He is sick, but not weak. He may no be able to go into battle but he is till useful and has some power. He was able to shield Eragon from the pain of Durza's injury all the way from Du Weldenvarden. So he's not that weak.

I do not know if you are aware that I am a grandmother with 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Even though I am older perhaps than mostly or maybe even all of you guys, I love the fantasy genre. I love the adventure the romance and I love authors who tell their story but keep you wondering if what they have written in the story is or they are just planting red herrings. So when you mentioned Oromis as old and weak, I as an OLD person (though not as old as Oromis) must defend him.

When I say "do a Murtag on me" I copied the phrase from the Harry Potter Series where it means to turn against someone.

No it's not the same thing. Oison will kill you if you don't have the antidote. Oromis was maimed; he could still do magic and good magic but could not control it.

I believe Eragon, Saphira, Roran and Arya will fly to Helgrind. For some reason I feel that's where the egg is, as the place is impregnable.
They will kill the Ra'zac & their mounts, Rescue Katrina, steal the egg and laugh at Galbatorix.

Again, CP is the author. The first two books are in a time frame of a year or less. It's a matter of waiting to see how he develops the story. Since dragons grow at a fast rate, Saphira will have to be huge to carry the four of them.
