Not Orrin, because he's not wise enough (remember the "Lace" incident with Nasuada?")
Not Roran, because he has less experience and doesn't know anything about Alagaesia's history, not to mention he doesn't have any alliances with other race.
Not Oromis, he's too old, he's not too well pyhsically, and he's hiding for years it would be awkward if he sudenly show up and rule.
Not Eragon, because he'll leave Alagaesia forever

I would prefer Nasuada. She's smart, she's determined, she's creative, positive, inovative, logic, and realistic. She has more than enough courage and education, behaviour and background as a leader. She's already maintain a good relation ship with the dwarf, elf, and Surda... She's not affraid of making decision, i.e. to move all the varden to Surda, in asking Eragon to make pledge on her (I forgot... did she? or it was Eragon's idea?), to make alliance with the Urgals, to providing wealth to the Varden using the Lace economy tactics, etc etc... I'm sure she'll show more wisdom in book 3

I think it was Nasuada who works on aliance between humans and urgals (Eragon show himself very stupid when he wanted to kill urgals )

Nasuada already leads the Varden, so if they ever overthrew galby, it would have to be her. Alternatively, nobody could rule!

maybe the riders will rule over and keep the peace but the elf queen might rule because remember the elves were giviing the riders orders before

I think human can't posibly rule the elves... It's almost imposible. Elf is much noble than human, so maybe Islanzadi keep her teritory untouched by the next empire. Whoever the King/Queen on throne it's not likely to rule Du Weldenvarden..

i do not hink nasuada and eragon will be king and queen. because i do not think eragon has a crush on her. but nasuada just might have a crush on eragon

thats what i was saying and then he starts to like her in the 3rd book or if not eragon if murtagh turns good again Murtagh and nasuda will get a love connection going

Every race has a passing of the crown. The Varden and Dwarves have already experianced this. The Elves and Empire are next in line, as well as the dwarves, who have to choose their new King. The Riders are very much the same, with the 3 new riders. The races will probably still be somewhat divided, wlthough they may be allies. The won't just be like "Hey, let's all be one big nation!" That would be strange. I think that of Nazuada were to die, Elva should rule the Varden. Roran and Nazuada are both good choices for human rulers.

To Eragon109: Yeah curse shall be excorcised (ugly word) but I that something of this curse will stay in Elva (her mind will be on same level like mind of adults....)

If she(Elva) were to continue her rapid growth, she would be in her twenties in a couple of years, the same age Nazuada is. Yes, I know her curse will be removed, but will she retrogress back to an infant? It seems unlikely since she needed the magic within her to do the growing. She just seems the only person of the Varden who will be able to use magic later on, and who isn't incompetent like Su Vrangr Gata. I do not hink Nazuada will die, because the Varden has already passed rulership. Elva's assent is just my litte will-never-happen idea.
