Phal watched Voenth as he walked away, very worried for him. She could see his pent-up rage and pain in his every movement, and she knew it would show itself physically some way or another. She turned back to the demon, knowing that it was more important at the moment.

Phal entered its mind, forcing herself against the barrier that still held strong. Allow me into your mind, demon-beast, or you will suffer, she demanded, with a little pain of her own. Despite this creature's inherant evillness, she didn't want to cause it unecessary pain and suffering. But to stop this evil, it might have to be done.

OOC: I don't know what you have planned for the rituals and the townspeople's stuff, so could you tell me or have Phal send Voenth the information she gets (but actually you say everything when he gets it)? That way you can pick what the demon knows.

IC:
Voenth listened closely when Phalynx relayed the information to him, she said,

The ritual only happens ever so often. Ever since the death of our origional leader, which was our cause of decline, we have been up here, living in small villages, gathering our strength. We ar enoww ready to re-enter the land of Alagaesia. We are now powerful enough to invade and re-take the lands we once had. Our leader, the woman who captured the elf, is a witch, and the wife of our former leader. She is now more powerful than any other of our kind. She is tied to the rituals, as well as the creatures which come after the rituals. She can control them mind and body, and even see through them. That is why she is our leader. Our final ritual will occur in exactly two days, when that happens, we shall invade the forest of Du Wledenvarden, take it, then move on to the Empire, then attack the Beor Mountains, once that is finished, we will move to the islands then to the lands that are to the far East.

Voenth gasped when he heard this. This was not only a problem to Phalynx and him, but to the whole land. He said to Phalynx, Stay there, and kill him, if she can see through them, then she soon will find you, I will be back soon, I have to get something. said the elf mentally to the silvery dragon as he snuck quietly into the town. He saw a burly man with a large black blade ... Rathur'gata. Af a wolf, Voenth crept up silently behind him, then leapt. He bit the man's thorat, leaving him dead wioth a severed jugular veil, as well as a broken neck, there was no sound at all, other than the snapping of the man's neck. Voenth took the sword and fled the city.

OOC: Thank you.

IC: Phal continually forced her mind to stab into the demon's, giving him mental pain and making him confess all sorts of things. She relayed everything to Voenth as well. She grew more and more apprehensive as information was revealed, and became worried as the demon said that they planned to invade her homeland. Phal hissed and had to restrain herself from killing it with her teeth. Don't worry, Voenth. I will fly up to my little hiding place and await your return. If the witch and the demons come here, I will be gone. Please keep yourself safe, my friend. We have to stop these things, she replied. She had gotten all the information she could, and lunged forward, sinking her teeth into the demon's neck. She watched as it choked on its own blood and died, feeling a little disgust at her own satisfaction.

She shook her head. I have no right to feel bad about making that thing suffer. It and the others want my friends and family to suffer and die, and I will torture all of them to the point of insanity before I allow that to happen, she growled to herself reassuringly. She walked to an open area and jumped into the air, soaring higher and higher. Soon she would be safe, but she noted regrettfully that she still needed some sleep.

OOC: Any time, lol.

IC:
Voenth slunk quietly about, nudging the minds of the dogs to go in the direstion opposite of him, back toward the city and finally made it back to the relative safety of the forest. Voenth sighed in relief. He morphed back into an elf and carried the heavy sword behind him. Any weapon is better than none. thought the elf as he walked. He walked deeper and deeper into the forest and finally reached the grove which had the demon. He smiled when he saw the beast, dead. He cutit down and put leaves and other brush and stuff on top of the body to hide it and ran past the place where Phalynx had slept a few days earlier, and even went further. He had something to do, something important...

OOC: Have Phalynx not see him please, I have a good idea, lol.

OOC: Sure thing.

IC: Phal circled around in the sky above the empty lands near the town. She could see the lights, burning dimly in the distance. The demons would surely be lurking both in the town and outside it, ready to kill what they found. She frowned at their bloodthirstiness.

As she continued to fly, her eyelids began to droop. Phal had to jerk herself awake several times, only to find herself several feet lower in flight. She was feeling very sleepy, and her exhaustion was getting to her. Ugh. I need to sleep... she thought, shaking her head. I'm going to find a spot to sleep, Voenth, she called out sleepily, only feeling his mind long enough to relay her message. She drifted lower, heading towards a cave she could see in the distance. It had been cut off from the rest of the caves, and had only two entrances. Perfect for sleeping. Phal landed tiredly on the dusty ground and crept inside, sinking to the ground out of sight from the entrance and falling asleep quickly.

OOC: I said "woman", not women. I was talking about the witch, lol.

IC:
Voenth listened to the dragon and said, "No. She has something of mine, and I will get her, even if I have to chase her across the great sea, and to foreign lands, I will find, and I will kill her, and I will take Let'hjartha back. She shall have my heart no more!" said the elf who had just noticed that he was screaming dementedly. He gave Phalynx and the goblins a reassuring smile and said, "Now, we need to finish getting ready for the fight tonight, I will tell you now, it is likely not all of you, or that any of you, or us for that matter will come back, so I would like to thank you for staying, but if you wish, you have every chance to leave, including you, Phalynx. I cannot, because I have business to finish." said the elf solemnly.

OOC: Whoops, my bad. I edited.

IC: Phal frowned as Voenth assured that he wanted to be the one to take care of the witch. She drew back, alarmed, as he started to scream. She shook her head when he caught himself. Voenth, are you sure you should be the one to deal with her? Are you really... up for it? I don't think you should go in there alone, she replied worriedly, watching her friend closely. She didn't want him alone for two reasons. One because she didn't want him to get hurt, and two because... in the state of mind he had over the woman, would he do something he might regret later on? Phal wasn't sure, so she vowed to keep an eye on him if he went in.

OOC: Umm, which friend are you talking about, the goblin, or Voenth? after you answer, I will edit.

OOC: Voenth. She doesn't know the goblin's in the house, yet.

OOC: Ok then, but Voenth kind of is hurt, lol, he is bleeding from his head, lol.

IC:
Voenth was tired, more than he would have thought possible, fighting a normal human. The witch had all the speed, strength, and agility of an elf. He did not want to turn the fight into a wizards duel, but he was running out of options. Let'hjartha's keen edge did not dull, and it was lighter as well as longer then Rathur'gata, giving her the advantage. He frowned at the woman and castd a spell, all the while, attacking her mind. He felt the walls around her mind begin to give away, but just as he thought he would win, he was attacked by as powerful a mind as he had ever seen. The woman swarmed his defences, and nearly broke him, however the small part of his mind which held the memories of Bascth, as well as Braith held strong. Voenth, from there fought back, re-taking his mind and pushing forward, into her mind.

OOC: Well, not hurt badly. Phal would expect him to have a few nicks and bruises. lol

IC: Phalynx kept her wings close to her body, in a triangular shape for a swift but well-controlled dive. When she was just above the building, she flared them out, catching the wind roughly and flapping hard to slow her sudden descent. She hit the roof of the building hard with the force of her fall, and bits of wood flew from under her sharp claws. She reared up briefly, keeping her wings outstretched for balance on the precariously slippery roof, and then pounced down. She dug at the roof with her powerful claws, not wanting to burn it away for fear of starting an uncontrollable fire. Soon, she had a wide hole that exposed a room and part of the hallway of the top floor. Voenth and the witch were just one floor lower, directly beneath her. She folded her wings and jumped into the gap to the carpeted floor below. Her talons scored large furrows in the rather delicate planking, and she began to tear that up as well.

OOC: Any more ideas, or will we wrap this RPG up?

IC:
Voenth sat up when he saw Phalynx. He said, "Yes, there has beena lot of evil here in the past, but now, it is gone. However, I hope they don't let this goblin to be the head of them because she would be a lot like the with, I mean look at her, shes fearsome." said Voenth to the old goblin nurse who wheeled about and shoved him back into the bed hard. She said, "Yousa no makes fun of me. Is been here alla time, keepin yousa alive, so yousa better be thankful Gurma takted tha time to heal ya." said the goblin nurse as she walked out of the small house briskly. Voenth looked at Phalynx and said, "I think she is mad." then broke out into an uncontrollable laugh.

Phal gave a nod of agreement when Voenth began speaking. When he spoke of his goblin nurse, the dragoness gave her a sidelong glance. After the nurse snapped at the elf, she snorted, and started making a few choking sounds in an attempt to conceal her laughter. When the goblin made her exit, she looked at Voenth, barely able to restrain herself. However, his next comment proved far too much for her self-control, and she burst out laughing as well. Her draconic laughter was rather loud and vibrational, but there were few sounds more mirthful. Well, mad she may be, but she did do a good job with you, my friend. And these goblins seem a peaceful folk, if a bit superstitious. They should run this land quite well, Phal finally said, her laughs dying down into small chuckles, and her eyes sparkling with good humor.

OOC: Hrm. I don't have any ideas at the moment.

"Yes, they should do quite well, especially since all the demons are dead, and the fact that it is so very hard to get here, Galbatorix should also leave them alone. Meaning, this could be a golden age for these goblins here. I think it is time we left them. We have no part in this world, at least as long as ours is still under the threat of Galbatorix, not to mention the hundreds of other evils in our lands, I just hope we can do the job as efficiently as these, the goblins have." said the elf as he silently walked over to the corner of the house and put his sandals on, grabbed a walking stick, and placed Let'jartha and Rathur'gata in their holders. He pulled the hood of his white cloak over his face and looked at Phalynx and smiled. He said, "We have been gone too long, I will make my own way back, and I am sure you have many things that you must do back in Alagaesia. By the way, I have two friends with me." said the elf as he held Sera's eldunari, as well as Bascth's eldunari in his hands. He said, "They are in a self induced coma'like state. I figured I would eventually need them. Here, for the trip back." said the elf as he drew some energy from the eldunari and sent some to Phalynx, then sent some to himself. Then he said, "We better leave soon, the goblins don't like guests to leave like this, but I fear they will never let me go otherwise." said the elf as he waved a 'goodbye' and slipped out the back door and ran through the woods, back to his home, back to his dragon, and back to his friends.

IC: Phal smiled at Voenth and nodded, knowing that the future of these goblins was a bright one, at least for as long as she could guess. Anything could happen, especially as more time passed. That thought made her turn her mind back to Alagaesia; back to home. Indeed. It is time to help our homeland. It is nice to do a few good deeds elsewhere, but in the end our obligation always lies with the place we call home, she said, her smile growing, as she looked into the sky. I expect we'll see each other again quite soon, Voenth. May your feet be swift, and may the stars watch over you, she added, spreading her wings as the elf gave her some energy from the Eldunari he carried. She beat them softly once, stirring up a cloud of dust, and then again, much harder, causing her to lift into the air. She flew away like a silver comet, carried by the winds to Alagaesia; her home.
