I was taking about eragon + arya, about the last egg and unless they die and I said no they won't angela said Eragon wouldn't die in Alageasia. Unless arya + eragon said meant something else.

It seems to me that in this plot that is exactly what dragons do. I can only remember one storyline in which in 18 books only one pair of dragons remained faithful to each other.

Was one of them wild or were they both wild or were they both tamed?

They were neither of them. In this series dragon's eggs are catered to until they hatch and they choose their riders. There is no wild or tamed dragons. They just are!

well... this is where it gets very complicated.

if thorn and murtagh are going to be rescued, then the third rider is probably going to be evil, and therefore the third dragon, so saphira would mate with thorn. but if murtagh stays evil until the very end, then the third rider will probably be good, and saphira would mate with that dragon. i know that people are going to argue that the third rider is going to be good, because it'll be arya, but the only argument i have with that is:

when arya was captured, she was probably taken to the eggs to see if any of them would hatch, it would have been useful for galby to control an elf rider, it would have given him much more power. but since the eggs didn't hatch then, why would they know?

That's a good theory. I'm sure Galby made Arya touch the eggs and they never hatched for her so that probably means she isn't going to be rider. But I do want Eragon and Arya to get together though. Good point thedragonwing.

"thedragonwing" had a good point. That if Murtagh got rescued or dies early on, blah blah blah, then Greenie would probably be evil but if Murtagh stays evil then Greenie would most likely be good. I mean I doubt CP would make it so unfair for either side for the final battle in book 3. Someone (I' too lazy to look up who) also said that saphira may be captured and forced to mate with which ever the evil dragon is whether she likes it or not.
Also remember when Saphira, Eragon, Orik, and the eleves were in Du Weldenvarden and Dagshelgr went on. Well after it when Eragon goes to Saphira to see how she isand she says"'Eragon'... She paused.'I thought of something while I was under the influence of the eleves' spell'"..."'Every creature, no matter how pure or monstrous, has a mate of their own kind. Yet I have none.' She shuddered and closed her eyes 'In this regard, I am alone.'"
This could be considered as a forshadowing that Glaedr would be her mate. I, however do not like this idea, because Glaedr is sooo much older and bigger and he's her teacher.

I say the green Dragon, or Glaedr right before he dies (so they could continue with the rebuilding the race and to help even out the odds but it is very unlikely)

actually its very likely saphira wanted a mate and she will try her best to get him like she did to glaedr.

I believe Murtagh and Thorn will escape from Galbatorix's castle. And yes, I hope Thorn and Saphira will pair together. I always imagine Thorn becoming a hero by rescuing Saphira and defeating Shruiken but, not killing him. I'm sure Thorn will prove to the world that he is different and so many great things will happen:

1. The war will end faster.

2. Murtagh and Thorn will be set free and given another chance.

3. The Varden and the Empire will unite and become allies.

4. No more tyranny or discrimination.

5. Eragon will have Arya.

6. Murtagh will have Nasuada.

7. More lives will be saved.

8. Everything will be back to the way it was.

My opinion is no, becuase they had that incident, and for the fact that Glaedr will probably die in the next book. I think that the hypothetical green dragon is the most logical choice because the other two are evil.
