Deep inside of the forest a sweet lonely melody floats on the wind from a clearing. Inside of this clearing sits three figures, a Sprite-kin, a Falcon and a Dragon that has no legs yet has two pairs of wings. The Sprite-kin sits on a rock, playing a lute. Coming from the Lute is a colorful mist that swirls up and forms another form, but this one flits and flys about in a dance. While the Sprite-kin is playing the falcon sits next to him and swings its head from side to side. The dragon laying in a ball at the foot of the rock. Probily lulled to sleep by the mystical music from the lute. Setting his lute down the Sprite-kin stands and flits the dew off of his wings, looking around at the wisps floating in the small clearing.

OOC: >.< Terribly sorry... Give me a few days with this and I'll get better. I promise, because I don't think I can get any worse. It was my first REAL RPG post.. Its harder then it looks.

IC: After the Sprite-kin had put his lute down, the Falcon snapped back to reality and hopped down from the rock. The sprite-kin then flitted around for a bit before heading to a near-by stream, where he sat by the waters and filled his small cup. While this was happening, the dragon had woken and began stretching out its kinks and cramps. After a few flaps the dragon folded its mighty wings and slithered to the Sprite-kin, and filled its mouth with some water. Sloshing it around in his mouth the dragon quickly spits it out onto the bank. Inside of the water were a few pieces of food that had been stuck it its teeth. "Why do you do that?" The sprite-kin said. With a lazy movement, the dragon looked at his friend and simply replied, "Because I do not like the taste of the old meat in my mouth."

Reb sloshed in the river, looking into the water at her reflection. Then she heard a peculuar sound down the bank. She slowly advanced, and then when the sprite kin came into view, she stopped dead in her tracks, and gasped at the dragon, then slowly began backing away. She didn't want to stick around with dragons around, she had not had a very good exsperience with them.

D'ran heard a sound and turned his head toward it. "Stop you." He said. D'ran quickly flew towards the elf and held a dagger up to her neck. "What are you doing in my forest?" He asked with quite a bit of anger. D'ran turned his head to his falcon and called it over, "Horal, hold her." He released his grip on the elf when the falcon pushed her to the ground. "Now I will ask you again. 'What are you doing in my forest'?!" He inquired once more. "And do not lie to me elf. For I know this forest far greater then any who have come across it before."

" Reb looked up at the man defiantly. She glared at the bird, then she decided that it would be best if she didn't fight back. She slowly,began to smile. She used her kindest, and most sweet voice she could and said, " Well you proove, you have no respect for my person, so I shall be going." She said swatting the bird aside. She stood, and put her hand on the hilt of her sword. " I will thank you for not killing me, but if I were you I would step away now." She said, then out of no where a black stallion stepped up infront of her followed by two wolves, both of medium, hieght but the other was much bigger than one.

D'ran slowly placed his dagger back and called Horal to his side. "Well, Elf." He spat. "You have my attention. But you still have not told me why you are here." D'ran looked around at the new animals then back at the elf. "And you come armed to my home." He said. "What do you go by?" He then shook his shoulders and flitted his wings a bit more to rid the heavy water droplets off of them. "Sundavar, could you go and find our guest some food?" He asked the strange looking dragon. "I do not see why but ok." Said the wyrm. Sundavar glared at Reb for awhile longer then flapped his massive wings and took to the sky. D'ran turned his back to the elf and motioned for it to follow him back to the clearing.

" I am called Reb, and I do not comed heavily armed like I should have." I am here for my busisness and no others." She spat back then loooked warily at the wyrm.
Occ:sorry it is short.

"Are you coming?" D'ran asked. back at the clear D'ran reached for a small leather backpack and pulled out a few scraps of berries. "Tell me again your name Elf." D'ran said. "For I think I could not hear it." Popping a few more berries into his mouth he held out his hand to offer some to Reb. "I do not bite and they are not dangerous." He calmly said. Looking up he saw Sundavar coming back down from his search, "I found a few Dakal berries and a Oaply tree." Said Sundavar. As Sundavar sat down the fruit on the ground, D'ran picked up his lute and began to play. "Why do you not tell me why you are here?" He said with a wierd look on his face.

" I have my reasons, that are my own. And I don't eat. I cant possibly, for I am a shade and that does not permit me to eat." she said eyeing the dragon. " your pet seems not to like me." She said pointing at the bird. The dragon kept catching her eye but she didn't stare for it would be rude. She listened to the wind that told stories only she could hear.

D'ran smirked at the remark and said, "Of course he does not. You do not reveal information, so we do not trust. And Horal is not my 'pet', he is a friend and is to be respected as one." D'ran packed the food up and put the bag on his back. "If you excuse me I need to go to town, but you are welcome to join me." D'ran said. "But you will have to keep up." D'ran moved the pack around so his wings could flit freely then started hovering. "Sundavar, Horal. Lets go." He tells the dragon and falcon. "By the way, I am D'ran." He calmly said over his shoulder and flew off north, the wyrm and falcon not far behind.

" I will meet you there but on my own time." She said mouthing something then mounted her steed and headed off in a steady pace. The horses legs went into a steady beat and she listened intently as the ground spun by her, and she enjoyed listening to the wind rush by and the sound of hoof meeting dirt. She could still see d'ran but he was just a spec in the sky.

Occ: I have no idea what to write, and plus it is your story and turn

D'ran slowed his flight when the town came into view. "Horal," he said, "I need you to keep an eye on the elf when she comes around." Seeing the falcon nod, he flitted down to the ground and reached into his pack. "I know its here somewhere.." D'ran mumbled. "Ah, here it is." He pulled out a small wooden flute and clutched it firmly. "We spent quite a bit of time on this flute," He told his friends, "But now it is time to enchant it and sell it." Setting the flute on a rock, D'ran pulled his lute off of his back and began to play. As he played, mist formed inside of the lute and spilled over the edge in slow movements. Once the mist touched the flute, Sundavar's spines glowed as he hummed a hymn with the song. "That is it," D'ran said after the song finished, "Its ready to sell." He picked up the flute and walked into town.

Reb pulled Cobalt up, as she made it to the town, and glared as she saw the bird watching her. She dismounted, and pat Cobalt's flank and walked around him. She took off his saddle, and reins and threw them in a near bye bush, and let him go free for the time being. He thundered out of sight, and she went into the town and looked at shops, and things, and also kept her eyes open for the flying man.

The sounds of the market place rang loudly in the ear of D'ran as he passed by. "Bread! Get it while its hot!" "Trinkets for the miss! Fine gems and pearl earrings!" "Exotic Pets! Rare Animals you wont find anywhere else!" This last one caught the ear of D'ran as he walked by. As D'ran went to the stall with the pets he glanced at the cages and more importantly what was inside. Looking through all the cages D'ran saw a few manticores, a northern flame salamander, a chimera and a few other odd beings. He shook his head and went looking for the magick stall once again. After haggling with the merchant there he walked away a hundred coins richer. D'ran passed by the pet stand again and this time asked the merchant how much for the chimera.. Hearing him say it was two-hundred gold coins and no less D'ran paid the man and walked out with the beast's cage. D'ran reached the outskirts of town and released the beast back to the wild. Better to die free then in a cage. He thought to himself. "Horal," D'ran said to his bird-friend, "We are leaving." But instead of going back to his beloved forest D'ran went north in search of a man. "She should be able to catch up" D'ran answered Horal's unspoken question.

Farther up the road from D'ran, Horal and Sundavar there was a rustling in the bushes. . .

" Merchant how much is that black and white wolf pup in the back?" Reb asked.
" Seven thousand even." He answered. Reb nodded and paid the man in ful. She retrieved the pup and put it in her saddle bag. Poor thing was skin and bones. She hopped on Cobalt and raced after D'ran. Shedo had her eye on the saddle bag. Reb stopped the horse and took the pup out. Shedo sniffed it and began to wine. Reb handed her the pup, and Shedo raced along side Cobalt with the pup dangling in her mouth. Her other pup racing beside her.
