I like Shruikan and Glaedr. They're the best and the oldest.

I like sAPHIRA BUT i think its got to do with the fact that you know wat shes been through since she hatched!!

If you think about it, they've all been through a lot, we just haven't seenit. Shruikan's been enslaved and his original rider was killed, Glaedr's entire race was destroyed before his eyes and he lost a leg, Thorn's enslaved, ect.

i meant that we actually know what shes been through we were like actually with her when it happened imaginaryly speeking ofcourse!!! like we can realate more to saphira more then we can to Thorn or Glaedr!!!

But that might change in Book 3...? Hopefully we get to know more about the other dragons.

Thorn was forced to serve galby because he knows his true name, but you're right, we don't know whether he and Shruikan were already good or evil before they served Galby.

I really want to actually see Shruikan, because he hasn't even been in the books yet! And, I'd want to see a lot more of Thorn and Murtagh's relationship.

I like Saphira! I think her humor is just hilarious, but at the same time she is smart and wise. I like the fact that she's blue and that's my favorite color.
But then, so far the reader has only been able to enjoy her, and know know little (Glaegr) or almost nothing about the other dragons, So I guess I am biased because of it.

blue is my fave color to, but i like black. Shruikan and Saphira, maybe....

well, i have a wall lamp where it looks like he is climbing the walls, i have a dragon coffee table, i have a 3 part piece that looks like he is going in & out of the wall, i have a picture i cross stitched before my accident, o have a table lamp (his eyes glow when the lights on), i have a floor lamp he is holding up the globe and is about 4 ft. and then i have a lot of dragon nik naks. even coasters and a door nocker.
a favorite out of them would be hard to pick cuz they are unick. not everyone has some.

It would be exciting that the Vault of Souls contained a spell to free Shruikan from the spell Galbatorix placed on him. Then that he would turn against Galbatorix and kill him, so Murtagh and Thorn would also be free of their oaths and able to have the dragon race rebuilt. But somehow I can't see Saphira mating with him.

Now we're talking. One problem, how do we KNOW that Thorn isn't just twisted from his forced oath to galby? He could be a good dragon at heart (that part of his personality is probably restrained by galby) and only is evil cause of the AL? Dragons would do anything to protect thier Riders so galby probably threatened to kill Murtagh.... Thorn is definitely a BIG maybe.

Thanx, Anniebee. Even if Thorn truly is evil, I don't think he's PURE evil. He couldn't be because Murtagh isn't and dragons and their Riders were almost exactly alike in character too. Hey, maybe Shruikan will break free from the DM's restraining him and he'll turn on galby. That would make a very wierd twist. Even if it's not at all likely.

At this point, anything can happen. We do not know what CP has in store for us, soooo it's the waiting game now. OH how I dislike waiting!

Glaedr and Saphira mating is very unlikely because they're student and teacher. Doesn't that sound just a tiny bit eewww to anyone else? Thorn and Shruikan are just as eewww as Glaedr and her, so I'm puttin' my money on the last egg.

well my favorit dragon is gablys black dragon.. i cant spell his name so im not gona even try it.. lol but i like him cuz like black is a sweet color and a black dragon would look really cool.. but i think that saphira will have a white dragon egg if she mates w/ the green dragon or the other ones.. because their has only been like 1 white dragon and it would be like.. albino.. lol

I totally agree with you on Ruth, but have you forgot about the way K'van Impressed Heth? Or have you not read the book with that story in there? I think the book I found it in was called "A Gift of Dragons". It had lots of different stories in there about Pern. Go to "Books" on "Anything". Should be somewhere near the top...

If Saphira would mate with the green dragon, her hatchlings would turn out beautiful. Can you imagine a dragon with blue-green scales flying in the sun. It would be a breath-taking sight.
