It makes the person feel the pain of a knife going into their heart and the blade being twisted in the wound. It is a slow and horrible death, which no one should have to endure.

Character Personality: Dusk is a very independent.He is probably the only rider that can stand being away from his dragon for a long period of time. Now Dusk only trusts one person his dragon Dawn. So no one should really trust him. When it comes to friends Dusk might have one for awhile but then he might betray him. Dusk is a smart guy, though people shouldn't trust him he has a way to make people trust him. Without Dusk Galbatorix would have never been able to take over the land. He thinks Galbatorix isn't fit to rule the land so he plans on betraying his long time friend and take over himself. Like I said Dusk isn't the type of person you should trust with your life, because one day he ight literaly stab you in the back. Dusk is a cold fellow who only cares for the wellbeing of himself and his dragon. He torchers his enemies, he makes thenm endure horrible amounts of pain before giving them their eternal reward. Fighting is one of Dusk's favorite things. While fighting he will kill basicaly kill anything that comes near him. Dusk enjoys to see people in pain why? Because he is a sick little monkey. I Dusk says something take it seriously. He isn't the joke type of person. He never smiles, and if he ever does its one of those evil smiles. Dusk hates the way Dawn is so social, though at times he may hate her underneath all that he loves Dawn from the bottom of his heart.

Character History: Dusk was born in the town of Gil'Ead. He lived a normal life, his father was a blacksmith so they offten spared together. Dusk was taking one of his daily early morning walks when he tripped over something. It looked to be a large golden stone. Dusk picked it up and continued to walk. When the sun started to rise the stone started to shake and crack. A little baby dragon came out of the stone which happened to be an egg. When the sun rose the baby dragon's scales shinned like gold. "Wow, you shine like the dawn." Dusk said to the dragon. When he said 'dawn' the dragon started to jump up and down and chirp like a bird. Dusk laughed* at the dragon, "So you like that huh? Okay your name is now Dawn." Dusk said as he picked up the dragon and started to walk home. Dusk showed his parents Dawn and they very proud. A week later the two set out for the elven capital Ellsmera. Along their way they met a boy who was also going to Ellsmerafor training. Dawn introduced Dusk to the boy whos name was Galbatorix. The two finialy made it to Ellsmera after a couple of months. Dusk went to train under ebrithil Oromis and ebrithil Glader. while Galbatorix trained under someone else. After months of training Galbatorix finialy gained his rider sword, he ran up to Dusk and said "Dusk! Dusk! Check out my new sword! Hey me and a couple of the guys were going up to the Spine to test them out do you wanna come?" Dusk didn't even turn around when he said "Sorry, I'm busy."Dusk went off towards the elven blacksmith Rhunon's house so she could make his sword. After a few hours Rhunon finished his sword. Weeks past and Galbatorix never returned which made Dawn anxious. Dusk simply told her to relax and that he can take care of himself. Months past and the Elders thought Dusk and Dawn were strong enough to become teachers for new riders. During his promoting Galbatorix came in demanding for a new dragon. The Elders declined his demand. The next day Galbatorix told Dusk of his plans, all Dusk said was "Have fun with that." Years past and Dusk and Dawn stayed in Ellsmera ignoring everything that Galbatorix did. One day they decided to travel to Uru'bean. Dusk chuckled at what he saw: a large dark castle in the middle of the city. "Never though he'd get this far. Well if you can't beat 'em." Dusk entered the castle and killed any of the guards that tried to stop him. When they finialy reached the throne room Dusk along with Dawn walked up to Galbatroixand said "Well, well, well its been awhile Galby. I see you got a new dragon." "Yes, his name is Shurikan. Now what are you doing here Dusk?" Galbatorix said standing up. "Well I got bored and I decided to join your little kingdom." Dusk said putting his hands behind his head. "Well then welcome my friend." Galbatorix said. Time went on and eventualy Dusk became Galbatroix's right hand man. After watching Galbatorix rule Dusk thinks that he isn't fit to be king. Eventualy Dusk plans on to betray him and take over hmself.
*NOTE: this was probably the last time he really laughed he has an evil chuckle here and there but not a laugh.

Weapons: [i]Nervena[/i]- which means Quick Blade in the ancient language. This swords is light and it swings easy which makes it quick hence the name. Nervena is a golden color with a ruby in the pommel just like the color of his eyes. The sword is curved which is rare in a rider's sword, its basic shape is like that of a katana.

Likes: being alone sometimes, fighting, power.

Dislikes: having to many people around him, stupid people.

Character's Physical Description: Dusk is about five 6'3". He has black hair with red eyes. His outfit is hard to describe its much like Cloud's from Kingdom Hearts though most of it is black. He always has his sword at his side. Because he is a rider Dusk has elven features like pointed ears. He is usually leaning against a wall alone. His skin has a light tan on it. Dusk's hair is spiky and over his face. He always has a blank serious look on his face. He has the gedwëy ignasia on his left palm, because left-handedness is traditionally a sign of wickedness.

History: About five hundred years ago two wild dragons laid an egg. Eventually the egg came into the possession of a boy by the name of Dusk. The dragon hatched during a sunrise and her scales shinned like the morning sun, which is how she got her name Dawn. While on their way to Ellsmera Dawn introduced Dusk to a boy named Galbatroix. Those two eventualy became friends which made Dawn happy. When Galbatroix dissapeared for months Dawn became very worried she though something horrible happened to them (she was right.) After Galbatorix returned it wasn't the same person she had been friends with for so long. Though she followed her rider and joined him in his take over.

Personality: Dawn is probabably the exact opposite of Dusk(lol). She is very social which sometimes upsets Dusk. Making friends is extremly easy because she is so nice all the time. Dawn is like that preppy girl inschool that just wants everybody to be happy. Now that only thing that makes Dawn like Dusk is when she is fighting. Though she doesn't like to fight when she does Dawn becomes extremly dangerous. Though Dawn and Dusk may fight and disagree she loves him with all her heart.

Colour: golden yellow

Appearance: Dawn is a large dragon. Her wing span is well over a hunred feet. From head to tail she is abot ninty feet. She has two large dark horns growing from the top of her head, witch match the dark spikes growing from her neck down along her back. Her teeth are seraded like a sharks so she can rip though almost anything. Dawn's scales glow in the morning sun she looks like she is made of pure gold.
