The warmth from the sun felt good on Kenya as she walked down the beach, barely out of the waves that would roll up the sand towards her and then retreat back into the ocean, only to do it again. She hadn't been on a decent job in a while and was enjoying the break from her strenuous job. The only way she had got to this out of the way island, was because she had smuggled herself. There had been some sort of miscommunication she had been sent to take care of.

She rubbed her temples to help relieve the stress she had felt. Today seemed like a safe enough day, and she wanted to cool down a little. So cautiously she took layer after layer off, revealing a large assortment of weapons that she put in a pile with her many, many layers of thin fabric. "Whoa, I never knew I wore that much..." She said to herself surprised. After all, she honestly hadn't taken so much off in years. Kenya was standing in a simple outfit now, completely free of all her weapons and her leather skinned boots.

The sand felt nice against her bare feet as she walked over to the water and letting it run over her feet. It felt nice, feeling free for the first time in a long time. She had thought about going in search of Fen, but if he wanted to lead a simple life now and left her for it, than that was okay with her and she'd let him be. Kenya honestly didn't know if he was still alive, he had more people after him than she could count. So many had approached her and asked her to kill him for them, but each time she would disappear without so much as a word.

Little did Kenya know, that she was completely exposing herself to a world of harm. Her clothes and weapons were in a fairly large pile some distance away, making her looking smaller than ever where she stood. Also, her mind was lost, but she could still put up a good fight without steel in her hand. "What a life..." She told herself quietly as she watched the sun start to sag in the west. How much she wished her horse was there with her, at least it was someone to talk to.

As Groudes walked down the sandy streach of beach he muttred to himself, "Stupid pirates, think they are better then every one, just leave me after if help them score the biggist job of their lives." the muttred this over and over.

The rouge let out a deep breath the smell of the salt in the air and the fish in the sea calmed him, it took him back to his younger days in the small port town with his mother. Then he snaped out of his thoughts, not because of a sound, because the absense of sound the bird stopped their singing.

Taking a dagger out of his sheath, he crept down the beach, until he saw it. It was a girl, moving steathly until he was to close for her to reach her weapons, he called out "What are you doing here?"

Kenya felt her blood chill, and she knew something wasn't right. She didn't move however, knowing it would be a bad idea if this person was more than just an islander. Kenya was pretty sure that this person had some skill in fighting. Now she really regretted straying so far from her weapons. She had nothing on her, just her her fists, and being so small could be a hug disadvantage.

Kenya slowly turned around, just so she wouldn't startle this stranger, she didn't want to make any fast movements that might give her any sort of wound. She knew she wouldn't die or anything, but she still wanted to be in top shape before she smuggled her way back to the main land.

Her glare was icy as her oddly gray eyes looked at the man too close for her to get any sort of weapon. Darn...why couldn't I have learned any amount of magic? She questioned her self. She kept her appearance cool and her face was void of all emotions. "Why would it matter to you?" Now she really wished that her weapons weren't in plain sight. "I'm my own person after all, I doubt you'd want to know what I was doing here." The way she spoke almost sent shivers down her own spine. Kenya could be brutal and cold, especially if she was unarmed.

IC; Fenlore rode upon Bree's back down the beach. He was having hard times in the Empire. This was what he called his vacation. So far it that had included, fighting pirates, paying bribes to officers in the Empire, and then fighting the same officers once they turned on him. He wasn't in the least bit happy with his so called "Vacation".
But he was beginning to think he could have a good time. He finally got to an Island with sandy white beaches and green fields, a paradise, or so he thought.
He had left his armor back at camp but still held his sword at his side and his unstrung bow on his back. The soft rhythm of Bree's hoofs on the sand seemed to blend in with the beating of the waves.
Fenlore sighed and smiled up at the sky. "Thank you for this peace." He said to sky. Bree nickered slowing to a stop. Fenlore groaned, "Bree whats up? I was so enjoying our ride. I thought you were....." He stopped and looked down from the sky to see a woman and a man. The man seemed to be holding the woman captive or something of the sort. Fenlore also saw the huge stash of weapons on the ground and looked at it in wonder. "Wonder where the army went Bree." Bree shook his head and began to walk forward. "Oh fine we will see whats going on but after that I am going to lay on the beach and take a nap."
Fenlore unsheathed his sword and rolled his eyes, Bree always had to be the noble battle horse. Once they were a good 10 yards away Fenlore spoke so they could hear. "Well what do we have here? Did you too rob a weapons stash in the empire or something?" He asked pointing his sword at the pile of weapons and clothes. He knew now that they belonged to the woman. Fenlore could see it in her eyes that she knew how to use every one of them and he could also see the anger in them to probably at herself for being far away from her weapons. Fenlore stayed mounted on Bree not feeling like giving up the advantage of fighting on horse back if it came down to that.

Groudes looked over his shoulder a man riding a horse, how typical, just as he was about to have some fun, some thing goes wrong. Muttering to himself about his rotten luck the rogue moved so he was stradling the weapons and clothing of the woman, it was slightly up hill giving a little advatage, but not much.

Exchanging his dagger for his broad sword, Groudes looked from the angry woman to the man on horseback. She looks more dangerous then the other guy Groudes thought to him self never taking his eyes of the girl. "You on the horse, are you some kinda emperial soldier?" The rogue's eyes flashed with anger, as he spoke the words.

Kenya felt the anger boil up in her as the man took her weapons and clothes. She didn't pay much attention to the newcomer on horse back, she was just really irked with this man who took her possesions. Right now she looked murderous and deadly. "Give those back...or else." Her tone was dark her eyes darting around as she was starting to formulate a plan to get her things back. So far if she stayed empty handed, then the two men could take her out. If only she hadn't left them in a pile, she desperately wanted them back, for some sort of defense. She just hoped they wouldn't get rid of her. After all, upsetting an assassin was a bad idea, especially if they got their hands on any sort of weapon. Kenya was ready to kill them, she just wanted her things back.

Fenlore sighed and watched the two. He shook his head as the man asked him a question. "Why can't anyone just answer questions now days." He said to himself. Once he heard the woman speak he nodded, Just as I thought Bree, that woman knows what she is doing. Bree nickered in response and sent him a picture of him getting down. Fenlore sighed and dismounted.
He sheathed his sword and stretched his mind out them. Just from that he could tell that they weren't magic users. He sighed and then answered the mans question. "No I'm not from the empire. I have more values than an officer of the Empire would have. One is it ain't right to hold anyone at sword point unless they attacked you first or they deserve it." With that said a grin came over his face and he whispered in the ancient language, "Move" The pile of clothes and weapons slid out from under the huge man and stopped in front of the woman. "There you go. Now you have ur stuff back." Fenlore half leaned on Bree watching the two with a grin. He knew that a fight just might break out, he hoped one didn't but it wasn't his right to stop the woman if she thought that man needed a lesson.

As the pile of weapons and clothing moved Groudes hissed "Magic user." he spat in disgust. Letting his gaze move between the man and woman, Groudes figured the girl was still the largest threat. Then a voice came from behind him.

"What's going on here?" the voice asked.

Spining just enough he could see all three people the rogue held his weapons out to his sides. "What happened to solitude?" he asked himself. Then with a grim smile he looked directly at the knew comer "Nothing."

Kenya growled slightly at the man still holding her things, but slightly shocked at them moving towards her. Overcoming her moment of shock she went in a blind flurry and strapped everything back on, moving to fast to see where she put each weapon exactly. Now that she felt safe again she drew her long sword, pulling out two throwing knives with her left hand. Kenya definately didn't look as small as she did before, but it was still obvious she was a tiny person.

Yet another man came into the scene and she held her throwing knives at a dangerous angle, well dangerous for them. "It is my buisness on what I do here, not yours." She said darkly and threw one of the knives at the man who had taken her stuff. Her aim was so precise and defined that it merely skimmed the arm he was holding his sword in. The knife disappeared into the long grasses that boarder lined the beach. "Do not test me," her voice was quick and her eyes sharp, looking between all three, knowing she could take them if things came down to it.

Fenlore's face lit up when Mesaraih came into view. He opened his mouth to speak but stopped as he saw the woman throw a knife at the man. She knew her business. Fenlore sighed and threw up a couple wards against progectiles. He then walked forward leaving Bree back. Go graze friend. He spoke to Bree with his mind. He stepped in between the man and woman. "Mesaraih don't tell me you don't recognize me without all the wounds and blood." He hailed out to the Rider, his appearance was a whole lot cleaner then before. He stood there arms crossed looking at the rider. He knew that he was taking a chance standing in between these two without a blade drawn but he was willing to risk it. He still couldn't help but have his hand drift to his sword hilt. Mesaraih its good to see you. But you need to be a little weary now, these two are skilled with their weapons and neither are in a good mood. He spoke these words mentally to Mesaraih.

The knife drew a fine line of blood across Groudes' wrist. Looking down he scowled "Now what was that for?" he asked almost yelling. Putting on sword back into its sheath at his left hip, the rogue still held a sword in his left hand the one without the small wound.

Taking a deep breath, Groudes tried to calm himslef. "So you two know eachother." the rogue said, then spat "You do know he's a rider, right?" asking the man with the horse.

The remaining knife in Kenya's hand was thrown accurately at the rider, cutting him on his leg, but only enough to draw a little blood. The knife disappeared into the sand, leaving no traces of where it had gone. Oh well, I'll find it later. She thought to herself. At the moment she felt surrounded, even phrasing a sentance wrong would be bad at the moment. She was on high alert and as she had demonstrated, wouldn't hesitate to do anything. "I can kill who I want," she glared at the rider. Kenya really hated men, didn't matter who it was, but she hated the whole lot.

"It was because you refused to give me my defenses back." Her attention was focused back to the man who had held her things at bay from her. She felt slightly less hate towards the man that now stood in between her and the other. After all, he had given her her things back, but the fact that he could use magic made her weary. "You two know each other." She said it more as a statement. Looking over at the rider she looked him up and down. "Yep, definately a Dragon Rider." She muttered quietly to herself. In her trainings she had discovered her natural eye at taking in ones appearance and knowing almost instantly what they were or did. This can't end well... She thought to herself. A magic user, and Dragon Rider, and a man she had made rather mad. Yeah, she was definately in a tight spot.

Fenlore ran a hand through his hair with a sigh. Why can't we all get along! He screamed in his mind knowing that yelling that out loud would do any good. He put took his hand off the hilt of his sword trying to make the action reassuring, then got into a relaxed stance. "Yes I know he is a rider. A good one at that." He then turned to the woman.
"I realize you are pissed off but stop showing off your skills. It isn't wise to let those you think you might have a chance of fighting knowing what you are able to do. It gives them the chance to mount a defence to your tactics." His voice was flat and had no emotion at the time. Then added speaking to both the man and woman, "I am Fenlore. Who might y'all be?" He could have added many titles on to his name but he took some of his own advise and kept his skill secret. Mesaraih how have you been? Where is Fenerixes hiding? He asked Mesaraih while talking with the other two.

Groudes put his sword point into the sand, as the man introduced himself. The rogue always found it harder to kill the people when he knew their names. Shifting his feet in the sand, Groudes looked from one man to the other, then to the woman, who looked slighlty larger then before, and even angrier.

"My name does not concern you." The rogue said, he was being tracked down by several bounty hunters as well as the empire. Better safe then sorry he thought to himself.

"It is better that they know I can fight well, than for them to meet a swift death." Kenya bit back at Fenlore. He was getting on her nerves, but she admired his effort in trying to keep everything calm and under control. Her eyes shifted between Fenlore and the rider, studying their faces and how they were acting she stiffened as she realized they were speaking to each other through their minds. Instead of saying something, she kept her mouth shut, deciding to take Fenlore's advice about revealing a lot of things. Besides, she could gain the upper hand if it came to that.

"My name isn't your concern yet, only until I know I can trust you, than I'm merely an assassin to you." She said with an edge to her voice. Looking at the rogue, she gritted her teeth slightly. She really didn't like him, but since he made no advancing move, she'd have to stay put and gain as much information from the other three as she could. "Now why would three men of your calibur be doing on this island?" she asked, truly curious as to why skilled men are here on this rather small and insignificant island.

Fenlore nodded with a grin on his face. He knew that they probably wouldn't tell him. He wasn't to worried about anything they could attack him with. He wards up against those deadly little daggers and he was also as fast as an Elf so he hopefully would have the speed to unsheathe his sword in time to block a stroke from a sword.
Actually I have been better. Ran into a large group of pirates a little while back. Then the Empire seems to never stop bothering me. I'm thinking of heading back out east of the desert. Try and take a long break from it all. Fenlore said to Mesaraih and then add, You might want to bring Fenerixes in here soon. I think that would have a calming affect on these violent people.
While speaking mentally with Mesaraih he was speaking to the other two. Fenlore sighed before he answered. "You know I am going to take some of my own advise and keep my answer short. I'm on vacation here. Needed to escape the hustle in the Empire." He shrugged as if it didn't matter.

OOC sorry guys my computer crashed.


Groudes snorted at the other two men's answers. The rogue carfully kept his mind blank, remebering that some riders could read minds. Groudes sheathed his other sword and asked if any one knew if there were any people on this island or if it was deserted.

Kenya looked skeptically at both Fenlore and Mesaraih and snorted slightly. "Yeah right, both of you, who seem to know each other, are just here by coincidence and on vacation?" she asked with a looked that easily said there was no way she believed that. Kenya rolled her eyes annoyed at his question. "Obviously you thick dolt or an assassin, rider and mixed breed wouldn't be here." Hey, no one said she couldn't attack through her words. "If you have any sense or wits about you, then you would have obviously seen the harbour and small village on the other side of the island. How else could you have gotten here?" she asked him with narrowed eyes. The annoyance she felt was starting to mount against them all.

Fenlore chuckled and shook his head but he war really angry. He always tried his best to hide the fact that he was a mixed breed but that didn't seem to help here. "Now now no reason to be hostile. And as for vacation whats wrong with that, been dealing with the damned Empire for way to long."
Fenlore let small amount of his anger slip to Mesaraih, I'm about ready to just silence these ignorant and prideful fools. His eyes were narrowed but other then that he was pretty well composed.

"Come on, everyone. We don't have to be so violent with this," Mesaraih said, even though his blood was boiling. Me too, this is starting to get annoying, he said to Fenlore.

Groudes growled "well then, im going to go get a boat and get of this stupid island." He turned his back the the triom, and started walking away. "You can all come to is you wish." He didn't tell them he was planing on stealing a boat, and going after those pirates that had dumped him out here.

Kenya scoffed. "Well its just difficult to believe that, seeing who you are exactly." She strained out the word with a sneer. After a few moments she decided that they were being honest and figured that now was any good a time to find her missing knives. "Bloody knives, always disappearing," she mumbled sourly as she walked over to a general area that she thought had one. The tall grasses swayed as the wind brushed through them. This'll take forever, stupid knives. She complained and kept the other three within sight so they couldn't sneak up on her.

Mesaraih, want to have a little bit of fun. These two caused us some grief so its only fair if we return the favor. He said to Mesaraih giving him a small wink as he grinned in a mischievous way.
"You know Mesaraih, doesn't he look like that one guy on the wanted bulletin in town?" Fenlore asked Mesaraih with sarcasm dripping off his voice but he was being serious and as he pointed to Groudes. "Nice bit of money on him isn't there?" He asked raising an eyebrow with a grin. "Oh and then there is the fresh batch of Empire solders that just sailed in yesterday. They are the veterans who fight on the front lines. Is this the kind of post old Galby gives to those who finally earn a break?" Fenlore was half grinning as he made sure that all heard what he said, maybe the veteran part was a stretch of the truth but how could these two know that.

At the rider and his friends attempt to scare him, Groudes laughed, "The king wouldn't send his vetrans to an island, away from the fighting." he paused, "I used to be one of those vetrans." Groudes laughed agian.

As he was walking away he saw the sun glint off of something he bent over to see it, it was one of the woman's knives. With a small chuckel he reached down and picked it up, it was still wet with his blood. Then keeping it in his hand he started walking agian.

Kenya completely ignored the other three while she was digging through the tall grasses. "Ha!" she cried triumphently, emerging with one of the knives. Now, she only had two more. Holding the knife, she felt it start to heat up to the point of almost burning her hand. Instantly her small success was wiped away. There was one special ability that her knives had, when one was picked up by someone other then her, then all the other ones would burn hotly, that way she rarely lost one for a long time.

Feeling rage burn through her, Kenya looked at them to see who was holding it. Fenlore was empty handed, Mesaraih was empty handed as well...that left Groudes. She felt so much anger boil up in her at that moment that she didn't notice when a great red dragon shot up into the sky and soaking them somewhat in sea water. Not really thinking, she ran after Groudes and tackled him to the ground, she wanted her knife back.

Fenlore shook his head, "Fenirexes, care to make some noise for these fools?" Shouted Fenlore. He really didn't want to stop Kenya from hurting Groudes because well he was annoying but so was Kenya at the same time. It was odd but he thought if Fenirexes could scare them half to death it would be enough. But as a precaution Fenlore put up wards around Fenirexes, Mesaraih, and himself.

Groudes felt a body fly at his back, the small fram of the woman was enough to topple him, when he wasn't looking. The pair rolled around on the ground, Groudes soon got the uper hand and rolled Kenya onto her back.

As he snarled down at her, somthing hit him in the side and sent him realing. The next thing he knew he was pinned uderneath a giant claw. "All this for a knife," he said throwing it as best he could it landed next to Kenya's head "You can have it back."

Kenya growled as he got the upper hand, but was shocked when a huge mass pinned her down. Looking up she was surprised, to say in the least, to see a huge red dragon keeping her pinned against the sand. She quickly came over her shock, and a bit of awe, and wiggled one of her arms free so she could grab her knife. "Yes, you have no idea how powerful they are. Don't you DARE, EVER try and take one again. Or your life is over." She hissed at him. The main reason she wouldn't leave one of her weapons behind, was because her master, and closest thing to family, had given her everything.

Fenlore groaned and rubbed his temples, They still act so.....so......arrogant! Even under a dragon claw! Fenlore stepped forward and patted Fenirexes on his shoulder. Fenirexes was one of the few dragon who Fenlore did not fear. "Good to see ya again." He looked down at Kenya and Groudes, "As for you two, calm down."

Groudes shot a glare at the rider, "You are the one who sicked the dragon on us." the rogue said as he squrmed out from under the big lizard. Groudes started agian towards the town, he would get his boat and find those danmed pirates.

Kenya glared at them all. "Well if he hadn't taken my knife, then I wouldn't have acted so impulsive. If you knew the true extent of the power they have if you have them all together, you'd've reacted the same way." She said icily to them. Struggling out from underneath the dragon, she was able to get a good look at him. She felt very dwarved nexted to the huge red beast. She'd never really been this close to a dragon and she felt a slight awe as she looked up at him.

Fenlore looked at Kenya with a look of amusement but when he casted his gaze on Groudes his eyes narrowed. He reached behind himself and pulled out a rolled up piece of paper.
"Go" he said in the ancient language and the paper flew from his hand and hovered right in front of Groudes.
"That is a wanted poster for you. Picked it up in town when I sailed in." He said in common speech this time. "It’s of you."
The paper read, "Wanted for crimes against the empire Groudes. Be wary he travels with pirates and is very dangerous." Under the words there was a picture of Groudes and under that there was a large price on his head.
"Still don't believe me?"
