OOC: Sorry, sorry, I got back late last night, I will edit this post the minute I can. I am packing for college today, but I will stay up as late as it takes to post here.

OOC: You can morph into Aeraldi if you want, it could make things quite interesting as long as you got a plan.

Aeraldi wanted terribly to go after Bahamut after he said those words to give him a piece of his life and see how he liked it, but the spell began to take effect sending Aeraldi into another fit of pain similar to the one he had just endured. He held onto himself, his tail wrapping around his wings and his claws digging into his paws. GET AWAY! He screamed at Phalynx. He didn't want to hurt her, he had hurt his loved once and he didn't want to do it again. STAY AWAY FROM ME! His scales flickered from white to black and back again rapidly, each scale changing of it's own accord with gray flickering across them. He never remembered the pain being so pronounced, so agonizing. He quivered with the pain, each limb being dipped into the molten fires of the sun.

Phaelis gave Eschelon access to her energy, her body blazing like a sun in the mind's eye. She would give everything she had to make sure her son lived. She watched with helpless eyes as Aeraldi struggled on the ground, a memory of him as a hatchling screaming in the night because of the pain running through her mind. I should have believed him. She thought, pushing the energy towards Eschelon. At least until the strange magic shot off and threw Eschelon around the room. She had never seen magic like this, nor had she ever seen any kind of magic backfire. She looked over to her son, who was still thrashing on the ground, unaware of the situation around him.
Somebody help! She yelled, no caring who heard her.

Lean watched as Aeraldi endured the transformation pain yet again. It ripped her heart to shreds to see him suffering so, with no way for her to help him. Then something went wrong with Eschelon and the Deep Magic. It blasted the tan male back and knocked him out cold. The shock wave reached her a millasecond later. She crouched low to the ground and dug her long talons into the earth. She dimly realized that Bahamut had jumped back into the cave and was trying his hardest to hold the magic around Aeraldi. She sprang to her paws and leaped to his side, determination flashing in her navy blue eyes like strobes. She didn't know what exactly to do, though. She was not a magic-user. She settled for standing behind the bipedal dragon, ready to catch him if he was thrusted back like Eschelon, or aid him in whatever he instructed her to do. Then her mind flashed to her early realization. She snatched her morph ability fully with her mind, incircling it with her conscieneness in a way that she'd never done before. She emptied her thoughts of everything but one dragon; Aeraldi. In black-and-white form as well as his grey. She felt her body shrinking to her cousins size, but that is not what made her gasp. It was the body numbing pain that ripped through her limbs that made her release any sound at all. If she would have been able to look at herself, she would have seen that a similiar pattern of white, black, and grey was swirling on her hide with dizzying speed.

OOC: So sorry for the wait, but pass, I think the hit Eschelon took should keep him out for at least one turn.

There was nothing in Aeraldi's mind but the sheer pain that continued through his body. No sound, no sight, he couldn't even feel the touch of the ground beneath him. Every section of him being forced together by the deep magic and being torn apart by his curse. It seemed to last for an eternity, every second a life-time, until finally, he could feel the pain become softer. The first thing to come to his mind was that he could breathe again. He relished the the air that came to his lungs, giving him life once again. Unfortunately, it only served him enough for him to scream in pain again. He screamed only once, his pain disappearing faster until he could think once again. Although when he did, he almost cried out again.

Aeraldi's scales slowed, the colors slowly darkening to black once again. When the sounds of his sobbing mother reached his ears, he snapped open his eyes to the scene around him. The first thing he saw was Eschelon unconscious in the corner, his limbs hanging in unusual ways. He spun his head around to the rest of the cave, seeing Bahamut struggling with the Deep magic. Let it go! Before it rebounds on you as well! He said quickly. A squeal of pain brought Aeraldi's head around to look at Lean, who looked extremely similar to him now.
No... Oh please...

Lean had managed to keep her mouth clenched tightly shut, until a completely fresh wave of pain swept over her. It came out as an agonized squeal, but to her suddenly oversensitive ears it sounded like the loudest roar ever made. She could feel her talons flashing out, her tail whipping back and forth, but she held no more control of her body than a flailing fish out of water. Colors flickered across her vision, mostly red, making her slightly dizzy. After what seemed like eternity, things began to slow. The shades of white, black, and grey stopped spinning uncontrollably and settled on a deep steel-silver-grey. The pain began to recede, leaving her body gasping for breath on the floor with her eyelids clenched as tightly together as possible. She drew in a single ragged breath, and reluctantly opened her eyes. Her multi-colored eyes abruptly zeroed in on the struggling Bahamut. Her muscles instinctively bunched and allowed her to spring forward to his side. She did not know much about the Deep Magic, but she was afraid, yes afraid, that it would destroy the bipedal dragon. Let it go, Bahamut! You don't need to prove anything to us, let alone possibly die in the process of trying! she cried into his mind. If she had been looking at herself, she would have seen her grey scales emitting a gentle light, just like the real Aeraldi and Phalynx could do.

OOC: I want to continue this thread, but since Voenth isn't available much anymore, I'm wondering what we should do.

Honestly, I haven't the foggiest idea about what to do. We can't really go forward, cause Eschelon is such a big part of the thread, but other threads that are farther in the future than this one are tedious to write because this one is, as of yet, unfinished. *sighs* My mind is blank. Draco, any ideas?

OOC: Hm. Well the best thing I can think of doing is godmodding him, though that might be somewhat difficult.

OOC: *coughs* there shall be no GMing, of Eschelon, there is too much about him unknown to everyone else. Sorry, I will try to post more, but please be patient with me. One of my highschool friend's birthday was this past weekend, and yes, Leonitus told me you guys were waiting on me. And, I know its my turn in a lot of RPGs please be patient.

Also, let it be known, that no one has to edit, but only Eschelon can control, hold, force, or really in any manipulate the deep magic, and Voenth will have SLIGHT control after Deep magic EPIC Rpg. So, if you already said something, no worries, but I figured I should let everyone know. As this is exclusive to my charries and someone elses only if I should choose, ya know, its kind of my thing, kind of like Kit's is the teleporting thing with Shyara, and such as that. Its my unique thing.

Eschelon's eyes flickered. This was not the frist time he had endured a deep magic spell gone awry. He slowly moved. One of the side-affects is extreme soreness and exhaustion after such as that. The tan dragon had trouble seeing straight as well as thinking coherently. He tried to shake his head, but only ended up cramping in his neck. He groaned and said, I am truly sorry everyone. I don't know what happened, I guess I tried to hold it for too long.

OOC: K.

Bahamut STOP! I don't want to see you hurt unless I'm the one doing it! Aeraldi cried, struggling with himself for a moment before finally deciding what to do. He charged the mighty dragon, even though his form was small. If nothing else, he would push Bahamut out of the way of the rebound. He used all of his strength, pushing himself off the ground and into Bahamut's side.

At least you let go then, Bahamut won't stop! Phaelis yelled.

OOC: Okey dokey (actually that's why I said it'd be difficult; none of us really know about Eschelon lol).

IC: Phal was relieved when Aeraldi's change was completed, but her worry was not gone yet. Lean was transforming into Aeraldi's form with great violence, and Bahamut was struggling. Phal could see that the deep magic was refusing to yeild to the huge dragon; if he kept up trying to control something that would not be controlled, he would be killed. Aeraldi seemed to feel the same way, as he leapt over to stop Bahamut. The silver followed after him, deciding to help as well. She drew on some of the natural magic surrounding them, and slowly wove it into the deep magic, finally forming a wedge of magic in the center of the wild stream to lessen its impact on Bahamut and divert some of it away. The magic was far too wild and chaotic for her to control in any way that would be useful. You can let go, Bahamut. It's not working. The deep magic can't be held by one who doesn't know how; I can see that! she cried. With all of them trying to get him to stop, the bipedal dragon was more likely to let go of the magic.
