ic: "Special effects won't save you!" she scoffed "but if we're fighting to impress then I know just the thing"
She whistled and Luciel jumped out of the stands growling, the wind picked up and both Cassiopeia and her wolf were transformed.
Crystals glittered over the mask which hid her face, and her armor glittered like the sea. Luciel bore a collar with a diamond on it and growled louder than ever.

" I wasn't impressing anyone." Zantya shot back, and Shedo and her pup came up in a growl that was fierce. Songar was once again the fire steed, and Star Gazer soared up above the battle. " Impressive tranformation by the way." Zantya said then her clothes turned blackish purple, to match Star Gazer, and Star Gazer's scales began to emanate a glow that was blinding.

"Are you feeling fashion conscious? We're here to fight not accessorize and show off!"
Luciel started circling the arena worriedly, her eagle circled over head and her squirrel and horse watched nervously from the sidelines.
I'm not looking forward to dodging a dragon she thought but kept her sword raised, ready to dive out of the way.

" Fashion concious around you? Ha." Zantya said, knowing it was rude. Her wolves and her steed backed down. Star Gazer remained. " I could finish this right now." Star Gazer said. " I am in a need for a good fight." She added.
" NO! That wouldn't be fair. Lay low." Zantya warned. Star Gazer roared unhappily and landed near the stands.

Cassiopeia sighed with relief and said "thanks" but it was very quiet so few people heard.
She brushed off the rudeness, it was part of the game, she'd never cared about her appearance much anyway.
She whistled and fireballs sprung up from her hands, slowly they grew waiting to be unleashed if necessary.

" Haven't you learned that fire obeys me?" Zantya asked. Fire surged from her hands ingnighting her hair, and it seemed to swallow her up, but didn't even burn her. " Ice!" Zantya shouted and ice daggers flew at Cassiopia. They sharped as they flew, and then Zantya rolled and loosed five arrows which caught fire. Then Star Gazer shot fire down at Zantya and it splashed into her palm. Zantya's power growing at a rapid rate.

She spun them round and they started flying towards Reb.

" So does Ice and water." Zantya shouted and the water froze, and slammed into the arrows, knocking them to the ground. " Legotha." Zantya screamed. A word from her own dictionary. It was a combining spell. The ice and water began to spiral above the two of them in a cloud. Making cold and bitter smoke fall all about them. Then lightening stuck at Cassiopia. Then torrents of rain whipped them about, it sooned turned to hail. Pounding down upon the arena. But not hitting anyone in the stands or Star Gazer. This fight was between her and Cassiopia.

Cassiopeia whistled several notes and the sky cleared the lightning disappeared and the rain stopped. She was glad to feel the sun in her skin after so many lucky escapes from lightning. Under the ground her magic was forming ready to strike at Reb.
"I'll give you credit you're the greatest challenge i've had since i was fourteen"

" I don't think I will take that as a compliment." Zantya answered. She was ready for the next attack. Instead of throwing a punch she let them come to her. She put her hands together and a red light emanated from them, encasing her hands then creating a shield that was as wide was she was wide and tall as she was tall. Although she was a very small figured person, but tall. Then her eyes turned to an ice blue, and her powers surged to a new highth.

ooc: What??
ic: Cassiopeia waited, the shield had to be a drain on Reb's power soon she would tire and let her defence fall. Until then she sat down and sustained the level of magic. She lay her sword out in front of her and waited. The flaw with shields like that, you can't move in them.

"i can wait here all day!" she smiled "as you use your energy on that shield, my energy rises as i rest, i can meditate and my wolf can watch you"
Her sword was clean and she was ready, the energy began to pour in, flowing through my veins.

OOC: mind if i join in? this looks like a fun RP
Faefnir watched the battle from not too far away, but hidden in such a way that nobody could see him. He had been observing this coliseum for days, with the Stag spying from within. When he saw the battle between Zantya and Cassiopea commence, he knew that it was due time to finish it. With Elidor defeated, he could seize this opportunity to make a strike at another practice Galbatorix supported: competitive fights. He despised this practice and was another thing that he wished to destroy with Shruikan. My friend, it's time. Stay hidden and wait for my signal. Faefnir then took off and headed towards the stadium. With a great roar and a loud boom, he landed on the floor of the stadium between Zantya and Cassiopea, hoping to end this fight and show them the true horror of dueling for sport.

OOC: Star, i asked you this already, but can you take over for me while I'm away? I must leave early tomorrow morning.

ic: Cassiopeia stopped struggling unwillingly. She was higher tha she'd been before but decided to trust in the dragon holding her. She had never wanted to be a dragon-rider but toyed with the idea as she waited to touch the ground again.

OOC: that message was posted over three months ago! people hardly even remember that this RP exists now. I guess if you're bring it back to life, we best establish an order.

OOC: OK, then it's my go.

Be patient young one. We are almost there. He found the clearing that was predetermined by him and the Stag and started circling downwards. When he was about 3 feet off, he let Casiopeia go so he could land properly. He gently landed next to her. Sorry for the uncouth way of transporting you. I couldn't go down low enough so you could jump on my back.

Cassiopeia groaned her muscles ached and she was travelling with far more experienced adventurers. She had work to do though her animal companions were still in the towns she'd need to summon lightning and guide them somehow.
Before she did that thought she'd need to find out more about these people, she remembered her competitor well she was a good fighter and the dragons spoke for themselves. She trusted the other traveller but was wary of them still.

IC: Gryfendel steadied himself as he landed. He spied a dragon about twice as big as himself and another blackish purple one next to him. He chukled lightly before flying off with joy to meet the dragon.

Eriel emerged from the trees silently. The rest of her group had been slain and she was not going to let herself get caught by the magicians. She opened her mind as she ran. Never stopping. She knew she had to outrun the magicians. She nocked her bow as she entered a clearing. Even though she knew she was safe with Feafnir and Star, she had been running for so long, hunting and being hunted, she tightened her string. They had set traps for her one time too many and she was determined not to fall into another.

OOC: If its coming back to life then i'll join as well.

IC: I see magic, and death. Sounds like my type of party.

Aeraldi altered his course and headed for where death would soon be happening. He flew quickly, knowing that it could start and end at any time.

OOC: Erm... Aeraldi is the oldest... He's 600000 yrs old and Feafnir is... 50000? Gryfendel's 15500.

OOC: but Faefnir doesn't know that, now does he? well, he could, but perhaps he's ignoring it.

ic: Cassiopeia sighed, she always seemed to be surrounded by dragons.
She looked around curiously dragons, dragons and more dragons which meant her youthful appearing but ancient minded elders were having another meeting. It was a hard life being a next generation heroine without a dragon.
"Good afternoon strangers" she said confidently "Where are you all headed?"

OOC: OK, let's establish the order now. Star, myself, lady, Eriel.

OOC: fantastic! that makes it Star, myself, Aeraldi, lady, Eriel.

OOC: My turn i guess.

IC: Gryfendel roared in joy. Well met Feafnir, its been long since i've met a dragon who has witnessed the arival of the elves. With a playful chuckle he started to hypnotise Cassiopiea.

Eriel panted. Emrhyst will be meeting me soon. She looked at Cassiopiea and was about to answer her question when she stopped, her mouth open in disbelief. She had a faraway look in her eyes and before Eriel knew it a pressure started building up in her head, telling her to do all sorts of silly stuff. She immediately suspected Gryfendel, whose eyes were now green. "Strange... Weren't his eyes blue?" She thought to herself and shook off the pressure.

Gryfendel's eyes started to change back to its original blue. He thought to himself with a chuckle. Well at least we have two people capable of shaking off my hypnosis in under a minute.

Eriel nocked her bow and took aim at Gryfendel.

OOC: yep, I know. pass. let this thing play out a little bit.

Aeraldi flew above, watching the scene play out.
These people seem to have alot of conflict. I wonder if they'll start killing.
For our sake I hope not. You may be extremely well at fighting, but against those odds. We would have a very slim chance.
You underestimate yourself. Thought Aeraldi smiling to himself. You are capable of everything I am, you just need to embrace it as you did before.
Those words hurt Aeraldi deep as he thought of his past. His eye shed a tear for those fallen.
