In the book Eragon we learn little of Brom. In Eldest we learn that he looked up to Morzan and were he came from, but i think the to biggest things we have learnd about him is that he knew Eragons mother and he had some sort of secret love. There is also the words he tought Eragon. And I know Saphira knows EVERYTHING about Brom now, (at least the important stuff) but she can't tell Eragon untill he is able to handle the information. But the point is I think the biggest secret of Brom (this is only a guess) is Eragon's father.

Most of the facts support it for one why whould Brom stay in Carvahall? of all the places why there if not to watch over his son. The second reason is why whould he answer all of Eragon questions if he was Morzans son (he would have known). Third why whould Saphira hatch for any one but one who is the offspring of one so powerful. And last Brom said he knew Eragons mother so does that mean there relationship could not be like that. Correct me if I am wrong on anything please.

we will moslt likly get most of them but there might be a few still to be revealed that never are.

I believe we do in book 3. Saphira will probably spill out all his secrets.

saphira probably didnt know much more than eragon is.

No she knows more than she is telling Eragon. She flew for 3 days with Brom that would give him plenty of time to explain about what exatly is going on and about him.

I think that CP will somehow make it so that we will have to work out all his secrets ourselves.

i think everything will b explained in the last book, obviously.....Brom kept his secrets to protect Eragon but i think Eragon will b strong enough n Saphira will tell him everything....

Both of your Ideas are good. But I do think some one will tell Eragon more about Brom. The question is who has the knowlge to anwser those Q's, maybe Blagden the Raven?

I don't know about Oromis knowing that Eragon is Brom's son he would have told him by now I think. But you never know that is very likly the person besides Saphira that could tell him that info.

But that couldn't be true ether, Eragon had Zar'roc as his sword at the time.

No we don't so it is posible but I think it will have to do somthing a little more complicated.

It might of been me but i don't know. If Arya has the sword she wouldn't know that she has kept secret Eragon inheritence from him. That would make her feel horible.

That is why I think Saphira will tell Eragon or Oromis could. But to support your idea saphirabrightscale look on page 656, she gives away that she knows alittle more.

o ho Scarecrow, that is a bold statement. Arya more than likely knows more about Eragon and Saphira then even they do (sadly enough). also, I doubt Eragon will ever know all of Brom's secrets. Brom keeps things very close to the vest, and knowing him, probably never told anyone of those darker and more important secrets that he kept. but that is just an idea. we can only know until Empire comes out.

Yes they will all contribute, but I think Saphira will tell Eragon more than anyone. She knows more than anyone in my opinion. Pg 282 of Eragon I don't know his past, but he seems honest enough. Should we go to the Varden now? Only I don't know how to find them. Brom never told us. He told me,said Saphira. Eragon grew angry. Why did he trust you, but not me, with all this knowledge? Her scales rustled over the dry rock as she stood abouve him, eyes profound. After we left Teirm and were attacked by the Urgals, he toldme many things, some of which I will not speak of unless necessary. This is one of the many facts that tells us that Saphira will tell Eragon more.

I don't think Oromis will tell Eragon that Brom is his father, that is something Saphira will explain. Look at page 656 of Eldist it explains why I think that.

aye. it won't b as much of a shock if it come from Oromis or Saphira They are both closer to Eragon than anyone else and if it's something shocking or surprising, Eragon will take it better if it's from one of them.

I don't know I think he will take it well from Angela becaus she has already told him so much about his future and I think she is one of the few to know the truth

That is a awesome Idea but how do you break that into pieces to tell Eragon unless they give hints which Saphira has already done.
