Re: Who should have played Arya's part in the Eragon Moive You are 100% right,but the movie and the book are two completely different things.When every thing from the book has changed during the movie you can't seriously expect that everyone will be different except arya who will be exactly like the book.This is silly.In my opinion Arya in the movie was perfect for the movie,although her character is completely different it fits in the movie well.Even so,I was really impressed by her appearance in the movie.She was really awesome and very very beautifull,her hair,her face,her eyes...everything.I really like Sienna Guillory and i think she fit well in Movies's Aryas role

I can't really say an opinion on her because she wasn't really in the movie that much. I do think Arya was horrible portrayed though.

Re: Who should have played Arya's part in the Eragon Moive You cannot fix how people died. There are a lot of things that can't be fixed. Example: How a lot of the towns look, Eragon was supposed to be severely injured by Durza, the characters. There aren't many things that could be changed.

The actress herself was a good choice for a lower budget film, but there was little to no effort to match the book.

Re: Who should have played Arya's part in the Eragon Moive i don't understand how CP agreed to the movie plot. i wouldn't let some hollywood guy mess up my book. maybe for a considerable amount of money, but i doubt CP got very much.
As for Liv Tyler.... She's cute and everything but she doesn't strike me like a warrior princess. She's more suited for Islanzadi's character. Even so, CP copied too much from J. R. R. Tolkien and even if Liv would be the best choice for arya, it would be just another similarity between Lotr and The inheritance cycle. it would be ridiculous for the movies to have the same actors/actresses interpreting the alike characters(is this grammatically correct?). |

Re: Who should have played Arya's part in the Eragon Moive oh i've always thought that kate beckinsale would've been a great arya. especially when she has her black hair and with green eyes. her face is angled and has a beauty to it that could very well be described as elf-like. she would've been great... at least that's what i think. you might recognize her from underworld or vanhelsing. both portray a side to her that can relate to arya.
