Finally! It took me forever to get this thing done! Anyway, here is one of Fletcher and Sevena's kids.

Control over temperature- This was an ability Tas discovered by accident. One day while playing with his sister in the meadow, a cave bear attacked them and Tas accidently froze it solid, much to his surprise. He has experimented with the ability and as he aged, he got better and better. Now he can focus on an object and freeze it solid or set it on fire. As he is still very young, Tas can only maintain the ability for a few seconds at a time. It takes a moderate amount of energy to set something on fire but only a small amount of energy to freeze something.

Speech- He is not fluent in speech yet so he usually communicates telepathically. However, when he gets older, he will be able to speak like his father.

Screech- This is an ability he inherited from his mother. Like his mother’s screech, it can stun and disorient a two legged being. He can also project it mentally like his father. Unlike Fletcher’s mental screech, Tas can actually use it against dragons and other flying beings as Violeta accidently found out the hard way. Luckily since he is still a hatchling, it only gave Violeta a bad headache. As Tas grows older though, the ability will become more potent. Currently he can only use it for a few seconds at a time .

Hair: Fur is tan. Feathers are light brown and white with flecks of grey mixed in.

Character Personality: Tas is lively and energetic. He always wants to explore the world around him, even places where he isn’t supposed to go. He likes to think he is tougher than his sister but that is not the case. Tas is close to his parents and loves them both very much. And like all little brothers, though he doesn’t want to admit it, he loves his sister too, often accompanying her on small adventures around the monastery. When he grows up, Tas wants to be just like his father, who he sees as a bold adventurer . He is unaware of much of his father’s past as Fletcher is not yet willing to tell his children about Agatha or Iaras. Tas is friendly and always eager to please his parents. He is proud and fearless Unfortunately, due to his young age he is also naïve, allowing Vena to drag him along on many of her expeditions to restricted areas. Tas looks up to Natagath and Violeta and enjoys hearing them tell stories of the old Dragon Riders. He has a kind heart like his father and Fletcher has taught him to value life. Thankfully Tas has never had to kill anyone, well aside from some rats and the cave bear that tried to eat him and his sister. He is brave and bold like his father though he is also fearful of things he does not fully understand.

Character History: Tas was born in an unnamed monastery in Danthuania. Though he is young, he is also adventurous and has gone on several small adventures around the monastery with his sister. Though most of the adventures have been harmlessly exploring the public areas, one adventure took the two young gryphons into a dark set of catacombs beneath the monastery. This place was off limits and was only used by the monks during their many tests of skills. While exploring the forbidden area, Tas nearly got eaten by a strange rat like creature. Thankfully Vena intervened and tore the vicious creature to shreds. Fletcher and Sevena never found out about this misadventure and Tas hopes to keep it that way. At the age of three months, Tas and his sister accompanied their parents to the meadow in the valley below. It was their first time traveling outside the monastery and Tas was mesmerized by the big world around him. During the trip Tas wondered off with his sister to explore. Suddenly a cave bear ambushed Tas and Vena. Tas was startled and he had no time to run. However, before the bear could get close enough, a jet of ice shot from the ground at Tas’s front feet toward the monstrous beast, freezing it solid in an instant. Though the two gryphonlings were scolded by their parents for wandering off, the discovery of a new ability caused enough excitement that there was no further punishment. As time passed, Tas grew and experimented with his abilities and discovered that he could not only freeze objects but set them on fire as well. Shortly after the bear incident, it was discovered that Tas had the ability of speech like his father, although he can only say a few words so far. Tas and his sister are trained daily by their parents in flight, combat, and gryphon lore.

Weakness / Fear: Obviously his age and lack of experience is a weakness. For Tas, the world is a huge place and he fears what he doesn’t understand.

Character's Physical Description: At only a few months of age, Tas is about the size of a medium sized dog. His feathers are a mix between those of his mother and father. The feathers on his head, neck, and wingtips are light brown while the rest of his plumage is white with flecks of grey mixed in. His fur is tan and like his father, Tas has a cluster of feathers on the end of his tail for maintaining balance in flight. The feathers are light brown. Being a baby, his beak and talons are rather stubby though they will grow as he does. His eyes are a brilliant shade of aqua.

Dreams for the Future: He’s a baby. He doesn’t really have any dreams for the future yet.

With the control over temperatures ability; you state in your description that it lasts only a few seconds? How would that work in use? (for example, the bear- would the ice disappear immediately, the fire put out etc)

The ability's fine, a little confused on the description is all.

It just means that he can't use the ability continuously for more than a few seconds at a time. He can't continue to freeze/burn enemies for long before he exhausts the ability. The ice would melt in the normal amount of time or the fire would keep buring like a normal fire.
