Just to clear some things up for you firetongue

1. NEVER edit someones image without consulting them first, I know you and don't mind but don't go around doing to to everyones.

2. DO NOT cover up your focal point, I see you either put a c4d in over you render, or brushed over it, that is something you want to avoid or your graphic will be attacked by the more "experienced" graphic makers.

3. Something to work on that I have noticed is lighting, a good way to do this is by making a new layer, and applying a circle gradient tool with black and white, setting it to multiply, duplicating the image and setting it to overlay.

4. Your text seems blurry and I have to squint to read it, try working on some different styles.

if you're talking about Nate's tutorial, perhaps I experienced the same difficulty

well, first, Nate didn't include the render on the tut, so I can't follow it exactly. And then I saw stars on it,, what was it? Brush..? or part of the original render?

Overall, Nate's tutorial required an understanding about PS basic function, so it's only natural if you're a beginner and don't get how things work.. yet.

lol no,, what fronzz means was that he pushed the "edit" button in your post and see what's wrong,, it seems that you didn't mark the 'attach signature' option. You only need to check it and ur sig will show (I "edited" your post above only so your sig shows)

Hey nate,, I just thinking of something. My brother's doing graphic too, and he's making money of it. I mean, not just signatures for forums but brochures, logo, business cards, flyers, etc etc. I think you should try to create your own label,, and find clients,, like shops, restaurants, clubs or events for promotion or if your friends would fancy some cool business cards..

Of course you'll do real images too (real pictures, like products, scene-shots, etc), and carry on your client brand, and present your work to your client and got paid. Cool 'huh??

Just a thought,, seeing ur talent could be real assets in real world

Wow! looks absalutly awsome! i wish i had time to do somthing like that.

I know...I did kind of go a little overboard with the splatter brushes.

I never really thought of a clipping mask...i'll have to try it. I tried a version with a lot less splatter but, it seemed to have a whole lot of empty space, and that made it look even worse.

edit: I tried one with less splatter and a few different effects.

i like the red shine thats next to his head in the new one. but yeah, there both amazing, don't know how in the world you do that.

This is one I made when fooling around with a dark mark image. It's a bit different from the usual work I do.

I use Photoshop CS3 in all of my sigs.

I have experience from GIMP, Photoshop 6, and Photoshop CS2 aswell.

Yeah, dude, your awesome at this stuff! You seriously have some talent. I wish I was able to do all that. Every time I want a new sig, I have to ask either you, Firetongue, or elve King! Lol it sounds pretty pathetic...

By the way, I like the second Ironman sig, though the first is amazing as well. And the green one is also great!

yea shes right angg... its a totally free download and there plenty of tuts for beginners to get a feel for all the tools... after that, you can be making some pretty amazing sigs... any1 could use gimp... its really simple... take a look at it

Hmm, the obi wan, with a silver/white swirl background and have Obi in front with his lite-saber in hand, out and in a fighting stance, 200x500, and for avy same except head and part of lightsaber & 100x100. If it is ok.

I'm not going to lie, it's really difficult to find a good render of Obi. There isn't any other character you would prefer is there? I can try Obi, but I just can't find much to work with.

Hey, today has been a full day of class for me so I haven't been able to start it yet.

I'll have it done later on tonight though..do you still want a black and white swirl kind of thing? Or is there any other style in particular you would like to see.
