Skills: Swordsmanship: Melanthor forced her to find a swordsmaster to teach her the art of blades not long after he hatched. Lee herself never understood the need for banging sharp metal objects against each other to solve problems, so she only uses this skill when she absolutely has to. (Which is a good thing, 'cause she's not very diligent about practicing, so her skills aren't that great.)

Magic: This skill is more Lee's style. Even before she bonded with Melanthor, she was quite the accomplished spellcaster (for a human) and after they bonded, she became even more powerful. She prefers spells that heal rather than maim, but the last thing you want to do is underestimate her fighting abilities.

Crush: This is a rather unusual ability she has, and quite frankly, it disgusts her. Whenever she's truly frightened, she has the tendency to crush whatever's frightening her. Since she learned of the ability, she's been able to infer that it's closely related to telekinesis, but for some reason she can't use it willingly, and has therefore been unable to master it. The reason it disgusts her is that it literally crushes whatever she's afraid of. (Particularly nasty when it's something alive, like a dog...)

Character Personality: Lee is very laid back and gentle. She prefers to think things through, rather than act rashly. The problem with this is that she tends to overthink things, which means she ends up either overreacting or not doing anything at all. She's a very calm and centered person, which makes her the perfect person to listen to other people's problems and try to help them. What annoys her though is that a lot of the time, nobody wants to hear her troubles, not even the people she's helped. Her favorite things to do are just sit and listen to the world going by. Somebody that doesn't know her would describe her as lazy, whereas she would describe herself as very observant. Melanthor more often than not has to force her to get up and train. If he didn't, she would be very out of shape and easy prey for those who would seek her power for their gain. Lee hardly ever gets truly angry, she's afraid of what she might do if she ever did. When she does get angry, she hides it very well, choosing to act calm and cool instead of hot and bothered. The only fights she's ever been in are the one's she couldn't talk her way out of, or one's that someone else started. It's generally a good idea to leave her alone when she's mad so she can cool off.

Character History: Lee was born to her mother out of wedlock. Her father was the leader of their village and loved her mother very much, but because of his responsibilities he couldn't marry her. The only people that knew Lee was Torodian's daughter were Lee and her parents. All of Lee's life, the people in her village treated her and her mother like second class citizen's because her mother had a child and had never been married. But nobody could guess how important this woman and her child would be to their village.
When Lee was sixteen years old, a large band of raiders attacked and in the first few moments of the assault, Torodian was killed. Lee's mother was killed trying to reach his body. When Lee saw the bodies of her dead parents, she snapped. Her vision flashed black for a few seconds, and when she could see again she wished she couldn't. The raiders had all been crushed to death, like they had suddenly all fallen off of a very high cliff. She saw the disgusting sight and knew that it had something to do with her. The village was saved, but the people in it knew that she had some strange, malevolent power and they shunned her, even though she was alone now that her mother was gone.
After a few months she grew tired of the frightened, accusing looks and she left the village. She had been on the road for a few months when she decided to stop for the night beside a lonely lakeshore. As she was setting up camp, a rabid wolf leaped at her from the bushes. Once more her vision flashed and when she could see again, she threw up. This time the force of the Crush had been even greater. All of the bones in the wolf's body, even it's teeth, had been ground into dust. She packed up and walked away.
She walked for days, not even stopping to sleep. She couldn't get the image of the raiders and the wolf out of her mind. She was so blinded by the horrible sights that she didn't even notice the dragons until she walked right into one. Lee was startled by the giant, glittering creatures, but even more so when one (a bluish-purple female) pushed her towards a lone egg sitting on a rock. Bemused, Lee surmised they wanted her to touch the egg, so she did. The egg was a beautiful shade of purple and rather heavy looking. As soon as she touched it, she knew why she had come here. She hadn't been walking aimlessly. The egg had been drawing her here, to this place. It was as she realized this that the egg moved.
She stepped back to watch it, and a few minutes later the egg hatched. Lee looked upon the small purple hatchling and knew what to do. She reached out her right hand, and the hatchling touched it's snout to her palm. Lee fell over as pain washed through her body and when it passed she looked at the Gedwey Ignasia on her palm. She named the hatchling Melanthor.
They stayed with Melanthor's family for a few years and after his father deemed he was ready to go out into the world, they left. The pair have been traveling ever since.

Weapons: A plain sword with a two-handed hilt and a blade of average length sheathed on her left hip. She also has two small knives attached to her forearms that are hidden by her shirtsleeves. Obviously her most dangerous weapon would be the Crush, but she refuses to use it. (Like that does her any good, since she has no control over it.)

Appearance: Lee is rather tall for a girl, standing 5'10" tall. Her brown hair is long and thick. She prefers to wear it loose, but will tie it up if the wind is blowing it in her face. Her eyes are a very serious shade of brown, but always have a vacant look in them, as if she were pondering matters of the deepest sort. Most of the time she wears a long-sleeve white shirt with an over-large brown jacket over it. She wears black pants with calf-high black boots. The only jewelry she owns is a silver ring with an amethyst set between two small diamonds, it was created for her by Melanthor's mother after he hatched for her.

Character Personality: For Lee's sake, Melanthor developed a more excitable and energetic personality. If he didn't keep her motivated and moving, she would be content to sit and watch the world pass by. It exasperates him to no end and he never hesitates to tell her so. He tries to be patient, like his father taught him, but it's hard when all she does is sit around. He loves to be moving and doing something, and gets bored very easily.

Character History: Melanthor was born into a small, nomadic tribe of dragons that have long had the practice of presenting random travelers to their eggs to see if any had the makings of a Rider. It was this practice that brought Melanthor, and his sister Naor, into the presence of their Riders. Melanthor hatched for Lee and his next few years were spent being trained by his father to be a proper dragon, while Lee was trained by an elf who lived among the tribe. When he was five years old, Melanthor was deemed mature enough to travel abroad by his father. In the few weeks since then, he and Lee have traversed a small amount of Alagaesia from where they last saw his family.

Appearance: Melanthor is built very heavily and thickly. He was among the strongest dragons in his family, but isn't very fast. His scales are purple, but unlike other dragons, they ripple instead of sparkle. When he moves, his scales go through all the darker shades of purple. His body is 65ft in length, with a 170ft wingspan. (His wings are so large because his body is really heavy.) His eyes are a pale purple color that look like lavender in bright light. Like most dragons, his talons, spines, and teeth are all whiter than snow.

Weapons: His teeth, talons, massive strength, and fire. (His firebreath is the same color as his eyes.)

Skills: Melanthor is extremely strong. If he wanted to, he could probably carry up to five tons in each forepaw.
