OOC: This is open to anyone, Skolirio talks in red and Zepher in blue. Plus this can go in any direction really i dont have too much planned for this one. Its my first one on this site. So yea join in

A dark figure was walking through the desolate wasteland, accompanied by a huge wolf. The sun was blazing in the sky, it was about mid-day. A heavy gust of wind blew by and picked up large amounts of sand into the air.
" Hey Zeph do you really think a journey out here will help usfind your true name? This is like torture its so hot and bright." at this the man pulled his hat lower almost covering his eyes.
" Come on Skol, you can tough it out. You promised me this journey ya' know. Plus this is good training maybe we willl find someone to fight." Zepher yawned and and turned his face back to the ground in a futile attempt to hid his eyes from the sun.
" Good one, all the way out here, there is nothing for miles."[/color]
So the journey through the desert began. Skol was thinking to himself that they wouldn't be able to stay long out here because they didn't have much water and he was a useless spellcaster.
" Hopefully something turns up soon."
Skolirio and Zepher were walking along the sandy way when they began to see small shrubs and some signs of a nomad tribe. So the friends set out on there way picking up there pace just a little bit. Zepher let out a howl and they began to move at a quick pace to see what this day had in store.

OOC: I'm on my iPod so I can't do the colors but I'll edit it later.

IC:
Skolirio was still continuing his walk to find the nomads. He knew he was getting close because he could begin to sense some of their emotions, it was odd that all these emotions were of excitment and pride. He looked and Zepher and could tell he sensed it too.

Then a sudden mental blast had both Skolirio and Zephyr blocking their minds. But the sensed quickly it wasn't as much as an intrusion as a crying out. Skolirio let the message through. It was a plea for help, an odd one at that. Skolirio sensed it was a dragon, but why would a dragon need help.

" Zeph you thinking we should maybe pick up the pace and see what we can do for this dragon?"
" Yes Skol I do, but you are the one slowing us down not me. "
" Always the jokester eh Zeph. "
So the pair picked up their pace to a quick sprint. Soon they were in site of the nomad camp. And, to prove their assumptions they saw the hulling form of a great a great shining dragon.

Tialgo was wandering in the horrible sand of the Hadarac Desert. He hated snad in was so horrible all rough and uncomfertable. This was probably the only time Tialgo wished Seren, Gornath, or Shraya would give him a ride on thier backs. Still walking uncomfertabley in the horrible sand not nowing where he was going when suddenly a strong voice entered his head yelling. It was a plea for help but from where? Tialgo started to rub his temples. Well it would help if I knew where you were dragon. Tialgo thought to himself. He had been in Alagaesia for a while now and thanks to Kit, Shrya, and Anthor he learned that only Riders, Elves and Dragons talk trough the mind. They tried to teach him how to defend his thoughts but out here in the desert who would need to read his mind? After walking aimlesly Tialgo caught a new sent, A elf and a.... wolf? Tialgo was closly related to the wolf so he quickened his pace. Loagh and behold he was right walking up to what looked like a tribe of nomad humans. The elf looked young and his wolf was white. Was it albino? Tialgo walked up clooser and then a newer sent wafted into his nose the scent of a dragon but this one was diffrent from the rest like not a pure dragon. The dragon looked embarresed and in pain. he couldn't fight his natural instincts, he ran past the elf and wolf and he lit a fire circle around him and the dragon. She was so small just a bit taller them him. "Don't worry I'll get you out of here." Tialgo assured her. Tialgo grabbed the chain that was holding her down and with all his might heateh up his paws so the chain would melt. After about two minutes of concentraton the chain broke in two. He was so tired from the energy lose Tialgo fainted right then and there.

OOC: Okay so ill post then we will wait for dracoestas, then fanghur will go. The order will be me dracoestas then fanghur so things dont get too confusing and people arent left out lol. But it is still open for people to join!

ICC:

As Skolirio and Zephyr got close enough they saw the dragon. It was magnificent, its color was so unique and beautiful. But, it was also very odd in the fact that it was very small.

Out of nowwhere a....wolf.....person.....came running through.

" Friend of yours Zeph? "
" Very funny Skol. "

The wolfthing ran into the midst of the nomads and created a sheild in fire. Then the fire dissapated and the wolfman fell, but the chains were broken.

" Kveyka! " Skolirio roared as he drew his blades and they burned with a blue lightning.

Zepher howled and charged in. Skolirio one step behind rushing into the nomads who were looking in awe towards the dragon. Then some of the onlookers turned to see an elf and a huge white wolf running towards them. They decided to draw their crude blades and clubs and take on the eccentric pair.

Skolirio got ahead of Zephyr and and charged into the fray. One nomad swung high towards his neck. Skol ducked down and cut at the mans calves and as he connected, the man screamed as he felt the burn of the lightning. Two more men rushed in and as Skolirio turned to take them on one was on the ground with the weight of a huge wolf on him. Skolirio turned to the other warrior, who was now charging at him sword high over his head, and Skolirio turned his blade and stabbed right into his stomach. The man fell. Other nomads became more hesitant to attack. But, also the had an angry dragon near them also. Skolirio was staying away from the dragon for the time being and would keep his fighting a good distance from the angry creature.

OOC: So now i believe its fanghur's turn, or someone new either way.

After about ten minutes Tialgo finily woke up weak and tired. The sent of blood flared in his snout. Tialgo rubbed his eyes to see that the nomad people were gone with blood on the sand. "Oh... your welcome Solarae. um.. I'm Tialgo Firepaw. S-Sorry I feel real weak right now." Tialgo told them "I guess I used to much power" He wispered to himself. Tialgo looked up to see the white wolf, and the elf he saw before. "Hello, like I said I'm Tialgo and you are..?" Tialgo trailed off he felt like he needed twelve hours of sleep.

Skolirio dispelled the lightning and sheathed his blades Fate and Justice, and joined the group.
" Well right now we are allies no matter who you side with, but before pleasantries we should set up a camp. You Tialgo need food and rest i will start a camp and put food on the fire then we can talk. But, or right now I am Skolirio and this is my companion Zephyr. "
Turning to the dragon Skolirio said, " And you fine dragon are more than welcome, I am just glad i could help. May i say your color is very beautiful. Would you camp with us i would like to hear your story? "
" Skolirio we need to be careful, we have no idea what these creatures want. Be ready. "
" I know Zeph we will be fine for now, no need to worry like you always do. "
" We always need to worry. "

OOC: So Now its Fanghur then me then Draco.

Tialgo was about to go to sleep when a sudden burst of energy flowed through him. It wasn't a lot but enough to get him to stand and stay awake. "Thank you Solarae." Tialgo looked at the gaint of a wolf Zaphyr, he was tense like he was going to pounce on someone and rip their throat out. Whats wrong wolf? I'm sorry Zaphyr? Tialgo asked in animal tounge. It felt so strange to come out of his mouth he hadn't spoken in it in years. Tialgo eyed him not angry but more curious. Why was he with an elf? How did he get as big as a horse? Why was he a unnatural shade of white? Tialgo turned and looked at Solarae as she told her story. Tialgo stiffened when she asked her question and he tried to block his mind. Tialgo didn't want to share his memorys unless he told them.

Zephyrs ears perked up, did that creature just speak in his language. It made him think about the past and how long it has been since he heard the language. How long its been since he was around someone like him.

" I am Zephyr, and for me being a llittle tensed it is my own reason. Dragons are not my favorite creatures. We have a bad history. You are probably very curious about me I understand. I was transformed into this state by magic. This elf here is my companion, and he saved my life by turning me into what I am. " Zeph replied in his language, and it felt good to speak it.

" Zeph what was that.....what are you guys talking about? You know what tell me later, I will speak with Solarae. " Skol told Zeph.

Skol had never heard Zephyr speak in that language after the change, but he should have guessed he still knew the language. Skolirior was glad Zephyr met this Tialgo, it was good for Zephyr to have a friend that was like him more or less.

" Hello Solarae, I am Skolirio son of none travelling this god forsaken desert in search of my companions true name. We saw signs of the nomad and went off in there direction, then we heard your cry for help and quickened our pace. It looked like we got here just in time. Is your fire disabled? It seems like it could have been useful in the fight. But no matter we have one the day and no one was hurt, well except for maybe some pride. I am glad we could help a dragon, they are good friends to have. You say you came here to fight Galbatorix? This is good for then you are an ally. I am trying to figure out a way to kill the black king. You would be a great ally to have. I spoke these words aloud because i would never dare to enter your mind without invitation. "

Skolirio sat by the dragon giving Zephyr some privacy with the wolfman. He was hoping that at the least Zephyr better find out who's side he is on.

Aryn and Fëanor were walking through the Hadarac Desert, looking for some water, when they saw a few beings far away on the west.
Aryn: "Maybe they know where we can find some water."
Fëanor: "I hope so, or we will dehidrate."
Aryn: He is always so "optimistic"...
After a couple of hours they came to them.
Aryn: Hello, strangers. We were walking through the Desert, looking for some water and we saw you here. Could you tell us where to find it?

OOC: we kind got to wait for draco

Things got clearer. "I can get you water if you UNTIE me!" Danagon grunted, now sitting on a log. Magic was returning to him, but he wanted to store his energy. He looked at the other. "Anyone? Please? C'mon!" Danagon was getting rather angry.

OOC: Okay ill go and ARya can go but then we really got to wait.

Skolirio turned to one of the nomad tents to see a rider he met recently. Andep was his dragon if he could recall correctly, why was he here without his dragon, drugged nonetheless.

" Your name is Danagon, correct? And you are the rider of Andep. Where is your dragon? And why are you out here drugged? "
Skol walked over and untied Danagon. Then sat a few feet away.

Then he turned to the two other newcomers. One was an elven woman and the other was a large black panther. Wow Skol thought to himself two friends for Zeph in one day.

Aryn looked at the tied man* on the floor.
"Why is he tied?" she asked. "Well we are really thirsty so ... Please Danagon or whoever you are - tell this guy what he want to know so i can untie you ... But do it fast because we're looking for water for whole day..."
She looked at the elf with a giant wolf.
What did that man on the floor do to him? And can he really give us some water?
Fëanor carefully walked to the wolf and he started walking around him.
I think he is not an enemy, thought Fëanor.
Aryn sat on the floor and look from Danagon to the elf.

"What's with the party?" Wil called. He saw a few he recognized, and more that he didn't. He trudged through the sand, his dark cloak billowing out around him. He approached the group and stood there, letting the situation sink in. He turned to Skolirio, with whom he associated best at the moment. "They'll probably run to the shade. If they do, we'll have quite a fight on our hands. Should we leave or stay to fight the Savior of the Sands?" He mentioned the shade by his renowned title only to see if any eyebrows raised.

OOC: I believe draco is typing at the moment.....then i will go because wil spoke to skol pretty much and then we willl sift it out from there

Solarae grinned at the newcomers, the recently discovered Danagon and the newly arrived elf and panther. Yo. Name's Solarae, to you two. What'r yours? Oh, and hi, Danagon. I actually saw them put you in that tent, but I guess I forgot you were in there, sorry, she said apologetically.

Skol, any enemy of Galbatorix is a friend of mine, so I'm glad to say I am indeed your ally. Feel free to talk in my mind, it's not like you're getting in the important parts. Heh heh. My fire was taken by some spell of theirs, and it's a real shame 'cause I have awesome firepower, not to brag or anything. It's just a fact, she said with a laugh. She knew full well that she was boasting on purpose, but it was true that her powers of flame were very impressive.

Ah, I think it might be coming back now, she said excitedly and spat out a few bursts of fire. Whoo! Couple more minutes and I'll be back to my old self! she cried enthusiastically to no one in particular.

Just then, another newcomer arrived. Hey, hows it going? If you're talking about a fight, there is no way I'd back out. Just show me the enemy and they'll be defeated before they can say "what the heck is that leaping at my face?", she exclaimed to Wil, who she didn't know yet.

OOC: Ayeek!!! Yes I am typing and you people keep posting so that I can't post!!! Ah!

Skol looked to the great dragon, and listened to her. She said He was alowed to speak t her mentall which he was glad he could no do, talking to a dragon out loud is odd.

Then Skolirio heard a noise behind him. He turned to see a companion of his.

" Wil!?...Why are you out here? Not that I'm not glad to see another person I have met before. Have you been tracking the shade? "

Skolirio turned to the crowd and spoke.

" This shade is somehwhat of a god to these nomads. They call him a savior. We need to track down and kill this beast. "

Skolirio turned back to Wil.

" Well it seems like we get to fight another shade together. They are such pests, " Skolirio chuckled to himself, " And you might remember Danagon, ya know the one that always ends up unconciouss. "

Skolirio looked towards the dazed Danagon.

" I'm joking don't worry Danagon, but seriously where is Andep? "

OOC: one quick little post here

"Yes, I've been tracking him. This damned monster has been a tough one to catch, let me tell ya." Wil replied to Skol. He then turned to the dragon who spoke to him. "Cry your pardon, great dragoness, but are we not talking about the same shade that took your fire before?"

OOC: sorry it's short, the next one will be longer, i promise.

OOC: We need aorian and fanghur to post soon or we are gonna get to far ahead of the rest of the group

Skolirio laughed with Danagon because everything they both said was true.

" Yea your right, i remember that. Atleast i wasn't the one passed out, so I'm okay with it. And thats good for Andep, what are your plans. I do remember an elven woman. "

Skoliri remebered Danagon's infatuation with seheit and was wondering how that went.

" Seems like we got another shade problem, and I do owe you right now cause you saved me so get into trouble so I can repay my debt. "

Skol laughed and was happy this group he was in was gonna be fun, and any shade would be destroyed by sheer numbers right now.

"Oh, thanks," said Aryn and she shared her water with Fëanor. She used some magic on it, to see, if it is poisoned (she doesn't trust to anyone, remember?)
When they drunk it they both felt much better.
"My name is Aryn," she said to the dragon, "and this is my friend, Fëanor."
"I can speak for myself," said Fëanor to Aryn with anger in his voice.
Aryn rolled with her eyes and waited to hear what he has to say.
"We are traveling all along Alagaësia. And may I ask who are you, mighty dragon?" he said.

OOC: aorian, is danagon untied now or not yet?

ooc: He is untied. Andep is on his way here. When he feels Danagon's conciousness he will probably be frightened and go at the speed of sound ha ha

Skolirio was brought out of his laughter by the jet of flame. It was really rather powerful.

" Gorgues fire you have there Solorae. "

Skolirio walked over to the dragona and surveyed her.

" You are a very eccentric dragon Solarae. You color and body shap are very somewhat undragonlike. "

OOC: Sorry short. I feel like this rp is dying

"Pleasure to meet you, Solarae," said Fëanor and Aryn agreed.
They sat on the sand for a little longer and at sunset she said.
"It was nice to talk with you guys, we haven't seen a talking being since Du Weldenvarden, two weeks ago, but we have to go now. It is long way to the Beor Mountains. Hope to see you again some day ... Farewell!"
Fëanor swinged with his tail for goodbye. Aryn stood up and they went away, towards the mountains.

OOC: i think this rp officially died...

OOC: Yeah, no backbone to the story. Nothing like Secrets of the Dark Forest, where we can't sit down and be normal for 5 minutes without one of us being controlled by evil, having Galbratorix take over our mind, have a Shade attack us, fall in love, let jealousy overwhelm us, have Saheit leave Danagon, or turn our eyes black =D

OOC: Mwahaha! Dead no longer! I have an idea!

IC: Why, thank you, Skol. I am pretty eccentric for a dragon, aren't I? Well, as long as I've got my firepower, I'm good, Solarae replied happily to Skolirio. She watched as Aryn and Feanor turned to leave.

Leaving already? If you stick around, something's bound to happen. Something always happens when I'm around. If it doesn't by itself, then I make something happen, heh heh, she said. Just as the words left her mouth, the ground began shaking slightly. See? she said with a cocky grin when it stopped. The sound of drums suddenly began to play, but it was very muffled and distant-sounding.

Well, now if we just ignored that, then nothing would happen. However, I'm gonna go check that out. By doing that, I will make something happen, so I was right, she said confidently as she began trotting off in the direction of the low noise.

Aryn and Fëanor stopped, when the ground began to shake. They turn around and Aryn said: "What the heck is this? Why is everything shaking?" She looked at the Solarae.
Aryn took her blades out and quickly ran to the noise with Fëanor beside her.
