Look more rugged? Well don't forget what visual effects can do hehe. But yes you have a good point, being raised on a farm all of his life, you would think one would be more rugged. Who knows, maybe they want him to look more younger, so that as he progresses through his training with Brom, there will definetly be noticeable changes.

You click on Profile on the light blue bar at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom of the Profile page and press Browse to find a picture to upload from your computer.
(It has to be 100x100 pixels, JPG and no less than 49 KB -kilobytes-)

I hated the way Eragon looked when i first saw him, like the guest said he isn't rugged and doesen't have long enough hair, he just isn't suited for who he plays

I think that Edward fits the profile of Eragon as soon as I seen him it gave me chills. Keep in mind that at the start of the book Eragon was like every other 15 yr old boy. I can bet when we see the movie we will see him become rugged as in the book it describes him as changing. The magic of the movies will in fact fullfill our hopes of a spectacular movie

I think that they will make him look alot for rugged but in the start of the book hes kinda skinny and well looked... but later on in the book he is more rugged because hes living outdoors.
And they will make him look alot more like the "Eragon" coz some of the photos on this forum are pictures of him in diffrent movies.

Sienna Guillory had her hair died in Resident Evil so I don't see why she would not have it died for this one. And the dude who is playing Eragon, I think he should have had brown hair. I really can't wait till this movie comes out, especially since I just found out about it. The effects in the 4th H.P. movie were great, but these books,Eragon & Eldest, are way better than the H.P. books. (thats in my point of view!!!) SO, the effects are or should be way cooler and unexpected!!!

Okay this is ther first time I have been on this web site and I have never heard of Edward
Speeler but I searched the internet, found a pic, and to all you deprived city slickers, not all farmer boys are rough and ugly (I know because i live on a farm and know almost no one from the big cities though I do know a few). Put some grease on Edwards face give him some rugged clothes and mess up his hair and he could get away with it.

yeah ed speelers is good looking and for me he definitely looks the part. i mean they are not all going to look exactly like the characters...that would be way too difficult and i am not one to bash peoples looks and how they act. but he does look like a good eragon and i am eager to see how he does in the film.
