough, because then you would have to travel far. and then there's the fact that if that's the parent you like the most, then there's the fact of missing them alot.

Yeah, you'd miss 'em heaps. People with just three parents i don't think it would be too complicated.

LOL... You don't really have to like a parent to get used to them... And I think I'll stay until I'm 18. I don't want to pay for college myself, thank you very much.

Oh, and yes, it is kinda hard to get used to two different houses, two different sets of rules, and everything. But once again, you get used to it.

My dad was adopted at birth, so somewhere out there I have more grandparents....

now we're like "holy crap, I'm glad thats not my blood running through their veins!"
They can be pretty crazy sometimes.

I don't know my biological father. But I have my mom and my dad. (dad is the one that raised you father is biological, that's how I see it at least, cause father is all formal and your formal around people you don't know well) But ya. Normally it doesn't bother me, but there have been times when I just, urrrg, ya know? Oh, well, I have my half siblings too, a sister and two bros who are dissabled. It's not cool. But oh well, that was kinda off topic.

I have 3 parents if you count my step mom, but I don't! She comes between me and my dad.
