Post Best Book Ever
Well, since they asked for me to introduce myself, I'll humbly comply.

I am an English teacher. I picked up Eragon upon the advice of a student - one who got in trouble for reading it during my science class (I teach reading, science, religion, and social studies) -- and have to say, I now understand why my student couldn't put it down.

This is the best book ever. Not only is the story, imagery, and plot just amazing, but the characters are real, ie easy to relate to, and it is just so well written, never boring.

I majored in English in college, and I've read everything: The Iliad, The Oddysey, Milton's Paradise Lost, Greek Comedies of Aristophanes, Greek Tragedies of Sophocles and Euripides, Hemmingway, Steinback, Tolkien, Lewis, Shaw, Shakespeare, Tolstoy, Michner, Tennyson, Tennessee Williams, etc. etc. I mean everything in the Western Cannon of literature, and this book is by far the greatest novel I've ever read. I can not wait for the third and final book to hit the stores.

Yours,

J

I think my hello post when I signed up was about 2 lines long. That put it to shame. What's up, nice to meet you! I live in the US, Texas to be exact. "Buenos noches! Como esta?" I said "noches", which means night or evening, because it is 10:26 where I am. That can't be right... I think Grandma might have forgot to set the clock on the computer. Oh, well. It's dark outside so I guess it counts.

I think Ayra will be the next rider. Read I'MNOTCRAZY's signature for more info.
Ayra may die when fighting Galbatorix! i have proof!
with the way CP put the book, i have a feeling that Eragon will lose some more loved ones/good friends, Garrow and Brom died in Eragon, Ajihad died in Eldest, they were all loved ones/good friends. Ayra prolly WILL die!
for those who don't understand my sig, for about 200 pages Ayra will be a rider, then she'll die.
