Skills: - Lakida is an excellent swordswoman, but her swordsmanship is greatly diminished if she uses any sword but her own, which was forged especially for her, and she is very predictable, a fault which has often been the cause of her defeat.
However, what she lacks in swordsmanship she makes up in her skill with daggers. She carries several knives with her at all times, and if need be, she could hit a rabbit on the run from a hundred yards away. She also has several ways to keep people from noticing the dagger in her hand until it is lodged in their heart.
Lakida is also a proficient magician, but she does not know much of the ancient language, so her spells are often a bit vague, but she knows how to make a single word perform like a long sentence. Her spells are often a bit off, though, and they will often hit the wrong target. The jewel in her sword somehow helps her cast a spell correctly.

Character Personality: -Lakida is evil, she will never help anyone but herself. When she sees a fight, the first thing she thinks is, How can I gain from this? She is not very creative, and usually has to copy someone else’s methods of doing things, but she is observant, and very smart. She remembers everything about something that interests her, but hardly notices anything else, if she isn't interested in something, she will barely remember it. She has a dark sense of humor, but hates all true joy. She revels in the pain and suffering she causes. She never has any pity or mercy, and enjoys playing with her victims. She acts in an isolated sort of way, and never, never trusts anyone. She can seem very kind if she wants to, and could have you trusting her with a few sentences, and even those who know her are half-taken in by her convincing display. She views the rest of the world with disdain, and considers herself to be of superior intellect. Lakida is very proud, and has a very short temper. She never forgets any insult, no matter how slight. She always likes to know what is going on, and if something seems out of place, she will find out why.

Character History: Many years ago, Lakida was just an ordinary girl living in the spine. But then they learned that a group of the empire’s soldiers who were recruiting men for the army were coming toward their village. Lakida’s father, who was a sorcerer, summoned a spirit to defend them against the soldiers. But the spirit was too strong for him, and it killed him, Lakida’s mother, Lara, all of the village, and then took control of Lakida. The soldiers took her back to Galbatorix, who taught her in the use of the sword and magic, and other weapons. He didn’t trust her, and therefore didn’t teach her as much as the ancient language as he could have. She discovered that it was difficult for her to get her magic to work properly, it would often hit the wrong object, or do something slightly different than it was supposed to. Lakida found that the large peridot that she had been carrying when the spirit took over and so had accidently taken from home helped to concentrate her magic. Galbatorix had a sword forged for her, with the peridot in the hilt, and also eight daggers. Eventually she grew tired of serving Galbatorix, and left, which was difficult, especially as her lack of creativity made it hard to create spells that would allow her to leave unnoticed, but possible. She knew that if he found her, she would probably be killed for running away, so she tried not to be noticed, and avoided everyone, except those whom she had determined sided with nothing and no one, and therefore would have no reason to inform on her.

Weapons: Lakida has a sword, made like an elvish sword, with a peridot in the hilt that helps her magic. She also has eight daggers, also made like the elves’ weapons, three of four of them in her belt, and the other four tucked into hidden compartments in her clothes. All of her weapons are coated with a thin film of poison, which will kill in thirty seconds unless the poison is removed with magic or the antidote given. She carries the antidote with her, but no one knows that.

Character's Physical Description: - Lakida is very beautiful, with long, coal black hair that falls straight down to her waist. She wears an outfit of ordinary leather breeches and shirt that somehow manages to also emphasize her beauty yet be practical at the same time. You only think she is beautiful until you see her face, though, as her expression is that of someone who hates and scorns everyone but themselves. However, if she wants to, she can look like the kindest, gentlest person imaginable-until you look closely at her eyes, for she can never completely conceal the malice from her blood red eyes.

Dreams for the Future: - To destroy all light and happiness on the earth.

Reason for Dreams: - Because everything that makes others happy makes Lakida angry.
