Post My Desktop won't burn dvdrw?
Hello

When I try to burn a data CD on iTunes it makes this weird clicking noise and doesn't end up burning the DVD.
I tried using the regular drag and drop onto the DVDRW burning folder itself and it still makes this weird clicking noise.
I'm using esperanza CDRW and they worked fine when I first got them then all of a sudden it's doing this.
I've tried another brand of disk (sony) and it's still making the same noise...

Recommendations anyone?

Well, make sure you're using the right type of recording disc. As far as I know, a DVDRW is not going to record music. :? I could be wrong though, not my best area.

What exactly are you trying to do (in layman's terms)?

It could be that your actual hardware- the drive, doesn't like dvds. If you can find the original documentation, you might want to check that it's compatible. Otherwise, I'll leave someone more experienced like kotor to help lol.

A CD-RW drive cannot even read a DVD disc, let alone burn to it. Either try burning to a CD-RW or get a DVD-RW drive.

In response to Kotor, yes, you can put music on a DVD just like you can put anything else onto a DVD, but it might not work on some music players such as stereos or Walkmans ;)
