I don't think he did because he wouldn't of made it this screwed up.

I'm pretty sure he didn't. Im's 90% sure that Paolini sold the rights to Fox, and somebody there wrote the script (probably without reading the book first )

Of course, he probably based it on some short copy of it, because Paolini would of made it pretty good if he did it himself.

I doubt that CP wrote the script. Screenwriting is another type of writing. I don't think he would have bothered learning how to screen write when he had to write the third book.

I extremly doubt that he wrote it, because if he did it would have been a whole lot better. You know I can't remember where I heard this, but I heard that someone made wone of Stephen Kings books into a movie and they chopped it up and change the story so badly (like how they did with Eragon) that now when someone wants to make one his books into a movie they have to make it exactly like the book. I also heard that he was seriously pissed about it.

They would never let the writer write the screenplay. First, we don't now how to write a screenplay. I'm learning, and there seems to be more than just the format. Second, is that story is our baby, and we would want everything in it. We would have our lines word for word and etc. The director would stare at it and said, "Dear God."

Re: Paolini wrote the script?!
What in the world drove you to think that Paolini wrote in the script ? If he did then the movie would be much better.
