eragon has 0 chance anyways. he doesn't want to be king OF THE EMPIRE. he doesn't have a chance with the knurln. Well, they would be boring. They aren't the best characters and they weren't really supposed to do anything besides protect Eragon and to educate him in the Dwarven gods.

All of the dwarven clans vote, including those Tear peoples who hate everyone and walk around in veils. They saw Orik with Eragon, so they must hate him too. What about that?

that is where my uncertaincy stems from. but now that Hrothgar was killed by a rider, it's gonna get even WORSE for Eragon, and in turn, maybe Orik.

Orik will become KIng, he's the only other character in the book we know about, CP wouldnt add a completely new character as the king, he would have to do the hole Orik thing again, whereas if it is Orik then ppl will know what to expect and Eragon will still have a firk and relieble friendship wiv the Dwarves!!! if it isnt orik the new king mite rebel against Ergaon and tht wouldnt be good!!

i don't think you know exactly what CP wants. it wouldn't be good, but if CP wants hostility, it won't be Orik.

I think the hostility would be a good twist in the book. Because most people expect Orik to be the next king.

i think orik will be king, but only for a short time, then someone else will take over and orik will go to some really powerful position

know that could not mean anything but eragon is practically saying to the dwarves that orik is important and in favour with one who isnt always in favour
