I was doing a little research and it has been confirmed that the final book will feature a emerald dragon. if anyone has any CONFIRMED theories then please post.

I think and this is a theory, that the green dragon will bbe green, because wasn't Brisingr suppost to have a green dragon on the cover, but he changed it to Gold??

It could be a theory but they said that it was confirmed. As for the brisingr cover. the same thing did happen.

well technically the third book was supposed to be the last and they had to change it because the green dragon wasn't hatched yet. Also if its facing east that would be weird.....what way was saphira facing? West right? Shouldn't the green one be looking up/north....cause thorn was more or less south....well i guess glaedr is facing east....so good the should do the whole compass right. Idk im kinda rambling lol

I still stand by my theory that it will be green, to many fans want it to be green and CP dosn't give fake hints.

yea it will definetly be green but i think it wont be facing east.

Idk about direction, dosn't realy matter to me, because why does it make such a big difference wether it is North, South, West, East.

Well it doesn't really but it seems to be a pattern so far that everydragon is facing a diferent way....it might have something to do with there allegiance

i still think that it's just a theory. a dragon is the color of the riders essence it even says so in the book, so whoever gets the dragon will have a green essence.

i know i said i had that mixed up. but eragons magic is blue and he gor a blue dragon. murtagh, his is red and he got thorn.

If you haven't noticed, it generally takes Christopher Paolini about a year to make one book. All of the books so far have been finished between September 20 - 30, so chances are it will be out about then.
