 Eragons Visions/ PremonitionsSo far Eragon has had visions of Arya when she was imprisoned in Gil'ead and a premonition of the battle at the Burning Plains, and of course his first vision of the two people getting on a boat with the two dragons in the sky. I was just wondering if anybody else was wondering if Eragon would have any more visions or premonitions in the third book, and if so what do you think they would be?

i dnt kno....if something is going to happen to 1 of the main characters e.g. Arya, Saphira etc, he could av a promotion n save them at the last second..... or he may have a promption telling him of Galby's weakness even tho we al readi kno 1 of thm (that he n Shruikan are not joined in the same way Eragon and Saphira are)

He had one in Eldest on page. 146 in the chapter called Down the Rushing Mere-Wash

I think that Eragon will have several more vision's because they have played a big role in the books so far.

If there is going to be a premonition it will most likely come to him at the beginning of the book so that by the end when you've forgotten it it will come back to haunt him or something like that. So far that has happened with all the premonitions so far. (Arya in the cell isn't a premonition as his spirit connected with Arya's to form a type of scying... or so my theory is). If anything it will be Galbatorix summoning up his eternal wealth of power to crush the Varden.

You might be right but there still is that chance that he might have one in the third book, I think this because he has not fully understoud the premonitions he has had. So he might find something important out from a premonition, like who the next rider whould be or it might give him a chance to steel the next egg. You never know but I don't think the premonitions are over.

Re: Eragons Visions/ Premonitions I agree with Aeraldi and Rien. I think that he will have a vision or premonition at the beginning of the book. It will probably be about the next rider or the final battle. Who knows maybe he will have more than one.
But I'm wondering how he is going to have them since all the others came while he was sleeping. Re: Eragons Visions/ Premonitions He does sleep, lol. It explains that he sleeps shallower, he is still aware of his surroundings and gets lots of vivid dreams and wakes more easily and gets up earlier like the elves...

"The moment the sun appeared over the tree-lined horizon, Eragon deepened his breathing, willed his heart to quicken, and opened his eyes as he returned to full awareness. He had not been asleep, for he had not slept since his transformation. When he felt weary and lay himself down to rest, he entered a state that was unto a waking dream. There he beheld many wonderous visions and walked among the gray shades of his memories, yet all the while remained aware of his surroundings." He doesn't sleep, but it does say that he has 'wonderous visions'. I don't think those count because if they were any use to the story plot then we would know about them. Re: Eragons Visions/ Premonitions He has to go back. His training isn't done and he gave his word to Oromis that he would come back. But that would be interesting if he had it while he was with Oromis.
