 The Children of HurinRecently the new book by JRR Tolkein and edited by Christopher Tolkien, was released. It's set in the time when the Great enemy, Morgoth, was still at large, and in a time before hobbits discovered the shire. It's also set in a part of middle-earth that no longer exists in the time of the hobbit and Lord of the Rings. It's a much darker book than The Lord of the Rings, or the hobbit, but its definitely worth a read.

I still havn't gotten this book yet, and I really want it. I have the Hobbit, the LOTR trilogy, the Silmarillion (although I havn't read it yet), and the Book of Lost Tales part one and two (although I havn't read those either).
