OCC: Title stinks, I know. But this is mainly for baddies. I don't really have a plot in mind though. Good guys WILL be trolled if they join, especially if they're dragons. Muhahahaha!

IC: Lethira wandered through a dark forest, dressed in her usual black cloak and seemingly lost in this new land. Overhead, the sky was grey and overcast, just the way she liked it. he shade's search for the infernal lightning dragon, Violeta, never seemed to turn up any results. It seemed that the horrid beast had simply vanished. Nobody in Alagaesia had seen her recently. Perhas the Empire had finally caught her. No, Violeta was far too clever for that. Lethira hated to admit it but Violeta was a very intelligent opponent.

"Where the devil are you?" she shouted in frustration.

OOC: I think I'll join with a goodie in a little bit. ^^

IC: Zar'rac sat, perched on the top of a tree. The sky wasn't favorable for his shadowshifting, but it would have to do. If someone looked at him now, they would clearly realize that he wasn't human. He was merely a black silhouette. It didn't show any details on his body, such as eyelashes, fingernails, hair, clothes, or even his eyes. All that was distinct was a sinister, twisted smile that showed straight white teeth. He had his hands calmly placed on his knees and his legs were bent. He felt many minds within the depths of the forest, but one had particularly intruiged him. The mind was thoroughly blocked, he he could recognize a devious mind when he sensed one.

His form was absorbed into the tree, and he travelled down the tree quickly as a black puddle of shadow. When he touched the ground, he reformed in front of the woman. She was tall, but still stood about a foot or so under him if he were in his human-shaped form. As he was now, she was a good foot taller than him. She was thin and seemed rather frail, but Zar'rac knew better than to judge her based off of appearances. She wore a black cloak that obscured a portion of her face. "Who do we have here?" Zar'rac questioned curiously and slowly. A large black circle surrounded Zar'rac, and devious, crooked grins almost covered the puddle of shadow.

Crugan grimaced; Zar'rac was at a disadvantage in this fight mostly because of the woman's odd fighting style. However, he wanted to see it go on for a little longer, so he refrained from interfering as of yet. When an evil energy resonated from the woman, Crugan broke his Speed Seal for a simple moment, disappearing and reappearing in a higher altitude where the energy hadn't reached him. If he had, then that woman might have sensed him.

[color=404040]Zar'rac let out a bloodcurdling scream. The pain; it felt both relieving and agonizing at the same time. It had been so long since he had been through this much pain that he almost relished the moment. Almost. He might have if he currently didn't have an opponent to worry about. He reformed into a blob. If he were in his Shade form, the pain might have crumpled him to his knees. As it was now, it didn't affect his overall body movements very much, mostly just his mind. Zar'rac raised a hand, and murmured, "Shadow Strangle." Black hands, silhouetted against the ground, branched out from the shadows of trees and swirled around the woman, beginning to travel up her legs and body as it made towards her neck.

On it's way up, however, particles began descending from the sky. The particles themselves were smaller than the size of a dime and numbered in thousands. They all gathered towards each other into a pale purple orb. This orb began to hollow out into the form of a human, and Zar'rac growled, realization of who this was dawned on him. "Freohr," Zar'rac murmured quietly. A tall, lean man stood where there once were thousands of particles. His dark gray hair was spiky, and his black eyes were disconcerting to many. A large, high-collar cloak covered the entirety of his frame, and an odd looking skull was at the center of and on either sleeve of his cloak.

"Picking fights, are we Zar'rac?" Freohr uttered, his voice smooth and persuasive.

Lethira pondered the offer. She was weary of these strangers but they could prove useful. If they could help her find her nemesis, it might be worth while.

"Very well. I'll help you out in your little crusade if you'll help me find the dragon."

Lethira hated having to work with someone. She preferred to work alone. Violeta was proving to be terribly elusive though.

"It is my understanding that the Empire is chasing her around. Perhaps if we find someone with contacts close to the king, they may have some information."


OCC: I'm planning to bring Agatha into this RP soon.

OOC: Alright. Is Violeta going to join?

Crugan nodded at her acceptance while Freohr and Zar'rac just glanced at Crugan with a look of weary. They soon regained their respective conflicting composure and mindsets, however.

"Someone close to the king," Crugan murmured. Being pretty new to the lands and rather introverted, Crugan had never conversed with anyone long enough to know if they worked for Galbatorix or not. If need be, Zar'rac could sneak into Uru'baen and corrupt the mind of a high-ranking human soldier, possibly obtaining information concerning the lightning dragon. However, that would be more of a last resort than anything, due to the multiple things that could happen in the process. "Have you met with or heard of anyone that could be privy to such information?" Crugan asked Lethira.

OCC: Probably not. I actually have a different idea.

IC:
Lethira thought for a moment. "There is someone in the city of Gilead who has close ties to the king. I hear she smuggles and sells goods for him. I have considered paying her a visit to see what kind of weapons she sells. Maybe she knows someone we could talk to."

Lethira needed more grenades. The frequent skirmishes she was involved in had exhausted her supply. Perhaps the smuggler could get her more and possibly provide her with valuable information.

Crugan pondered over that information. If the woman had close ties with the king, then hopefully she wasn't too loyal to him. More weapons also sounded to be very beneficial. Maybe Crugan could obtain some useful weapons himself. "We'll have to go see her, then. If she has information regarding the lightning dragon, then we'll fulfill our end of the bargain," Crugan said. "We should visit this woman as soon as possible."
OOC: Do tell?

OCC: Oh, it should be fun. And we get to cause lots of destruction in the process!

IC: "I don't recall her name though. We will have to track her down once we reach Gilead." Lethira said. "We should be off."

Lethira savored the thought of vanquishing her old foe. Violeta had cost her everything. Her army, her empire, her great power... Someday the meddlesome dragoness would pay dearly.


OCC: Short. Bleh.

OOC: Sounds like something Crugan would enjoy.

IC:
Crugan nodded before glancing back at Freohr and Zar'rac. "You two finish the wells in the Beors while we go meet this woman," Crugan said calmly. Both Freohr and Zar'rac nodded, and the former began to disperse into particles, while the latter dropped into the ground as a shadow and went off. Crugan nodded at Lethira, "Let's go," he murmured and teleported in short bursts towards Gil'ead, but not coming too close to it for several reasons. When he neared a forest that ended on a slightly steep cliff overlooking the city, he stopped, feeling a brief wave of exhaustion wash over him. He waited for Lethira before continuing.

OOC: Skip to the night?

IC:
Crugan nodded, agreeing with Lethira's sense of logic. He glanced partly at Lethira, who was gradually growing more and more impatient. She was very eager to get this dragon killed, impatient in nature, or possibly both. No matter, he couldn't let her think that this would be a lost cause, for then she might withdraw her services. "We'll search around at night time then. After we begin looking around, we should meet up in that tavern," he said, pointing at a local bar, "in an hour."
