Re: What Will Make Eragon Leave Alagasia And Never Come Back You know, what we are doing right now is asking 'what will cause eragon to leave alagaisia?' when what we should be asking is 'what will cause eragon to leave alagaisia and never come back?'. Would losing someone like arya cause eragon to never come back? Probably not. Losing roran? No. The only things that would do that are either saphira dying (and even then he could stay for arya), galby winning, being forced out by the menoa tree (stupid), or dying. And none of those (except the menoa tree which is stupid) look very likely. So in conclusion, either something stupid is going to happen, or there will be a massive twist at the end. Hopefully CP though this through well when he was 15 and we get a twist (and not something stupid).

Then they can't be hunted almost to extinction again! Mwahahaha!!! lol I'm just kidding (though I wouldn't mind if that happened hehe).
I think the most interesting way of Eragon leaving forever would be by death. Any other way just leaves the question of "why won't he come back?" too open. But who knows, maybe CP really does have a good twist in store.
