Honestly.... Robert really doesn't look that good shirtless. He's hairy and paper pale and... blech. I love a hot pale nerd but that is just ew. Taylor however is amazing.

I don't know. They had clips of that in the trailer and I was like, "What the Hell?" It was was absolutely pathetic, that was one of the worse parts. It really brought out that they are just actors and don't really take on the persona of their characters. Though I think Alice, Jake, Jasper, Emmet, Esme, Charlie, and Carlisle were pretty close to being pulled off.

Ok. You film yourself doing exactly that and we'll judge you on it instead. Have you ever done a drama class before? Do you have any idea how difficult it is to pull off that absolutely perfect? To scream and sound believable? It's not as easy as it sounds.

She's very good. That is the Bella character right there. Quiet, flat. Emotional though. She's perfect.

well if you can't pull off, don't do it. If they wanted to include it, they should've shown Charlie waking up from a dead sleep because Bella's screaming in the other room, would've been alot better.

I did like how they did the four months that just passed by, where they spun around that 'actress' and the months went by

That part was boring and too long. It isn't that hard to scream or to take on a character. I see plays and I know actors and I know what they have to do. Kristen is a horrible actress. She can only do one kind of character and she makes Bella seem boring and dull.

I agree with Valkyrie, I used to love Twilight but you can't even talk about it without people going crazy over it or ranting on how bad it is. The books are good. The movies, horrible.

Well if you read the books from a different view you will realize they are not all that great either...
The plot is bland, the characters lack depth and the writing style itself is lacking.
But back on topic...

I still think Kristin is bad for this role. If this was too hard for her to do they should have gotten an actress with more talent. I don't particularly like Robert as Edward either... but I'm not a big fan of Edward in general lol.

yeah, I realized that about the books to. SM writes it so it keeps your attention, but just barely.

Yeah, by the end of the series I liked Jake way, way more than Edward. The only reason I'm seeing the movies is because I want to see how they do Breaking Dawn, that one seems like it would do okay as a movie

They were limited on who they could get for the cast because of how finely descriptive SM made all the characters. But, Kristen and Robert are really bad and he isn't even that attractive. I don't think Breaking Dawn will make a good movie if they make it into one, which would take a long time. The baby is going to be the hardest thing not to mention they will have to edit most if not all of the scene where Bella has the baby to make it not rated R.

Post The Twilight Series Films
Not sure if there was already a topic about this
But did anyone who has read the books enjoy the films
I've read the books and watched the films. I thought the films were ok but I didn't like how they made Edward seem to be weak especially in Twilight and New Moon everyone who read the books knows that the fight between Edward and James in Twilight wasn't like that at all, as there was no fight at all only Edward pulling James off Bella. Furthermore, the fight between Edward and Felix in New Moon when they go to Voltari shouldn't have been like that because it didn't happen. In New Moon they made it seem like Edward didn't have his mind reading gift which would have been a big advantage if that fight actually happened

Anyone else who read the books feel the same way

That's exactly how I feel. If you look for the What Twilight Team Are You? post in the books section, I have the rest of my opinion there.
