Character Personality: Shy at first, but when you get to know her more outgoing and robust than most elves. She's kind to those smaller and weaker than her. She is careful about the unknown, though inquisitive. She is quick to anger if she feels that she, or those she care about, are being wronged. Most would describe her temperment as still hot embers of a fire, not very dangerous as they are, but their potential for flames is huge if you but add fuel. She is easily attached to animal friends, and loves to explore Du Weldenvarden as it gives her a chance to find different animals. When she is happy or amused, her eyes take on a more silvery color, but when she's angry or mad they turn to a more dark blue, almost black color.

Character History: She was found wandering the woods near Rona Lake with a small Palamino filly when she was four by seventeen-year-old Karin and a couple in the village nearby took her in and raised her as their own. Now Karin is her best friend. Delphina lives with Penthera and Endor, whom she believed were her parents until they told her the truth at the age of six. Soon after she found that out, Delphina tried to run away. She walked for five minutes before she got bored of looking at trees and returned to forgive them. This is Karin's favorite story to tease Delphina with because the younger elf turns crimson whenever it is mentioned. Delphina calls Panthera and Endor Mother and Father as signs of her gratitude and thankfulness for raising her. At the age of seven she was swiming in the lake and she discovered that all the fish and animals in the water would swim near her and follow her. When she was nine, she was practicing on her longbow and she accidentally shot and killed a dove. She spent a week in bed after that feeling nauseous and crying. When Delphina was fifteen, Karin took her to visit Silthrim and her family there. It was there that she also found that they would flock to any boat she rode in and in all bodies of water, not just Rona Lake.

Weapons: Long bow, sword.

Likes: She likes to swim and boat on Rona lake, looking at the stars/sky, and dreaming of seeing the ocean and meeting the dolphins she has heard so much about.

Dislikes: Not having choices, bullies, Galbatorix, and being cooped up inside.

Animal Companions: An elven Palomino horse, Epona, who was found wandering with Delphina when she was four. Delphina doesn't know where her friend came from as she has no memories of her life before she was five. When she is in water many kinds of water creatures swim with her/swim by the boat.

Character's Physical Description: Delphina has long dark brown hair, blue green eyes, a slender but muscled body, a full, sensitive mouth, a rounded chin, long legs, and slender hands with long fingers. She is usually seen with wet hair because she just got out of the lake. She most often wears study dresses that are good for any kind of work but that also look nice enough to wear to Karin's house. She has lightly tanned skin and is about 5'5". She usually has her hair in a single braid down her back that almost reaches her knees. She only takes it out of the braide to wash it, or on special occasions. She usually goes around bearfoot, as she loves the feel of dirt between her toes, though she can't stand being dirty, and that is one of the many reasons why she loves swimming.

Dreams for the Future: To find her family and to meet Eragon and Saphira.

Reason for Dreams: She doesn't remember her family, and Eragon and Saphira are like legends to her. She partially wants to see if they even exist even though she knows her friends didn't (and couldn't) lie when they told her about them.

Alignment/side: She is against Galbatorix, but unsure about Eragon as she has not met him, though she understands he is one of their only hopes.
