It's forthold that "someone" should rise again, we are not sure it will be Brom... But it's a good pronostic I think. And it would be great to see Jeremy Irons again in the third movie!!

I think it will be the original Eragon not brom cause he is not powerfull enough and it just doesn't seem right.

It's really possible. This character was very important, for he tought Eragon on his very first steps in magic world, but he really didn't last very long... It's strange.

I think its Roran. Why you might ask? Because Morzan is Eragons and Murtaghs father. Eragon and Murtagh are both riders now. So since Roran is related to them, don't you think it will be him?

If you're going by Rider blood, Roran has no corralation to Morzan, Murtagh, and Eragon unless there is something about Selena we have not been told.

My top choices for the next Rider:
1) Arya ~ I want a girl rider, and she's got green magic for the green egg
2) Elva ~ there is some significance to her Dragon mark, but personally I think she'll have a purple dragon later on (next generation)
3) Nasuada ~ Hehe. Mine are all girls. Nazuada is human, like Murtagh and Eragon, and she is a strong female leader. Not a bad choice for a Rider.

Brom or Eragon I would have been cool, but how can Greeny ever hope to replace their lost Dragons? To me, that goes against the basic principles of the Dragon and Rider bond.

These are the possible riders could be

-The next Rider may be Arya, and her dragon (likely green) may become Saphira's mate. This may create the additional impetus necessary for Eragon and Arya to become romantically involved as well.

-The next rider could be Nasuada, as of the fact that she is leader of the Varden and a formidable force in her own right, and her dragon and Saphira may mate.

-The new Dragon may be hatched to the son of Eragon and Arya. This seems highly unlikely, as the green dragon will be featured on the cover of the third book, and it does not seem probable that Arya and Eragon will even marry, let alone have children by the end of the book.

-Roran will be the third Dragon Rider because Eragon is in the middle, Murtagh is the Eldest and as Roran and Eragon are distant relatives they all might possess royal blood.

-Both Eragon and Murtagh are the sons of Morzan, who was a powerful, albeit evil, Dragon Rider. Dragons chose to hatch for both the sons, and now they have both become Riders. It therefore makes sense if the third Rider for whom the last (and presumably green) dragon will hatch will be the descendant of a Rider. The only old Dragon Riders we know are the king, Morzan, Brom and Oromis, and apart from Morzan it is not known if any of the others had children. The last Rider may be an entirely new character if it follows the pattern of Morzan's sons, or it may be an existing character with no blood ties to the old order of Riders.

-Elva may become the next Rider, as she will obviously play a major role in "Empire" and we have yet to see what that role may be.

or. there could be a third sibling of Morzan. and he or she could get the last dragon.

Maybe oromis has a secret child? He is the only other main living rider. Just a strange idea...

I dont believe he would bring the whole town to find the razzac lol. So Roran isnt staying true to his word, and when he is leaving with eragon to find the razac its a good chance that he will leave that commitment behind.

Or maybe he does drag the whole of carvahall along, like a little army! They probably wouldnt like him for that though!

I think that brom is in the vault of souls and then fuses his powers with eragons and eragon becomes REALLY REALLY strong

No, Ajihad's "right-hand-man" was Jormundor. Jorsha was, I don't have any evidence, cp didn't make it very clear, I beleive, Jormundor's son. In the first book he said something about he wouldn't see his wife and SON killed by Urgals. Notice he mentioned a son. And what about VANIR?

He seemed so nice, he would be a kind, gentle, and wise Dragon Rider. A smaller version of Eragon, only not so... Someone give me a word to use.

I have considered it. But wouldn't it still be nice for it to be Jorsha? After all, Eragon and Arya have forever ( literally ) to work on their "little" problem.

Jorsha seems more likely than Arya because Arya has to many responsbilitys and plays a diffrent part in the book. But thats what I think.

I dont think it's possible to have 2 dragons. Thats like stretching a grocery bag to fit an oven. It would just rip his mind apart. Unless, the person boarding the ship was Nasuada, which i highly dbout, then thats arya and her dragon. Also, the people they mentioned with silver hair are obviouslty the elves, so it makes sense that its arya. Besides, only the elves know2 the seas. and they are probobly there to lead the way.
