Is it just me or are a lot of people posting around with sigs that are far larger than 500x200? Have the rules relaxed on this since I've been on hiatus?

well I don't believe that rule has ever been enforced, though the fact that there is perhaps one "Active" Global mod now days (last night was quite something, with almost all of them making an appearance within an hour of each other)

It has been enforced, it's just many of us have been rather busy over the last couple months. Things like that slip through the cracks during such times.
If they are close I think it's fine, within a couple lines or so, but I gather you've noticed some more extensive versions. Feel free to PM with those you have seen, and they'll be taken care of.

I do that my self on other forums, though I don't call my self active on those forums even if I do keeps close tabs on them just the way I look at it

anyways, these now last three posts have nothing to do with what the topic at hand (though I think it's pretty well taken care of now lol)

Well first you need to find a place online where you could save the file and access it with a link. You just need to use the regular image tags afterwards.

Just make sure that the file is not too big. Animated gifs can become quite large and then people would have to load them each time.
