Eris stared down at the shore line from the ship. The dragon carrier was large, and he had no idea how Equinox managed to steal it from Demondred, but he had at least managed to it seemed. He shook his head, it didn't really matter, all that did was that they did have it. He still wasn't sure why Equinox wanted such a huge ship, but he supposed it didn't matter.
How does it feel to see the ocean again? Equinox asked, landing next to him.
"Great! It just makes me wonder though, of this land Maraghon showed us. To bad he nor any of the other Alfin would come." He unrolled the map Maraghon gave him, it showed the known world which was the western portion of Alagaesia, some of the east, the south just had an arrow pointing down to Ardonia and west to a land Maraghon called 'Maladia'.
"It shouldn't be too difficult to find I hope," Eris said, "we just have to travel west. Maraghon said if we keep a straight trail it shouldn't be long until we make land fall."
Equinox nodded and flew off to shore to check on the crew and the others still loading on. Eris sighed and stared into the sea.

Soaring over those coming on the ship, Equinox turned back and landed near the Crow's Nest. Though he doubted they'd need them, the ship still had the dragon harpoons and catapults from when they stole it from Demondred. Though happy to go, Equinox wasn't sure just what Eris was getting himself into. From what he heard from him and the Alfin, this Darkness sounded like something not to be messed with.
Are you sure you want to come Savania? he asked the silver dragon Eris said the Darkness can make you relive horrible events from your past.
Savania glared at him but softened the glare, I know, but I'll be fine. Besides, you have just has horrific things that happened to you, and more than me really.
Equinox nodded and unconsciously shifted his deformed leg. That was true. Just be careful will you. I already got Eris' reply that he would try to be.
Only if you are. Savania replied.
You should a lot like your mother. Equinox said warmly.
Savania smirked.

Savania watched Equinox for a moment and decided to go curl up on the center of the deck right where the sun was shining. It was beautiful day out, nice blue sky, calm winds, and the sun shining right on her scales. Yawning, he watched the crew scurrying around, some even climbing over her to get to where they needed to be. She wished Snare would have come, but the shape-shifter was terrified of water and ships. Savania decided not to force her. After all, it was understandable Besides, Savania just really wanted to relax right now. She loved the sea.

OOC: You mind if I join? If you don't, what kind of charry would you want me to use? :S I want to join the story, but I can't think of between good or evil.

OOC: Ok, thanks.

IC: Zereldn sat down on a barrel, which, depressingly, was about to collapse under his Draconian weight. Despite his past, he was eager to see what this land with "Darkness" would present. Either way, he was confident, almost overconfident, that he could handle it. He sighed in slight boredom before staring out at the waves as they crashed down on the shore. The sky was beautiful, completely elegant in appearance. It was a light blue sky, one with little clouds to interrupt it's radiance, and although it was a little hot today, there was a gentle breeze that cooled Zereldn down. He sighed in content. He glanced around at the inhabitants of the ship. There were some members of the Resistance here, namely Savania, Eris, and the leader, Equinox. While Zereldn wasn't overeager to go, he is curious about the lands outside of Alagaesia, and this journey would hopefully give him a break from all of the discrimination towards Draconians.

Natsu walked onto the ship and settled himself comfortably as Erza flew over it. By the way Natsu, where exactly is this ship going? Erza asked.

He shrugged his shoulders, grinning, I have no idea, to be honest.

Well then ask someone! I don't particularly understand why you would get on a ship with no knowledge of their destination Erza scolded.

Grumbling, Natsu looked around the ship, asking some crewmembers who the leader of the ship was. Some replied by shrugging their shoulders, they too left in ignorance, and finally, one replied, saying, "I believe it is him," the man had said, pointing to a dragon with slightly dirty scales. Natsu thanked him before asking the dragon, [i]Excuse me, are you the leader of this ship? If so, can you please tell me where this ship is headed? And by the way, my name is Natsu," he said in greeting.

OOC: Alrighty Darkie. Here I am. Have your fun, sir. =D As we shall. I do love ships though.. so many options for fun. And hide and seek.

Niriz was flying above the Resistance ship that was still docked and being loaded, keeping a watch just above the crows nest, thoroughly enjoying the salty ocean air. She swooped and felt her wings shudder with the excitement of flying. She never grew tired of it. Glancing to her side she saw her little gray-blue bond, Slyth, diving through clouds, desperately trying to keep up with her.

The young dragonnette was still not as strong with her wings as her siblings, though she worked tirelessly with them, and progressed very fast. Niriz liked to think that it was partly because of their bond. Being the fact that Nephilim had wings and were practically born flying. Figuratively speaking of course, they were however flying almost nine months after birth. She looked to her left, then her right, squinting to see a dark brownish blot on the ocean about a mile away. She decided it was driftwood and continued her assessment of the ocean.

Niriz glanced down, seeing the large dragon carrier, and for the seventeenth time wondered why they needed it. She swooped down, happily flying through a sea-cloud full of salty dew. She giggled and floated down to the ground, "Well Eris, it appears that there is nothing, save some driftwood. Quite peaceful too." She smiled, glancing to her side as Slyth came soaring down, landing quite well on top of her shoulder.

She smiled comfortingly at Eris, sensing that he was worried about the darkness. Caete had told her all about his experiences with the Alfin, and could even go off some of her own experiences with them since their alliance against Demondread. "I'm sure we'll all be fine." She nodded to the others, "We've all been warned by you and Equinox time and again before we even agreed to come that this would be dangerous and that we should be on our best guard. We will heed you." She smiled again, making it known that she believed that they would truly be okay.

After travelling for many days across what used to be her land, Vinixia had set her mind to visit the neighboring countries. She had yet to do anything large, and had really not met anyone, but was enjoying her time upon the earth. She found a large piece of driftwood and set herself upon it, floating calmly and happily along the shore. Although she wasn't sure where she was headed, she knew that she would have to be going somewhere. She hadn't spread out off the shore and was delighted to see that a ship was not too far off.

The ship was large, docked, and currently being loaded with barrels and crates, even some soldiers, perhaps a crew were visible to her keen eyes. She sat up slightly, resting her hands behind her back as she leaned to lounge. "Mmm. I wonder if their headed across the sea." She mumbled. She took a deep breath, taking in a fair amount of salty ocean air, and sighing. She was around a mile off, and she was certain someone on the ship would see her before she made it to them. Of course they would send someone to investigate or pull her aboard, it was a logical thing to do to a stranger in these days.

Talk of a war had reached Vinixia's ears and she was displeased with the information. The idea of a mass-continental war was catastrophic to the foundations of Alagaesia, yet of course the people would not have seen that. They were often blind. Though there were the few that lived as a testament to that idea. She looked ahead, wondering if they were running form the war, or if they were simply traveling to find riches, or chart lands.

She would find out. She intended to travel with them, especially if they were traveling across the sea. She had never set foot in the reaches of the earth before, and wished to see all of it. Thus she sat, lounging on the driftwood as it pulled her ever closer to the stern of the docked ship.

Equinox looked over as a rider and dragon approached him. He dipped his head in respect and glanced at them for a moment until he replied Nice to meet you Natsu, I'm Equinox. I suppose you could call me the leader. Eris knows better than where we are going than I am. We are going west to a land called Aurora. It's a land dominated by the Darkness, but we are going to see what exactly it is, and to see if there are any survivors. He looked to Eris for him to explain more. He knew more of the situation than he did. Equinox sighed, this was so odd to be going to a land every instinct inside him told him not to.
"The Darkness," Eris begun, "is a manifestation of evil. Corruption basically, the Alfin aren't sure where it started, but they were paritally corrupted by it. They were dragons at once time. Anyway, they say Aurua was once a thriving civilization, maybe even more so than Alagaesia. The Darkness though swarmed over it and spread across the sea. For a brief time it was in our land, but it left to return to Aurora. The Alfin say some people may have survived the corruption. We are going there to search for any survivors and learn more about our enemy."
Equinox nodded, You are free to come, but we warn you, it will be dangerous.

Eris looked over at Niriz as she spoke. He couldn't help but smile at her optimism, but he still couldn't help but worry. He shook his head and glanced at her. "Thanks, but I still can't help but worry. I'm glad you are here though, we'll need all the help we can get." He shook his head, "I don't even know if there are survivors. The Alfin themselves weren't even sure. Ah well, at least we can get some more information about this Darkness."
"Sir! A young woman has floated up to the ship on driftwood! She seems to have come from the ocean!" a crew member shouted.
ERis' heard turned back in the direction of the sea, "Then what are you waiting for, get her onto the ship."
"Yes sir."
Eris hurried over to the ship's edge where they saw a young woman on driftwood. Getting a log piece of rope with a large plank tied at the end they threw it to her, "Grab this!" he shouted.

Savania looked up when she heard someone had gone overboard. With a sigh she flew into the air and toward where the person was. To Eris and the crew members she said, You know, a rope not necessary when you have a dragon. She flew down to the woman and asked, Do you need help getting out? Grab my tail. I'm Savania by the way. Where are you from?

As Raven approached them Equinox replied, I'm Equinox and the elf who just left is Eris. We setting out west to a distant land called Aurora. Its said to have been taken over by the Darkness. The Alfin said its possible there are some survivors so we're going to look for them and learn more about this Darkness. You're free to come, but I warn you. It will be dangerous. Equinox looked over as Silas landed. With a happy nod he replied, I'm Equinox. Pleased to meet you Silas. I haven't seen a gryphon for awhile, other than my daughter's mate. he replied.

Eris watched Natsu for a moment and looked back as Savania brought the young woman onto the ship. With a quick glance back at the port he saw no one else who seemed to be coming on. Eris smiled at Niriz and replied with a nod, "I'm glad you are. We aren't coming back here for awhile. We don't even know how long it will take. The Alfin estimated three to four months. Longer if we're caught in bad weather." With one final check back at the port Eris went to where the capital was. After climbing down the ladder he said, "Captain, everyone's on."
The man nodded and at once the ship begun to set sail from the harbor. Wind pushed through its sales and a few magic enhancements helped it to soar through the seas faster. When he returned to Equinox he greeted Raven saying, "I'm Eris, pleased to meet you." He watched as the ship set sail, he could see the Alfin watching them as they left. He couldn't help but shiver. When Liam called out to him he smirked and replied, "Nice to see you again too!" He glanced up to Fin as he landed on him and said to him and his sister, "I'm pleased to see the two of you again. How has it been since we last met?

To the land of Aurora which is dominated by the Darkness. I don't know much of it, but Eris and the Alfin say it's very dangerous.

Sarai ran at full speed, her jaws open to pant for air. She needed to reach that ship! She felt it disembark and put on a burst of speed, straining every muscle in her body, every strand of strength that she had inherited from her father. She ignored her surroundings completely, focused entirely on reaching that ship. She reached the end of the pier and jumped, beating her wings desperately. Wait for me! she called. She beat her wings once more, and abruptly she felt the deck of the ship under her paws. She scrabbled to a stop, gouging the wood in some places with her talons. She bent her neck and panted hard, gasping for air to fill her lungs. That was the hardest she'd ever pushed herself to run in her short life. She lifted her blind gaze up to a human. She didn't know his name, which frustrated her a bit. Thought you could leave without me, did you? she admonished breathlessly, snorting once gently. Foolishness. she said, and smiled. She grinned at Liam, Vix, Fin, Rancor, Niriz, and Slyth. Well hello. What a chance to see you guys here. she said, and chuckled. She raised her head to the human. I'm Sarai. she said as introduction, dipping her head slightly to him. There were others on the ship she didn't recognize, but she would meet them in due time.

Equinox glanced at Raven and replied warmly I am. Incendia has told me much about you and Oceanis. I'm glad to finally meet you. He glanced off into the sea as they begun their sail through the ocean. They were going fast by the speed of the wind it seemed they make it faster than Eris predicted. All the help we can have will be great. As I said none of us know much of this land and the Alfin only know a little. They were once dragons themselves. At once the massive sails begun to blow faster as more of the enchantments took way. In dark purple a massive lightning bolt flared from the sails as they flapped in the wind. Equinox shook his head and said mostly to Eris, Sometimes I think they take last heir of the Lighting Empire to seriously. Eris laughed at him. He returned a warm smile to Vinixia and replied, Of course you can come. Anyone is welcomed. Part of his was nervous at accepting to many people though. He didn't want to take the chance of anyone getting hurt, but both his mind and the Alfin's warning told him not to turn anyone back. I'm Equinox by the way. Glad to have you with us.

"Ford's around here somewhere. Sleeping in someone's shadow last time I checked." He gave a warm smirk, "He likes to sleep inside shadows, those it is amusing when he wakes up and has no idea where he is. I think he's actually below deck right now." He looked at the dragonettes as they flew around in the air. "How have you all been lately?" he asked.

Ford openened his eyes and yawned. He was below deck because the fool human who's shadow he feel sleep in deposited him the dark cabins. With a sigh he opened the door and soared into the sun light. At once he recognized his brother, sister, and Liam and soared at them. "Liam! Vix! Fin! It's been awhile. How are you all doing?

Savania stared over as Sarai landed on the ship. With a smirk she walked over to the young dragoness. You must be Jia's daughter. I'm Savania, what brings you to this ship? she asked.

Sarai dipped her head in Savania's direction. Zeke's mate. She smiled at the steel-silver. Curiosity really. Mom is doing stuff for both the Varden and a bit for the Resistance, so she said I could explore. she chuckled. I'm not sure if she meant leaving Alagaësian shores, but too late for that now. she said. She turned about so she faced the rest of those on deck, even those she already knew. She bowed, lifting a foreleg so she could do it formally, even unfurling her wings a bit. Greetings to all. My name is Sarai Blackscales, daughter of Johdzsia Kuldrskular (Goldscales) and Shruikan Súndablaka (Shadowwing). she said warmly. Despite the warmth though she was ready to defend. She wouldn't hide who she was, but sometimes that came at a cost. Usually the cost of people not trusting her at all.

Felecia flew idly over the water. Her wings were tired, her eyes were closing, but she didn't honestly care. Her companion was dead. Her beautiful Ebony, gone. Physically at least. But the blow was no worse that if he had been. She held his heart wrapped tightly with silver wire around her neck, so it only looked like a unique pendant. She blinked and looked abruptly when she saw a ship. She recognized a few faces. Sh dove eagerly, hoping that maybe here she could forget her sorrows. She backwinged lightly and touched the deck of the ship, folding her dragons wings behind her back. She looked around at all the people and rubbed her arms. Ebony's soothing presence touched her mind, giving her a bit more confidence to shyly wave her hand,"Hello, I'm Felecia Blacksword, or Ailis Volat, She Who Flies With Her Own Wings." she murmured. She remembered Savania, Sarai, Equinox, and Eris. That was it on her list of comfort friends. Sarai sensed her immediately and padded to her side, gently nuzzling the female elf's side. Felecia smiled tightly and scratched Sarai's jaw, making the latter purr in content. She looked up at Eris with her dull sapphire eyes,"Where does this ship go, my friend?" she asked the male human.

Nice to see you join us Felecia. Equinox said with a dip to his head. He sighed and looked at all those around him. So many people came and yet he worried. The Alfin warned him about Aurua. Many here wouldn't know what to expect, he didn't even know. The fact that this land was something the Alfin feared made him even more uneasy. The Alfin fearned pretty mucn nothing. He nodded to Raven as she spoke. Incendia did often like talking about her friend. He was still surprised she chose not to come, but at the same time he was glad none of his children had to come to such a dangerous land.

Eris studied Felecia for a moment. He knew of Ebony's death, and how much pain she must be going through. Still, he was glad at least her mind wasn't ruined as his was when Quasar died. "We head to Aurora, the land of the Darkness. We don't know much of it, the Alfin wouldn't elaborate much, so this is mostly for exploration." he replied. After a pause he asked, "What brings your here anyway?" He glanced over at Liam and Vix and noticed the egg. He shook his head and said, "You might want to take the egg back. It's going to be dangerous, we don't want to risk it being stolen, broken, or corrupted."

"You worry too much Eris." Ford said. He paddled over to his older brother and sister and sutided the egg. "About time another egg comes. I don't see what's so funny about it though. Unless you mean because you snuck it here without Liam knowing."

Well I'm glad to have you with us. Savania said. She looked up at the rest and gave a sigh. So many people here. Ah well, at least it would be fun she hoped.

Zereldn blinked. That's probably the nicest way someone's put it in a while he said, frowning. Was the dragon touched in the head? Very few ever called his lineage interesting. They might call it interesting, but he could tell that they meant it as in weird.

Natsu and Erza approached Equinox, "Excuse me, Equinox. When do you think we will arrive at Aurora?" Natsu asked curiously. He glanced at Eris, glad that the Elf was doing better since the death of Quasar.
